Chapter 1999 In Love With Him
Byron did not look like he was joking.
Rosalie was startled. She did not expect he would say that.
At that time, her thoughts were simple back then. She had never thought of the possibility of someone taking it out to take a peek before burying it.
So, she nodded. Then, she rumbled through her things and tore a paper off her diary. Then, she folded it.
The pages of her diary were purple back then.
“Are you done?” Byron asked curiously.
Rosalie nodded. “Yes. That’s my wish. It’s long. I wonder if it’ll come true!”
“Well, put it in then!” A breeze blew as Byron approached.
His refreshing scent made her face flush red.
She carefully put the paper into the wish bottle.
Byron immediately stuffed the cork and smiled. “I will bury your wish now. The earth represents endless hope. I believe putting the wish on the earth would make it come true!”
In an instant, Rosalie froze.
She would never forget that scene.
That man tilted his head and smiled. He looked handsome and alluring.
In the sunlight, his features were so breathtaking.
Then, Byron left. The exchange student program ended, and he was never seen in her high school again.
They met when Rosalie was 15, and he had made her think about him all her life.
Rosalie did not even have the chance to ask him if he had buried the wish bottle for her.
He did not even know her name!
After that, when she was about to graduate from university, she was forced to marry Byron because her father traded her for a sum of money.
Rosalie thought Byron would recognize her.
However, he was cold toward her during their three years of marriage and never took her as his wife.
She chose him because of her crush on him when she was still an ignorant teenager. Having a baby by accident was something that happened after that.
Andrius and Mary could not snap out of their daze upon hearing Rosalie’s story.
“So, Rosie, you’ve been in love with Byron since the age of 15?” Mary finally realized why Rosalie chose Byron.
No wonder even though Byron had hurt her feelings, she still loved him and was unwilling to give up.
Rosalie smiled and admitted it.
“After listening to the details, I think I can link them to my memories of those days. Byron did take a few days off after getting injured that year. Later, I felt that he had something on his mind, and the number of times he went to that ordinary high school was much more than before.”
Andrius recalled and was certain Rosalie had indeed met Byron that time.
“Rosalie, so you were the one who wrote this.” He handed the wish bottle to Rosalie.
The cork had come loose over the years. Rosalie easily loosened it and shook out the folded purple paper.
She opened it slowly, and Mary leaned over to look at it. She wanted to see what Rosalie had wished for back then. Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Delicate and beautiful writing covered the paper. There were many wishes on it.
One of the biggest wishes she had written was, ‘I hope I can enter the same university as Byron.’
The following wishes were that she wanted to study medicine well, make a lot of money, and build a career for herself in the future.
A 15-year-old girl’s wishes were simple and straightforward, but she used all kinds of adjectives and fancy sentences.
Mary chuckled. “I never expected to see you writing in such fancy and beautiful language.”
Rosalie did not feel embarrassed. Instead, she said proudly,” Back then, many girls asked me to help them with their love letters.”
