Mummy, Daddy is on his knees

Olivia raised her face to him in shock and unbelief, her boss was Damien Sterling? how on earth did she not know that?

“You’re so foolish Olivia!” she scolded herself mentally, how on earth was this possible? she has heard a lot of stories about the sterlings and how they trample on anyone who double crossed them..

And the young lady whom Kelvin broke her car was his sister? that explains the reason she hated them both..

Damien snapped his fingers and brought her out of her reverie..

“I know I’m every ladies dream but please don’t include your annoying self by staring at me..”

Olivia pointed a finger at him ready to snap at him only for him to raise his hand to stop her speech..

“Zip it! and go make me a cup of coffee”

Olivia’s lips curved up into a devilish grin, she walked slowly to his desk and placed both hands on it after which she leaned forward to him..

“Of course boss.. I’ll get your coffee right away”

The door pushed open and Bella stepped in, today her outfit was a little decent unlike the previous days where she dresses like a sl*t queen..

Olivia stepped away from the table granting Bella access to stand in front of the boss, she threw Olivia a menacing gaze and huffed..

“Go get the coffee!” Damien lashed out at her when she wasn’t making any attempt to move out of the office..

Bella looked up to the boss and then back to Olivia who was fuming in anger..

“Make that two Olivia.. I hope you don’t mind?” Bella asked with a smug smile..

Olivia grinned from ear to ear, since they wanted to drink coffee so bad then they were gonna have it..

“Of course, I don’t mind.. after all what are colleagues for? two cups of coffee coming right up!” She said in excitement and hurried out of the office..

Damien stared at the closed door and sighed in relief, that woman will be the end of him and there was no other way about it..

Bianca frowned when she found Kelvin still asleep, she sat beside him on the bed and touched his head gently..

“Kelvin you’ll be very late to school today wake up”

Kelvin opened his eyes slowly “Aunt I don’t feel so good.. please let me stay today”

Kelvin blinked his cute grey orbs at her with a small pout, Bianca touched her chest and was unable to refute him..

“Okay dear.. I’ll go warm up some milk for you.. be good okay?”

She planted a soft kiss on his forehead and left his room, soon after she left Kelvin stood on his bed with a wide grin on his lips..

“Now for phase two of my plan!”

The door opened gently as Olivia came in with a tray where two cups of coffee sat, she placed it on the desk..

“I hope you like it” she said with a polite smile and left for her office.

Bella’s brows furrowed when she saw Olivia going into the transparent space in Damien’s office, she had always wanted that place to herself where she could get go see the man of her dreams everytime while she works..

Olivia settled down in her little office, she took a glance at them and caught Damien staring at her, she flashed him a toothy smile which made his face scrunch..

He picked up his cup of coffee from the table and raised it to his lips, Bella quickly closed the file in her hands and lifted the cup to her lips..

They both took a sip and almost immediately they stood up to their feet and spat it out of their lips as if they’ve tasted a piece of junk…

Damien took a look at Bella who also had the same expression as him, he snapped his head to Olivia who was trying to cover up her smile even though she wasn’t staring at them..

His knuckles tightened into a fist as he stared at the bold lady at the other room..

Bianca turned off the cooker and pulled off her sky blue apron..

She walked out of the kitchen and was a bit surprised to see Kelvin holding a glass of orange juice to her with a wide grin..

“Kelvin, aren’t you supposed to be up in your room?”

“Aunt.. I know how tired you must be since mummy left earlier than usual today.. please have this and get your strength back”

Bianca was moved, she ruffled his hair with her hands and accepted the glass of juice from him “Thanks honey.. I really needed it”

Kelvin smiled at her compliment, he watched her raise the glass to her lips and drank its content to the last drop..

Bianca burped softly and giggled, she suddenly felt refreshed..

“I’ll go get changed alright? and then we’ll have breakfast together.. I made pasta especially for you”

Kelvin’s smile never left his face, he watched her leave the living room and slowly tailed behind her..

Bianca untied her black hair which she tied into a messy bun..

She staggered forward feeling a little bit drowsy, maybe it was as a result of staying wide awake all night..

Her eyes fell on her smooth bed and instantly she was tempted to sleep on it, she fell on her bed staring at her ceilings with a small smile..

“I’ll just close my eyes for a little while” she murmured with her eyes closed..

Olivia stood under Damien’s scrutinizing gaze, she noticed how red Bella was getting as she remained silent..

“I asked for a cup of coffee not a death wish!” Damien suddenly yelled out of the blue.

Olivia rolled her eyes with a small smile dainted at at the corner of her lips..

“Oh you did! but you never asked if I could actually make a coffee”

Damien was dumbfounded at the reply he got, Bella turned to Olivia in anger, she was traumatized after tasting the horrible coffee..

“You did this on purpose! I’m sure you can tell the difference between salt and sugar!”

Olivia shook her head with a pout “what? I’m so sorry i wasn’t able to make a nice cup of coffee for you both.. actually it’s my first time of making it so I’d appreciate it if you can show me the right way to make a nice cup of coffee just in case of next time”..

Bella’s demeanor changed when she heard Olivia’s last words, was she indirectly sending her out to make coffee?

“You should apologize to the boss this minute!”

Olivia scoffed, she owed no one an apology most especially if that person was Damien Sterling! he started it first and now this is just payback..

She swiped her hair resting on her shoulder over Bella’s face and walked slowly to Damien who had an indifferent expression on his face..

“Dear boss.. are you upset with me? but I don’t think you should be because we are even now..”

Damien’s jaw clenched in anger, he took in deep breaths to stop himself from acting irrational towards the bold lady in front of him..

“Bella.. leave us” Damien ordered and Bella nodded to his words and did as instructed, she failed to understand why the boss hasn’t fired her despite her ill manner towards him..

Olivia returned her gaze back to his face, he was quiet and she knew this was the calm before the storm..

But before he stormed on her, she had a few more words to say so she cleared her throat to speak..

“Well.. the thing is you’re too mean to work with, I’m only tolerating you because your mum asked me to work under you.. if not I’d rather be jobless than working for you..”

“Olivia Parker.. you’re so bold which makes me want to know how far you’re willing to go with such attitude of yours..”

She arched a brow at him with a loud scoff, who does he think he is? Damien Sterling? so what if he is Damien Sterling that doesn’t give him the right to bully her at every chance he coukd get..

“I plan to go far in life boss.. but I have a question for you, how much farther can you go? today you luckily escaped from my clutches.. but I’m not sure you will next time” She said with a sly smirk..

Damien’s thick brows furrowed trying to decipher what she meant by that..

“What do you mean by that?”

Olivia laughed out dryly which he found even more suspicious..

“With time we will find out!” She declared and returned back to her post which left him even more confused..
