Feeling Dilan’s frosty glare, the guy touched his head and quickly backtracked, “Yeah, my bad.” Dilan’s expression clouded; he was only eager to get out of there. However, Rosalynn shouted out to him before he even took two steps.

Dilan stopped and signaled his comrades to scram. “What's cooking?” he asked.
Rosalynn, now standing in front of him, remarked, “Dilan, you saw me, but you played it cool. Not the friendliest move, don’t you think?”
She had a teasing edge to her voice, and seeing that, Dilan couldn’t shake the shame and anger from their showdown two months back.
