Chapter 125 Know-It-All

After finishing everything. Freya left the house to have a look around for the first time.

Most of Lagresh was covered in snow, portraying a white landscape.

Freya had been sick for the first few days after arriving in Lagresh, but now that she was in good health, she felt good looking at the scenery.

She turned to Brisa and suggested. “We have a week off. Why don’t we go out and have some fun?”

Brisa was excited. “Let me search online for some good sightseeing spots around here!”

The sightseeing spots couldn’t be too far from the capital, and she soon found a nearby ski resort.

Freya was eager to go, but before leaving, she thought of Radley. After all, he had taken care of her for three days.

Plus, she was staying at his place and eating his food, it wouldn’t be right to leave without telling him.

Freya went back to her room after hesitation.

She gently knocked on Radley’s study door on the first floor and heard a male voice say, “Come in.”

She pushed the door slightly open and didn’t go in. “Radley, I am going to the ski resort with Brisa. Are you coming?”

Freya just wanted to ask out of politeness whether Radley wanted to join them, as he always seemed busy and probably didn’t have time to go skiing.

She was about to say never mind if he didn’t want to go.

Before she could speak, she saw Radley put down his pen, stand up, and put his documents in the drawer,

Freya’s eyes widened. He had walked to the coat rack and put on his coat.

“I thought we were going skiing?” he asked with a calm and inviting expression.

Freya froze for a moment and regretted inviting him along.

Radley stepped outside, and Connor followed. The four of them drove to a ski resort near the capital of Lagresh.

When they arrived at the site, they found that there were many people there.

Freya changed into her equipment, and Brisa looked at her with some concern as she was pregnant. “Miss Kaufmann, why don’t you sit on the side and watch us play? It can relieve boredom just the same?”

Radley’s gaze had been silently fixed on Freya.

Freya smiled. Her skills were very good and she could leisurely ski around for some time.

Brisa didn’t go too far as she was worried about Freya while Radley followed behind Freya at a distance.

Ten minutes later, Radley watched the person in front of him ski faster and faster. He then frowned.

He realized there were still many things he didn’t know about Freya. He watched as Freya smoothly landed with excellent cushioning.

She turned around and raised her pole, her smiling face shining brightly in the snow-filled sky. The sun shining down couldn’t cover up the radiance on her face.

For a moment, Radley was stunned.

Seeing that she had started going back, he silently followed.

After returning from the ski resort. Freya had a thin layer of sweat on her body. After washing up in her room, she received a message from Brisa.

The traditional medicine had been urgently shipped from Caltun.

Freya asked Brisa to personally deliver it to Brandon’s place and then sent a message explaining how to prepare the medicine.

Freya had no intention of preparing it and sending it over, as she couldn’t reveal too much.

After receiving the message. Brandon replied, Isn’t the doctor Professor Harlan? He knows traditional medicine?

Freya smiled and replied. The traditional medicine doctor I know is not worse than Professor Harlan and your wife’s condition needs to be treated slowly. Let her take this medicine first, two doses a day, and she should see some improvement in three days. But if you really want to get rid of the root cause of the disease, it may take one or two years of medication.”

A while later, Brandon replied. If it really works and can alleviate her symptoms and let her live a few more years, I won’t charge you anything for repairing your pavilion. I will make sure it looks like it did in its heyday, and at least let it stand for another few hundred years!”

Freya smiled. She replied with an “okay” emoji.

In the following days, she didn’t go skiing again.

She didn’t dare to go out too often as she was pregnant. She would only exercise occasionally.

Lagresh was cold, so Freya set up a small stove at home and invited Brisa, Connor, Radley, and two maids. to have hot pot.

The soup base was shipped from Caltun and it had the Florin flavor.

The two local maids in Lagresh loved the flavor and was obsessed with it.

Every day in the bungalow was lively and had a great family atmosphere.

On the weekend, Radley came out of the study and saw Freya curled up on the sofa in her home clothes. tapping away on her tablet at lightning speed. The speed of her tapping didn’t look like she was typing.

When she saw him. Freya put down the tablet and smiled at Radley. They had become more casual with cach other.

He was curious about the scarf around her neck and asked, “Are you going out? Brandon called me just now and said that his wife’s condition has been improving slowly recently. He’s willing to go back with us, but he wants to bring his wife along”

Radley, who was going to step outside, paused slightly. Going back meant that he would have to leave….

This week in the bungalow had made him feel warm. It was the warmth of a family.

“That’s fine. Lagresh is too cold after all, and it’s not good for your health.”

He looked at Freya’s small belly and a trace of doubt flashed through his mind. “You said Professor Harlan for Brandon, but now you’ve switched to traditional medicine?”

Freya smiled and said, “There are a lot of diseases that modern medicine can’t treat but traditional medicine can. That’s the specialty of traditional medicine.”

Radley knew Freya was avoiding his questions. She didn’t tell him why she knew Professor Harlan, and now she didn’t say how she knew a traditional medicine doctor who was comparable to Professor Harlan.

Radley’s mind flashed and suddenly felt that something was not right.

Freya had lied to him so many times before, and now she had solved Brandon’s wife’s problem without contacting anyone.

Could it be…that Freya herself was the traditional medicine doctor?

Radley stared at Freya, thinking that she also knew how to mix fragrances. Then, he let out a chuckle, laughing at himself that he was thinking too much.

How could one person know so many things?

Freya knew martial arts and could play the drums. All of these were things he didn’t know about her before.

If she was also an excellent traditional medicine doctor, then she was really too smart.

Freya didn’t notice Radley’s expression. “I’ll ask Brisa to pack up tonight. If nothing goes wrong, we can go back the day after tomorrow.”

Radley nodded. “Okay.”

He pushed the door open, and the cold wind blew into his body.

Going home.

He suddenly didn’t want to go back as it would be nice to stay in this bungalow with Freya forever.

Standing in the yard covered in silver, Radley looked back at the warm lights in the house, squinting slightly. Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org exclusive © material.
