Mummy, Daddy is on his knees

Rihanna’s eyes fell on Alexa’s tightened fist around the steering wheel, it’s been twenty minutes since they entered the car but she hasn’t made an attempt to move yet.

“Are you alright?” Rihanna asked worriedly trying to take a peek at Alexa’s face..

“My brother froze all my bank cards after he found out that I was behind Kelvin and Olivia’s kidnap.. Heavens know how much I hate that woman and her son!” Her teeth gritted in annoyance..

“I’m running low on cash and I can’t tell my parents otherwise I’m screwed! I’d be sent back to Europe!”

Rihanna’s gaze softened, she brought her hand to Alexa’s cheeks stroking it tenderly, Alexa has always been by her side no matter the situation..

And to think that she was going against her brother and mum for her sake warmed her heart….

“Shh.. it’s fine, it’s only a matter of a few days before we get rid of her completely.. and then everything will go back to how it used to be” She pouted.

“But I’m not sure Damien will look at me the same way he does before” She added with a deep breath..

She had always liked Damien since they were younger, but the latter didn’t spare her a glance at all, six years ago, luck smiled on her when he finally noticed her and they bonded quickly…

Well as of now, that bond was breaking rapidly after Olivia showed up with a son..

“I got your back bestie” Alexa murmured with a small smile..

Olivia sat up on her bed when she saw the new message notification that popped up on her phone’s screen..

It was from the office, didn’t Damien give her a week’s leave to recover completely? or perhaps he suddenly regretted his decision after finding out that there was no one to bully for a whole week, she snorted at the thought..

“Chicago?!” she blurted out in surprise with a mix of anger..

The door opened as Bianca stepped in, she walked over to the vanity table skimming through it until it settled on the pink colored lipstick..

“Can I borrow this for a sec?”

“Yeah I guess” Olivia murmured still concentrated on her phone without even taking a peek at what Bianca was talking about..

As if sensing her foul mood, Bianca turned towards the mirror applying the lipstick to her lips..

“Okay spill it..”

Olivia sighed and fell back flat on her bed staring at the ceiling above her..

“I’ll be leaving for Chicago in two days time..”

Bianca turned swiftly to Olivia with an arched brow, she wondered what suddenly brought about the idea of leaving for Chicago..

“Okay.. but why?”

Olivia sat up in a swift with a bored expression on her face..

“It’s work related.. stuff like that” she rolled her eyes at the end of her sentence..

“But I thought you were on a week’s leave..”

Olivia closed her eyes briefly tugging her hair frustratingly, she was more worried about her little boy, how would he survive without her for two whole days?

An image of Kelvin sulking all day because of her absence flashed past her mind..

“Yeah I thought so too! until this overbearing boss of mine sent me a message”

Bianca’s brows shot up, okay this was a lot different now, she smiled from ear to ear wriggling her brows teasingly at the annoyed Olivia..

“Whenever you smile like that.. I feel scared to be honest” Olivia murmured..

Bianca rarely ever smile this much, and whenever she did.. boy! you’ve got to be scared..

Bianca giggled softly “Well.. this is a good way to bond with Mr Sterling.. if you’re worried about Kelvin it’s totally fine.. your mum and I are here to look after him”

Charles took a glance at his wrist watch, it’s been a while and Xander wasn’t here yet, he had no idea of what was wrong with that little cousin of his..

“Sorry I kept you waiting.. I had to grab these”

Charles snorted staring at the magazines his cousin was flaunting which showed half naked women on the cover..

“Don’t look at me that way.. you’re aren’t innocent either” Xander commented nonchalantly with a shrug..

If there was anything he knew well about Charles then that would be his glorious title of being a man wh*re..

“Shut up!”

Xander chuckled turning around to leave with his cousin when he spotted a familiar face heading towards their direction..

“Wait isn’t that…” his voice trailed off as the figure drew nearer..

Bianca cursed inwardly, just wow! whenever she steps out at night, they were always lurking around in the shadows..

She raised her phone pretending to be on a phone call just to avoid them..

“Hey”

Xander called out to her which she ignored and walked past him, heading into the hotel..

“Can you believe that lady? she just ignored me!”

Bianca took in a deep breath as she garnered enough courage to knock on the door before her, she heard footstep approaching from inside before the door was opened..

Cassie poked her head out a little to know who it was, on seeing her daughter, she pushed the door wide open for her to step in..

Bianca brushed past her mum going into the room, immediately she walked in, her eyes fell on the crumpled sheet on the bed..

“Mum! couldn’t you have at least fixed this before I came in?”

She murmured in irritation, all these felt so new to her, she was still trying to digest the fact that her mum had a new man friend..

Her brows furrowed deeply when she heard the water running in the bathroom..

Her eyes rounded in shock as she stared at her mum who was blushing beet red in embarrassment..

“He’s still around?”

Cassie ran her fingers through her long black hair “Alright honey.. I know this might take a while for you to accept it.. he wants to meet you so he can get to know you more.. you’ve been avoiding meeting him for some time now”

Bianca took a step back, she was just about to retort when the bathroom door was pushed open and a tall figure stepped out of it..

A gasp escaped her lips as the man’s warm brown eyes fell on her..

His lips curved upward into a sly grin on seeing the dazed state of the girl before him, his dark dampened hair dripped with little drops of water gliding down his face..

Bianca’s lips parted in surprise at the man’s appearance, damn he looked too hot for his age….

His chiseled jawline tightened as he looked towards Cassie..

“Nathan! put on something.. there’s a child here”

Bianca finally snapped out of her daze, she diverted her gaze to her mum..

Well she had expected a man in his late fifties to appear before her with a big belly and bald head but who knew that her supposed mum’s man friend was actually in his early forties?

Well her mum was technically around that age too and Bianca was born when her mum turned nineteen after a stand with an unknown man at a hotel..

Nathan left for the bathroom after picking out his clothes, as soon as he was gone Cassie turned to Bianca in glee..

“So what do you think about him? handsome right?”

“Yeah, I guess so..” her voice trailed staring at the crumpled sheet..

Cassie held her daughter’s face from turning to the bed, she mentally scolded herself for not arranging the bed before Bianca got here..

“I thought we agreed to search for dad” Bianca suddenly spoke causing the smile on Cassie’s face to freeze..
