My Ex-wife's Hidden Personalities

Chapter 444 Rebellious Girl

Chapter 444 Rebellious Girl

“I didn’t even know when we got a new secretary,” Radley whispered.

Freya reached out and blocked his face, which was already leaning in.

“Are you sure? That skirt is so short it barely covers her thighs!”

A smile played at the corner of Radley’s lips. Even though they were covered, the aggressiveness in his ink- colored eyes still made people’s hearts race.

“I haven’t seen it.”

Freya felt a dampness on the back of her hand. It was a puppy-like gesture, but when she met those eyes, she couldn’t help but feel a little flustered.

Five minutes later, she sat breathlessly at the desk.

Radley had rolled up his sleeves and was looking through documents, his thin lips carrying a hint of a

smile.

She glared at him. “How is Hannah doing lately?”

“She ran away from home,” Radley said calmly.

“What? It escalated to this point so quickly?” Freya raised an eyebrow.

She had thought Hannah might run away from home because her family didn’t approve of her relationship with Baxter, but wouldn’t that take some time?

“What are you going to do next?” she asked.

He pinched his brow. “Let Hannah make a fuss for now, as long as she doesn’t cross the line.”

After being with Radley for so long, Freya understood the hidden meaning in his words.

As long as she doesn’t cross the line, once she does, Baxter will disappear immediately.

However, this method was ultimately not feasible. Freya shook her head. “You promised me before that I would handle this matter.”

He

put down the documents. “I don’t want you to be too tired.”

“I’m not tired. Besides, when I need help, I will come to you. Freya smiled. “But for now, I need you to do me a favor.”

“What favor?”

Freya narrowed her eyes. “Cancel Hannah’s credit cards!

After having lunch with Radley, she left the Monaghan Group at 2 pm.

After getting in the car, she called Hannah, planning to meet her.

After a few rings, Hannah finally answered the phone.

“Hannah, where are you?” Freya asked with a smile.

Hannah’s voice on the other end sounded guarded. “Why are you asking? What do you want?”

Freya laughed. “I just want to see you.”

There was silence on Hannah’s end for a few seconds. “Freya, did my brother tell you I ran away from home? Are you here to persuade me?”

The smile on Freya’s face faded slightly. “Hannah, you’re an adult now, and you should know that your mother and brother worry about you. We can discuss your love life slowly. There’s no need for this hurtful approach. Just think about how worried your mother will be when you leave.”

Hannah’s voice became sharp. “Freya, don’t accuse me like that. Wasn’t it even more inappropriate when you liked my brother? Back then, I didn’t see you considering Mrs. Kaufmann and Braxton’s feelings, did

I?”

Freya let out a deep sigh. She also had done such things.

“It’s because I’ve been through it that I’m here to advise you not to wait until it’s too late!”

“I don’t care!” Hannah shouted. “You don’t have to tell me I won’t be happy. My mom and my friends have already told me countless times. Freya, you say you’ve been through it, but why should I listen to you? I want to go my own way, and none of you can take away my right to love freely!”

Freya felt a headache coming on. It was useless to say anything to this rebellious teenage girl!

Sometimes, people have to hit a wall themselves before they turn back.

Even though she had regretted it countless times, it couldn’t change Hannah’s decision now.

Freya Kaufmann sighed again. “Fine, I support your relationship with Baxter, but you still have to let me know how you’re doing now, right?”

There was silence on the other end for a while, and then Baxter’s voice came through, trying to persuade Hannah.

Freya felt disgusted. Any responsible man shouldn’t make an unmarried girl abandon her family and run away with him.

She had made a stupid mistake in the past, but at least she had married Radley.

Even so, she still regretted how her enthusiasm hurt her family.

Soon, Hannah’s voice came through again. “Anyway, when I reach the age to get married, I will register with Bax, and after we get the certificate, I will naturally come back home”

Freya frowned. “Okay.”

Since Hannah didn’t want to say where she was now, she wouldn’t ask further.

Anyway, if she wanted to investigate, she could find out now.

Yet going now wouldn’t make a difference and would only make Hannah more rebellious.

Freya drove straight back home. At this time, only Sylvia and Isabella were at home.

They were sitting in the living room watching a TV drama. When they saw Freya enter the house, Isabella called out to her.

“Frey, want to come and watch a movie with us?”

Freya went over and bent down to take Isabella Parker’s pulse.

Sylvia looked over with a smile. “How is Izzy doing?”

Freya smiled and let go of her hand. “She’s doing well, keep it up, Izzy.”

Isabella rubbed her belly. “I didn’t feel any hardship. It’s just that your brother made me avoid spicy snacks and ice cream. It’s been tough, but I finally got through the morning sickness phase.”

Freya thought for a moment. “You can have a little ice cream, but not too much.”

Sylvia also pondered. “Izzy, how about I have the maid melt the ice cream? We can have it at room temperature.”

Freya chuckled. “Would that still be ice cream?”

She sat with Sylvia and Isabella for a while. However, she couldn’t help but remind Isabella, “Izzy, I know you’re bored at home all day, but for safety reasons, you should go out less.”

After all, Jamie wasn’t caught yet.

Isabella nodded. “That’s alright. My mom brings her friends over every other day, and they play chess with her. I’m not bored.”

Freya smiled. “I’ll go upstairs first. I have some documents to attend to.”

“Go ahead.”

After she went upstairs, she opened Twitter and planned to retweet the latest release of the Wonder Aroma perfume. With over a hundred million Twitter followers, she saw it as a form of promotion.

After retweeting, Freya looked at the recent comments.

Many people mentioned her and Edward’s accounts, asking when they would go live. Published by Nôv'elD/rama.Org.

When she saw Edward’s account, Freya pursed her lips tightly and clicked on it.

The account’s updates were stuck forever at their last livestream.

From then on, Edward would no longer assist her with debugging,

She sighed deeply and sat before the computer for a while before posting another tweet.

DiligentFrey: ‘Resuming beauty and wellness live streams this weekend.

After posting, Freya finally closed her computer.

5:30 p.m.

At the Monaghan Group, Connor hurriedly entered the office with some documents.

“Mr. Monaghan, these are the reports from the Finance Department. They said to ask you to review them when you have time.”

He took the reports and placed them in a drawer. “Let’s go home to the Monaghans mansion.”

“Yes”

As they left the office, Connor remembered something and stopped Radley.

“Did a recent Wildwood graduate join the president’s secretary’s office?”

“Yes”

“Let her leave on her own.”
