Hmm. The kiss is getting tense, because his lips went down to her neck, running his sweetness around it. After a brief moment of reality, Raine withdrew from the kiss and uttered with his eyes staring into hers.

“I’m sorry for not realizing how you feel about me because I have been a fool for not realizing. ”

Eva POV

One is said to be lucky if one can figure things out without being stressed or stressed. For the fact that I know his feelings for me are sincere and real but it won’t seem reasonable to fall into his words. Moreover, I felt like doing more by reading his emotions but mine couldn’t get under control.

“I think he wants to settle things with Mrs Hathaway and her daughter. ” Raine uttered and I nodded while resting my back off. I stayed on my bed, lying softly, my heart was beating fast but I had to mask my nervousness.

“I don’t have enough time Eva. I have a class and I have to be present. ” He said, standing up.

“Is he going so soon? ” I thought, and I rose from the bed.

“Thank you, I appreciate your kind words and affection. ” I uttered, he shook his head and brought his face closer to mine. Naughty me, I thought that was a kiss but it wasn’t. He plastered his lips on my forehead, just a brief moment of happiness. I felt new and special, I realized my lips were getting wide with a smile.

“You should be discharged today–”

“My dad will want me to come home today. ” I cut him off with a pout.

“That will be fine. You should have enough rest, Eva. ” He uttered, his eyes staring into mine.

“Of course, I will. ” I smiled and he pecked my cheeks. His back was turned on me as he walked out of the ward. The swing of the door was what I could see.

Realizing I am the only one alone. I screamed out loud. So this is how it feels, having feelings and he admits to it. Nothing feels sided but true. Just alone, battling with my thoughts, my mind went to my dad.

“When will he be done? ” I mumbled and stood up, I groaned softly and walked out of the ward.

Author POV

Mr Longoria, Mrs Hathaway and Sandra were all seated on a single chair each. The director cleared her throat before speaking up.

“Every staff member in this school wants Sandra out of the school. ” The female director began, Mrs Hathaway nodded despite feeling furious.

“We have an anonymous box, where students have the right to express how they feel, what they think… And it’s been on for years, today happens to be the date my assistant goes there to pick up the letters. Fairly speaking, most of it is about Sandra, students want her out of the school, along with her best friend Hailey– ”

“Hailey had nothing to do –”

“Shut your fucking mouth asshole. ” Mrs Hathaway yelled, Sandra rolled her eyes and gulped nothing down her throat.

“We understand ma’am, how you are feeling right now. ” The female director said quietly.

“That is why we have no choice but to have her away due to the request of the students. Moreover, this isn’t Sandra’s first time, causing trouble, being a bully and other immoral acts. ”

“But Mr Longoria, consider giving her a second chance to be of good behaviour because she apologizes to him and also! She promises to be on good behaviour. ”

“She apologized ” Mrs Hathaway stuttered, knowing fully Sandra can never apologize for something like that.

Mrs Hathaway got worried about what her daughter is planning this time around.

“There’s no point in giving her another chance. –”

“Mom??!! ” Sandra called, looking speechless.

“Don’t interrupt me, Sandra. When I am talking, you don’t interrupt my words. ” Mrs Hathaway yelled, her face wasn’t welcoming.

“May I ask why you down my offer of giving her another chance? ”

“Of course, I will gladly love to. ” Mrs Hathaway replied, leaving the man curious.

“First, Sandra hardly apologizes, even if you tell her to. And if she gets to apologize, she has something in mind to do.–”

“Are you real? ” The man gasped, taking a look at Sandra, only for her to scoff and roll her eyes away.

“She might not act forward immediately but she has something up her sleeve. I was thinking of letting her stay, and I was thinking of apologizing to you but after hearing the whole school wants her out, then I thought it was pointless. ” She explained, everywhere becoming silent.

“Since this is what they want, I think she should be out of the school. ” Mr Longoria uttered, with a conclusive tone and walked out of the office, leaving the director to do her best in getting Sandra out of the school.

“But I am sincere about my apology, mom. Sandra’s teary voice came out quietly at first…

“There is no point in you staying here, the whole school wants you to get the fuck out of here, Do you know what that means? Sandra shook her head. It means you are no longer needed, you are a parasite to them. And I think you are. Having a boyfriend is cool but getting obsessed isn’t. Leave the boy alone but you didn’t to the extent that, you had to push her from the rooftop. Seriously, I can’t believe that you decided to become a monster because of a guy. ” Mrs Hathaway uttered, feeling disgusted.

“I would love to take my leave, director. ” Mrs Hathaway uttered, as she stood up. Tapping Sandra on her shoulder.

The director took a deep breath and filled in her expelled form.

“I will need your signatures. ” The director’s voice made Mrs Hathaway take her fingers off the door knob.

Everyone signs the form and departs from the director’s office. They were about to step foot out of the main building when the voice came out of the general announcement speaker.

“Sandra Hathaway is hereby expelled from Pinnacle High School. ”

Loud cheers came from different classrooms. That same moment Eva gasped, right behind them, with her hand with her and every escort behind them.

(Stuttering) “Dad???? I thought you said everything is being taken off. ”

“Yes Eva, can we go now? ” Mr Longoria replied as he pulled her arm.

“This… Isn’t settled Dad. The director just announced her expulsion. ” She stuttered, looking confused.

“Sweetheart dear. Please don’t get angry at your dad, I was the one that told the director to expel her,–”

“Why? Eva asked, still confused why her mom would want something painful for her daughter.

“I have my reason dear, I’m thankful to your dad for giving my business a chance, including Sandra but I had to turn down Sandra’s. ” Mrs Hathaway explained, with a warm smile plastered on her face.

Eva glanced at Sandra, but she did not react to her face.

“Let’s go, Dad. ” Eva uttered, walking down to the parking lot.

“I shouldn’t feel guilty, right? ” Eva asked her dad and he agreed.

“Yeah, you shouldn’t. ” He replied and pulled her closer.

“I have a surprise for you at home. ” Mr Longoria smiled but she rolled her eyes.

“I hope they aren’t hoes and bags. Perhaps, the things I have at home. ” She mumbled but he shook his head.

“None of it, well the surprise is, I won’t be travelling for a month, and your mom is coming back tomorrow but she’s going back next week for an important business. But I have enough time to be around my princess. ”

“I love it. Promise me you aren’t going to change your mind. ” Eva pouted as they stood in front of the car.

“I promise. ” He mumbled and pecked her forehead. They both got in and the engine ignited instantly.

Meanwhile, Mrs Hathaway and Sandra also drove out of the school.

“Since you successfully got me out of Pinnacle High. Which school am I going to next? ” Sandra asked, looking furious.

“California–”

“California?? ” Sandra exclaimed, almost close to tears.

“Since you promise not to be of good behaviour, I think that place will have your brain reset. ”

“But his daughters will maltreat me. Sandra’s voice trembles.

“Of course, you should know how it feels. And I think your uncle’s place is good since you haven’t been to the slums before. A year there will teach you a better lesson. ”

“Oh, Mom. Please. Sandra pleaded, clapping her palms together.

“My decision is final, and it’s final. ” Mrs Hathaway yelled and Sandra burst into tears, as they came out rushing down her cheeks.
