Mr. Williams Wants His Ex-Wife Back

Chapter 56

Chapter 56

They ate lunch at the restaurant downstairs.Adam was probably too rich to run up his money.

It was only two people eating, but he ordered a large table of food.

However, Rebecca clearly remembered that Adam had said it more than once that he couldn't eat when looking at her.

Now, she was sitting opposite him.

He could see her without looking up.

Rebecca didn't understand.

Why did he order so many dishes? Could he finish them? When the dishes were served, two-thirds of the New Orleans dishes on the table were sweet.

Rebecca didn't like sweet food, so even if the table was full of dishes that she hadn't eaten before, she just filled her stomach and then stopped.

"Don't you like it?"

Seeing Rebecca put down her chopsticks so quickly, Adam asked her.

Rebecca looked at him, smiled, and said, "I'm full"

Adam looked at her and suddenly his face darkened.

He said coldly, "Eat more even if you're full."

Rebecca looked at him.

Under his eyes, she picked up her chopsticks, took the food in front of her, and began to stuff it into her mouth one by one.

Adam looked at her submissive expression and suddenly became even angrier.

He put the chopsticks on the table with a bang, wiped the corners of his mouth with a wet towel on his left hand, stood up, and strode out.

Since the room number was reported during the meal, there was no need to pay the bill alone during the meal.

They just needed to pay it together when they checked out.

Rebecca watched him leave angrily, then she put down the chopsticks wiped the corner of her mouth with a wet towel, got up, and followed him because Adam said that after lunch, he accompanied her to buy clothes.

Sure enough, when Rebecca came out of the restaurant, she saw Adam standing next to the black Mercedes-Benz with a cigarette between his fingertips.

It was noon, the sunshine was strong and the smoke from his thin lips curled up, making it hard to be seen clearly.

It seemed that in Skyline No.1 when he was with Linda, Adam never smoked.

"Get in the car!"

Seeing Rebecca coming over, Adam ordered coldly.

Rebecca said, "Okay”

She walked to the other side, opened the door of the back seat, and sat in.

After she sat in, Adam put the half-smoked cigarette out in the cigarette box on the trash can, and then got in the car, slamming the door shut...

Adam took Rebecca to New Orleans Tower, which was the most upscale shopping center in New Orleans.

The car drove into the underground garage, then they took the elevator and went straight to the women’s clothing area. This content is © NôvelDrama.Org.

Rebecca followed Adam.

The two of them were not close or far away, about an arm's length.

However, neither of them spoke to anyone.

There was no expression on their faces.

They looked like two strangers walking together coincidentally.

After getting out of the elevator, Adam went straight to the shops of the top international brands, but Rebecca didn't want to follow him.

She went straight to the other side, where there were basically domestic brands.

Linda was wearing all the clothes of the top international brands.

She was not Linda, and she didn't need them.

Adam walked a few meters and found that Rebecca did not follow.

When he looked sideways, Rebecca had already walked into a shop of a domestic brand.

His handsome eyebrows could not help but frown.

Although he was unhappy, Adam still turned around and followed her.

Originally, when the salespeople in the store saw Rebecca come in, they were just indifferent and asked her to look around.

But as soon as Adam followed in, their attitudes became obviously much more enthusiastic.

They quickly went forward and asked Adam what kind of clothes he needed.

Rebecca, who was looking at the clothes in front of the hanger, turned around and looked at Adam, who was surrounded by two salespeople.

She couldn't help but smile.

Sure enough, the rich and the poor were mostly visible at a glance, just like the rich and the poor could be written on people's faces.

"I accompany my wife to buy clothes.Just serve her well."

In the face of the enthusiasm of the salespeople, Adam just said this sentence lightly.

Then, he went straight to the sofa in the lounge of the store and sat down.

His long legs are crossed.

Then, he casually picked up the dress brochure on the small round table and read it.

As soon as Adam said that, the salespeople naturally went to Rebecca, and someone quickly went to serve Adam tea.

When the two salespeople surrounded her and asked Rebecca what kind of clothes she wanted to choose with smiles on their faces, Rebecca was still a little stunned.

What did Adam say just now? He said: "I accompany my wife to buy clothes."

"Wife" did that refer to her? He suddenly blurted out this intimate appellation.

Was it because he said the same thing when he was shopping with Linda? So, the habit became nature?

"Madam, what's your name?"

Seeing Rebecca standing there in a daze with no response, one of the salespeople asked with a smile.

Rebecca came back to her senses and looked at Adam.

For some reason, her breathing was a little disordered.

Then, she absent-mindedly took out a pink lace dress from the hanger.

"Ah, madam, you have a good taste. This lace dress is a new style recommended by our shop owner. There are another two colors, beige and black. But I think pink suits you best. Why don't you try it on?"

Flattery was the specialty of every salesperson.

When the salesperson saw Rebecca took out the dress, the salesperson immediately flattered her.

When Adam heard this, he raised his eyes and glanced at Rebecca and the pink dress she was holding in her hand.

He was completely noncommittal and lowered his head again.

Rebecca smiled and put the dress back without hesitation, not because Adam didn't like it, but because she didn't like it.

This princess dress was not her style at all.

The salesperson looked at it.

Although the salesperson was disappointed, the smile was still.

Putting down the pink lace dress, Rebecca continued to look at the clothes in the store, piece by piece.

To be honest, she had hardly worn a dress since college, so she had no idea what kind of dress she could wear and what style she could handle.

Although the dresses in this shop were all beautiful, Rebecca felt that none of them suited her.

"Madam, is there nothing you like?"

When Rebecca looked at the clothes roughly and was about to leave, the salesperson immediately asked her with a smile and wanted to keep her.

"Otherwise, let's recommend some to you!"

As the salesperson spoke, the salesperson quickly went to the hanger to get three dresses.

A black hollowed-out lace dress, a peppermint floral dress, and the last dress was a pale pinkish grey chiffon dress.

"Take a look. How about these three? Different styles, but they all suit you very well.Would you like to try them on, you may like them."

Holding the dress, the salesperson was particularly enthusiastic.

"Try them on!"

Just as Rebecca was about to refuse, a man's deep and mellow voice came from not far away.
