Mated To The Twin Alpha Heirs

Jealous

Aaron

I watched Baron carry her out of the place and I felt myriad of emotions overwhelm me. Anger, jealousy, guilt, regret, disappointment, confusion, to mention but a few. Ever since that incident that I'd decided not to interact with her, I've been angry and Irritable but with Baron and her around, I could not show it.

I would not lie, it had been quite boring without her in our midst. But I was too angry to actually let myself dwell on anything remotely related to her. This was my brother's plan. He always seem to find a way to make us butt heads at every given opportunity. He was wild and unruly. He behaved more like a rogue than an actual Alpha's son.

I knew it had not been intentional, she had not hit Katelyn with the ball on purpose and it had not even been about defending Katelyn, far from it. I could not care less if she was hit a thousand times over, but I was already incensed by Baron's behavior, calling Katherina his mate. Even thinking about it was making my blood boil, my hands fisted by my side.

"Are you okay, Aaron?" Katelyn asked, holding one of my hands in hers.

"I'm fine." I replied curtly.

My brothers merely spared me glances before giving their attention back to their own activities. How dare Baron call Katherina his mate? Were they mates? Well, I was not a hundred percent sure but I could still be correct they were not mates. In fact, I'd bet my wolf that he had said that just to irk me. He was trying to taunt me. Though I wonder why he would think that whatever relationship he had going on with Katherina would bother me.

I sighed angrily, and dammit! It did bother me, more than I would care to admit. And the why was adding to my anger. Why would I be bothered to see my brother hanging out with her? I had once had a fleeting thought that it might be because I was angry at her for what had happened, but it was not. She was not even my girlfriend. She was my step sister. Well, she used to be.

"You know, if not for Baron, I'd have given that girl the beating of her life." Katelyn uttered from right beside me.

I totally ignored her, not saying anything. I had seen how apologetic she had been. The kick was a mistake. I'd seen Baron laugh when the ball connected with Katelyn's face, I had then thought it was intentional but seeing the glare Katherina had thrown his way, I'd known it had been a mistake on her part. And even though she was not in talking terms with any of us, she still walked over to apologize.

She had done the right thing but in that moment, nothing seemed right to me. I had already been overtaken by my raging emotions. I'd let rage blind me so bad that I'd even thrown insults regarding the phone incident at her. "You're not paying attention, Aaron." Katelyn whined from beside me. Still, I spared her not even a nanosecond glance.

"Shut it, Percy Patterson." Lucas chided, glaring at Katelyn.

Everyone except for Lucas and Katelyn chuckled. Percy Patterson was an actor who was known to be a talented, humorous whiner in every of his movie. the Image that conjured in my head was obviously funny too as I was sure it was with my brothers because we grew up watching Percy Patterson and loving his movies.

"You're laughing." She directed to me, anger and disappointment rang in her voice.

"Because it's funny." I shrugged, removing my hand from her clasp.

"Oh, is this how you keep laughing at me?" Her expression was masked in annoyance.

The boys and I just kept chuckling. Lucas was one very funny dude.

"But you did not laugh when it was Katherina standing here just few minutes ago. If anything, you and your twin brother were ready to fight for her." She was not just annoyed, she sounded bitter too.

"Did I not defend you?" I retorted, getting irritated by her needless whining.

"Or maybe you only did so because you were already angry and jealous seeing Baron with her." She spat.

I gritted my teeth, angry at her retort. My eyes flashed in rage, she gulped and kept mute. Lowering her lash a little in surrender. "Always remember Katelyn, you don't talk to an Alpha like that. You don't talk in the midst of Alphas with reckless abandon, do you understand?!" My tone had reduced dangerously.

"Yes, I'm sorry." She apologized.

Blinking, I pushed my wolf back into my head, willing it to stay calm.

"Don't you think we should look in the matter, guys?" Zach inquired.

I knew what he was talking about and while I wanted to, I had a feeling I would not be happy with myself at the end of it all. I was still holding on to my anger over the theft incident, and I wanted to justify my anger with her.

"I think it's time, Aaron. Let's at least be sure that our anger is justified. I'm feeling bad already, and I miss her too." This was from Lucas, he looked regretful and quite sad.

"Why do you guys need to look into any matter? The evidence that she stole it was there. You saw it in her bag." Katelyn put in.

My brothers and I rounded our gazes on her, and she withdrew instantly.

"What are you still doing here, Percy?" Zach asked, taunting her with the name Lucas had given her.

"I was just trying to..."

"Leave here, Katelyn. You're annoying me more." Lucas ordered her, spite filled his words.

"You guys are supporting a thief, that's just bad."

"Shut up!" My brothers growled in unison, except for Trenton but his expression was saying it all.novelbin

"The next time you call her a thief, I'll kill you." I threatened, feeling violent.

"But you guys have been calling her..."

She had barely completed the words out of her mouth when I grabbed her chin and pressed hard. She whimpered in pain, as her eyes watered and pleaded for me to let go.

I pressed harder. "We're the only ones allowed to taunt or bully her, anyone outside us, will be dead meat if they tried. Understood?"

She nodded, tears slipping out the corners of her eyes. I roughly pushed her and walked away.
