Chapter 1950

Fat Jim stood stunned momentarily, then turned to his trusted subordinate. The guy shrugged, indicating he didn't know what was happening either. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Fat Jim then looked at the man again. "What's the meaning of this?"

"This person is yours." The man chuckled. "You just mentioned that this is a different price?"

"Um..."

"I'm giving you this person for free," the man said, looking at Fat Jim. "He's in excellent health. His annual check-ups show all his readings are perfect."

The bound person had a cloth stuffed in his mouth, making muffled sounds while glaring resentfully at the man. The man turned and harshly slapped him across the face.

"There are many useful things in him! Such a good container of organs is right in front of you. Do you still want to name another price?"

"Well..." Fat Jim grinned, his eyes shining with avarice.

Indeed, the captive was sturdy, struggling up from the floor several times, although the man pushed him back down each time. This indicated his good health. Placed in a boxing ring, he might even be the next Morpheus.

However, the income from a single match paled in comparison to the price of an organ.

Fat Jim's grin turned more sinister. To him, the organ trade was like watching pigs run—he hadn't eaten pork himself, but he had seen pigs running and others pinning them down to eat.

He had waited too long for this opportunity. It seemed he had pleased some lucky stars today. It truly was a case of sincerity opening the doors of chances. He was blessed with this huge fortune!

"Well... thank you, sir!" Fat Jim smiled fawningly.

A malevolent glint flashed in the man's eyes. He abruptly tugged the cloth from the captive's mouth. The captive instantly let out an angry roar akin to a trapped beast. "You animal! You're not human!"

The man, expressionless, watched him go mad. After a while, he smiled.

"You... You traitor!"

"Sorry." The man squatted down, gripped the captive's throat, and enunciated each word, "In everyone else's eyes, you're the traitor. Hahaha!"

"You... You'll meet a terrible end!"

"A terrible end?" The man sneered. "Even if you scream for retribution, will God grant it to you?"

"You—" Before he could speak more, the man crumpled the torn cloth and stuffed it back into his mouth.
