Edmond and Alicia were sitting at opposite ends of the couch.

He held an ice pack to his face while she folded her arms across her chest with an angry expression on her face.

"How did you get in here anyway?" Alicia asked.

"Your password was pretty easy to guess."

"If you don't leave right now, I'll call the police."

"We're legally married."

"So what? Even if I can't sue you for trespassing, I can sue you for assault."

"Well, given the current situation, the judge will only rule in my favor on the domestic violence charge."

Alicia was speechless.

Despite being beaten up, Edmond wasn't angry. Instead, he had a playful expression on his face and lazily said, "My mom wants us to have a child."

"Why?"

"Edmond Agos, I hope you understand that everything between us is just a temporary arrangement. When the time is up, this will be over. You don't have to turn an agreement into something real."

"Are you offering me another deal?"

"No, no matter how much money you offer, I won't have sex with you."

"You're scared."

Alicia didn't want to continue this conversation.

"Are you leaving or not?"

Edmond didn't ask any more questions and casually put down the ice pack, then left Alicia's apartment.

Alicia went back to her room, unable to sleep, so she went to the study to do some business.
