Master Odell’s Secret Ex-wife

Chapter 2117

Chapter 2117

Decker's deep eyes contained different feelings.

He stood outside the door for a while before he returned to the study room. His assistant followed him to the study room as well. Decker sat down on the chair and went online to see the video of Isabel crying.

When he broke up with her a few years back, she did not even cry this terribly.

He frowned. His gaze turned frosty.

His assistant noticed the change in his expression and asked, "Mr. Rockwell, should | stop Ms. Houston?" Decker returned to his usual elegance and said, "Just let her be."

Now that Isabel had broken up with Roland and entered a slump in her career, she must be feeling terrible. If Decker could appear by her side in a timely manner, she might return to his side once more.

A busy weekend later, Isabel finished shooting all her scenes.

After the last dinner with the crew and director, she returned to Westchester with Carla.

It was late at night. The car was driving on an empty freeway.

The car stopped in front of the gates of Karat One, the estate with the large mansion.

Before Isabel could react, Carla bellowed at the driver, Johnny, "Why did you drive us here? Turn around!"Text © owned by NôvelDrama.Org.

Johnny realized he had driven to the wrong place. He quickly turned the car around and drove back to the apartment where Isabel stayed before moving to Karat One.

Isabel closed her eyes and did not say anything.

It was not Johnny's fault. She was the one who instructed him to drive to Karat One earlier, and it was out of instinct. The car soon arrived at her apartment.

Isabel and Carla got out of the car and two bodyguards escorted them into the elevator.

The elevator opened up on the floor where she lived.

Beside the elevator was the unit that Decker bought.

Isabel did not even look in that direction and headed back to her own place with Carla and the bodyguards. She had not come back for a long time but the house was surprisingly clean.

Isabel looked at Carla. "Did you call a cleaner to clean the place up?"

Carla fluttered her eyes. "No, it’s not me."

Someone must have cleaned the place before she came back. Who was it?

As Isabel pondered, a familiar voice came from one of the rooms. "Issy, are you back?"

Isabel's expression changed.

Her beloved mother, Sylvia, and two aunties who helped raise her came out.

Sylvia strode to her daughter and sized the girl up from top to bottom.

Isabel was surprised. "Mom, why didn't you tell me you’re coming?"

Sylvia held her hand and said softly, "| missed you, so | came."

Isabel's eyes teared up. She puckered her lips and then said, "You can just call me and ask me to go home." It was Sylvia who cleaned the place with the help of the aunties.

“How did you know | was coming back today?"

Sylvia pinched the girl's nose. "Your manager told me."

Isabel chuckled.

Carla and the bodyguards left the mother and daughter alone.

Isabel hugged her mother tightly. "Mom, | missed you." Sylvia patted the girl's head and said, "I know. | know. Mom misses you

too.’
