Judy was the first to rush forward. “Adam, Merry Christmas! I wish you and your wife a sweet and blissful life, and I hope you’ll give me a nephew or niece soon.”

Adam handed out the gift bags to Leonard, Laura, and the others one by one. The recipients of the gift bags were all delighted. “Thank you, Mr. Hills! Wishing Hills Group continued success under your leadership!”

Adam nodded his head and finally handed the last and largest gift bag to Lumma with great care. “Lumma, I hope all your wishes come true!”

“Thank you, Mr. Hills!” Lumma gratefully accepted the gift bag, holding it tightly with a wide smile adorning her rosy cheeks. “I also wish you all the best! May your marriage be filled with love and harmony, and may your love endure for eternity!”

Adam gently replied, “We will.”

Lumma clutched the gift bag tightly, unwilling to let it go. It felt weighty, and she was eager to open it immediately. However, she felt a twinge of shyness and decided to set the gift box aside for the moment, planning to open it later in her room

After all the gifts were distributed, everyone continued eating barbecue and watching the evening show.

The show wasn’t particularly captivating, and by the end of it, there were only a few memorable performances.

Despite the show’s lack of excitement, it had become an annual tradition that everyone adhered to. Gathering around for a Christmas dinner seemed to capture the true essence of the holiday.
