Chapter 826
Chapter 826
“That‘s it!”
Waylon shook his head. “Such a waste of potential. If he hadn‘t offended the Cadogans, he might have turned out to be the second Living Reaper...”
It was a pity that destiny turned out this way!
At Admiralporium...
Taylor put his phone down with a glower and an angry snort.
Channing snarled as well, “How dare Waylon Pattingson intervene in the Cadogan‘s affair!?” Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g
Just moments earlier, his grandfather had called him to stop him from settling the score with Kayson this time. This meant that he had been beaten up for nothing–and without a channel to vent!
Taylor commented darkly, “The old man‘s at this age, yet. he‘s gotten silly this once... Listen to your grandfather first.
“I‘m sure Kayson won‘t be able to hold back from getting into another conflict with us. Will Waylon dare clash with the Cadogans just for him?“.
Channing huffed viciously. “I certainly hope so. Then
he‘ll have to pay for it!”
Jude, whose injuries were semi–recovered, sat on the side, scowling in silence.
It was then Randall walked in ecstatically.
“Patrol Yost! The owner of Eden Joy isn‘t in Skyspring, but he‘s asked Guardian Palace to meet you. Guardian Palace will fully represent him!”
“That works too!” Taylor nodded.
The group then followed Randall to a private lodge. Not only had Taylor met Guardian Palace here, but he also met the decision–maker of Skyspring‘s local forces. If Kayson were here, he would be surprised because all these people were those he had been in conflicts with — Sir Osborn from the Osborns, Falon Miller from the Millers, Hudson Wolfenden from the Wolfendens, Clifford Frith from the Friths, and even Carlson Carling from Soulspring Pharmaceutical.
Taylor also arched a brow upon Randall‘s introduction, not expecting Kayson to be in conflict with so many people.
After the pleasantries , Taylor went straight to business.
“All of you here are local, and I believe you‘re more familiar with the situation here than I am.
“Channing and I come representing the Cadogans, and
one of the purposes we‘re here in Skyspring is to stop Wolfenden Corp. from entering the market here.
“I heard that a project was internally decided to be passed to Wolfenden Corp., and it will be handed to them tomorrow as the company‘s first stepping stone into Skyspring
“Do any of you have a good solution?”
Before they spoke, Channing asked with a frown, “This is odd. Why isn‘t Seth here? The Cadogans have put him here in Skyspring!”.
At this moment, Sir Osborn and the others learned that Metrocity‘s Cadogans backed the Rivspring Chamber of Commerce!
That was why an outsider like Seth could establish himself so swiftly in Skyspring and become a powerful influence!
In spite of it, no one knew what was up, so no one answered.
Hudson spoke up. “Perhaps he’s occupied with other matters. I‘ve informed him about this.”
Channing seemed dissatisfied but said nothing more.
Taylor spoke up. “The Cadogans do not wish to see Wolfenden Corp. grow. Dickinson International mustn‘t be handed to them. Any idea how we can stop this?”
“I suggest killing Sadie Wolfenden first!” Hudson snarled resentfully.
