Chapter 6
Chapter 6
She had once cursed Lambert Enterprise, hoping that they would become bankrupt, but her curse didn't work. Lambert Enterprise had developed so swiftly and established such a large office building.
Thinking of Xenophilius and Jessamyn, as well as the fact that they were living a carefree life with her father's shares, the resentment she had suppressed for four years surged within her like a raging tide.
If there ever came a day where she had the ability to do something, she would reclaim her father's shares.
She secretly made this vow in her heart.
The company's arranged apartment was nice. It was at a high-end residential area, and there was a bilingual kindergarten in it, which was very suitable for residents who had children.
The company gave her a week off to rest before returning to work.
Vivianna was ready to bring her son around this city and relax for a week.
However, after two days, an important client came to her company. Her boss called her and said that a rich lady had asked for her to design a diamond ring as her wedding anniversary gift one month later.
Vivianna was famous, and she was a designer who was very popular among the rich and powerful families.
When the phone call ended, the client was waiting for her in the company. However, the little fellow had not signed up for kindergarten yet, so she could only bring him to the company.
"Zeph, listen to Mommy's words. I'll meet a client later, and you will stay in Mommy's office. Don't run around, okay?" Vivianna warned the little fellow.
"Mommy, don't worry. I will be obedient." The little fellow blinked his large eyes in a serious manner and nodded.
Vivianna looked at her son's beautiful eyes, as well as his delicate face. People who had seen him all said that he didn't look like her, except for his fair skin.
Vivianna felt bitter. He probably looked like his father. She couldn't remember the appearance of the man from that night.
It didn't matter whether he was ugly or short or tall.
She looked at her son, who was taller than an average three-year-old child. He was close to the height of a five-year-old child. He was unbelievably handsome, and she really felt that God had blessed her with his presence.
Moreover, the most important thing was his IQ. Her son's IQ was close to that of a genius. At such a young age, he was good at everything. He could speak both English and Chinese. Also, her aunt's grandson was in the third grade of primary school, and the little fellow could actually do his homework.
His IQ was unbelievable.
"Mommy, you are staring at me again. Am I that good looking?" The little fellow joked.
Vivianna kissed him hard on the forehead. "I gave birth to you. Of course, you're good looking."
"Mommy, others say that I don't look like you. Then, I must look like daddy," Zephaniah said.
Vivianna's heart skipped a beat. She felt absolutely guilty as he lacked a father's love.
"Maybe!" she said. All rights © NôvelDrama.Org.
"So, as long as a man looks like me, he might be my daddy?" He said excitedly. His daddy was probably an enlarged version of himself.
Vivianna pursed her lips into a smile and she lowered her head to look at her watch. "Alright, I'm almost late. Let's go!"
They took a cab to the company. The fact that the company could afford such an office in the city meant that it was doing well. Vivianna walked all the way to the central section of the road. When she looked up, she saw a magnificent building in the center. The unique aspect of this building was the three connected skyscrapers. It was like a huge pyramid, outshining the surrounding buildings.
Vivianna glanced at Lambert Enterprise, which was not far away. It was considered puny compared to this building.
Which company was this? It was astounding.
"Wow! It's so beautiful!" Zephaniah exclaimed in admiration. After all, the little fellow had already developed his own taste in regards to aesthetic values and appreciation of beauty.
Vivianna's company was in a small building next to this building. However, it was located in the central area of the city, where every inch of land was worth a fortune.
Even if it was just a small high-rise building, it still needed funds and proper maintenance.
