Chapter 37 Desperate Move

Kendra was looking again for another job. She could not even imagine again her situation as it repeated again and again. After two weeks of finding a job, she finally got one.

"You may start tomorrow, Ms. Kendra Clark as our new secretary of this English Academy".

The owner of the English Academy toured and introduced Kendra to the Head Teacher and some staffs at the office. The Head Teacher introduced Kendra to all the teachers and taught her exactly what she had to do.

Kendra felt relief on her new job. She also definitely moved on easily to whatever happened on her previous job. More than 6 months had passed, a guy popped up.

"Ms. Kendra, someone is looking for you."

"Yes, Okay! Thank You Ms. Kristine. I will go out after a few minutes. Let me finish this first. Could you bring my visitor at the meeting room and offer him something to drink?"

"Sure, no problem. Anything you want me to do for him?"

"That is all for now. Ms. Kristine, Thank You! Oh wait a minute, him?who?is he a guy? Did you get his name?"

"Yes, Ms. Kendra he is a guy. His name is Gabrielle."

Kendra had flashed back again on what happened between she and Gabrielle. Her heart suddenly beated so fast as she could not even imagine. She took her glass of water. She felt so nervous. She thought that she forgot Gabrielle already but she did not at all.

"Oh, okay! Just bring him at the meeting room. Thank you, Ms. Kristine."

Kristine followed Kendra's request.

"Sorry to keep you waiting so long, Mr. Gabrielle follow me. Anyways, my name is Kristine a receptionist here. Would you like something to drink while waiting for Ms. Kendra?"

"Coffee, will do. How long this Academy has been operating?"

"Well, this academy has been operating for 5 years now."

"Wow, not bad. It looks like you have bunch of students enrolled here."

"Yes, this academy is really booming. Here is your coffee. Are you okay here? I turned on the air conditioner. I will leave you now."

"Yes, I am okay. I will wait her here. Thank you."

Kristine the receptionist of the Academy left Gabrielle at the meeting room. After Kendra finished her paper works, she remembered that Gabrielle was waiting for her at the meeting room. She took a deep breath first and walked out of her office walking on the way to the meeting room to see Gabrielle. She opened the door. Gabrielle saw Kendra happily smiled and hugged her. Kendra could not explain how she felt but she was deeply happy.

"Yes, Gabrielle! It has been a long time. What are you doing here?How did you know I am here?"

"How are you?I miss you so much. I am here to apologize on what happened between us. I did not even help you and comfort you lastime when you were packing your stuff."

"It is okay. I am okay now. Let's forget about it. that is all? why are you here?"

"I also want to say goodbye to you, I have to leave this country after tomorrow."

When Kendra heard that she could not stop to fall her tears down. She felt that the whole big building where she at collapsed.

"You came here just for that? I could not believe that you are going to leave this country soon. Was that the true reason you easily changed your mind on me?"

"It was not easy for me to leave this country soon. I really wanted to start over with you but I have to go back to France. It will take so many months and I don't know what will happen. Thinking of you, really wanted to be with you would be hard for both of us and I can not stop thinking about you."
