Intimate
“So, the little kid dared to threaten a Luca Guzman?”© NôvelDrama.Org - All rights reserved.
The voice was so calm, yet filled with a heart-pounding threat that could send shivers down anyone’s spine. Instantly, an oppressive atmosphere filled the workspace belonging to the head of the Sicilian clan. Rodrigo, his assistant, was already prepared to face the storm that was about to come.
After finishing their served breakfast, one of Luca’s subordinates contacted the old man. They reported that their mission to harm Kaivan and Anne had completely failed. Even the eldest son of the Maximilian family dared to issue a serious threat to the Sicilian Clan if they were to bother him again. Kaivan never played games. What he said, he would undoubtedly prove. Just like the incident that had happened before. How that young man had bravely opposed and even attempted to destroy the businesses managed by the Sicilian Clan.
Luca gritted his teeth strongly. His chest seemed to roar. He resembled a fierce lion ready to pounce and crush his enemy’s bones at any moment.
“Rodrigo,” Luca called.
Rodrigo, who was standing right behind Luca, swiftly stepped forward. He approached the leader of the Sicilian Clan and bowed his head respectfully. His demeanor indicated readiness to receive orders.
“What do you want me to do this time, sir?” he replied quickly.
A long exhale of breath could be heard. If Rodrigo noticed, Luca seemed to be weighing something. Perhaps the old man was considering what task to assign this time.
“Gather all the best people we have. Remember! Everyone.”
In his standing position, Rodrigo frowned in puzzlement. He tried to understand the newly given order. In his mind, he wondered what Luca intended by assembling the best people within the Sicilian Clan.
“Are we going to war, sir?” the man asked, innocently. Oh my goodness! Rodrigo cursed himself for inadvertently asking such a question.
Meanwhile, Luca himself seemed to lean his back against the backrest of his chair, seeking the most comfortable sitting position.
“Deploy the best people we have to expedite the search for Giorgino,” he commanded. “Spread them out in every direction, even to the darkest corners. I want you to bring Giorgino to me by the end of this week. If necessary, seek help from the Sinaloa Cartel to assist us.”
The Sinaloa Cartel was a feared mafia group in Mexico. Led by Joaquin, this cartel was notorious for being responsible for the deaths of thousands, including American citizens.
For a while, this cartel had been collaborating with the Sicilian Clan. Requesting help from them could potentially make the work of the Sicilian operatives easier in locating Giorgino quickly.
“And what about Giorgino’s daughter in the Neutral Zone? Wasn’t she our target?”
Still wearing a curious expression, Rodrigo finally gathered his courage to ask. It took quite a bit of bravery to inquire of Luca, who was known for being temperamental.
“Yes, you are correct. But I have a plan that’s far more advantageous.” The old man then smiled cunningly. There was a significant plan that he was formulating. “We’ll capture Giorgino as soon as possible, then use that damn agent as bait to bring his daughter to our headquarters.”
Rodrigo’s eyes widened in understanding. He finally grasped the purpose behind their leader’s decision to mobilize their best forces. Clearly, there was a grand plan behind it all.
“And if we’re all focused on finding Giorgino, what about his daughter? Do we need to launch another attack afterward?”
Luca raised his index finger and wiggled it in the air while shaking his head slowly.
“No need. Just give some time for Kaivan and Giorgino’s daughter to enjoy themselves for a few days. There will be a surprise for them before we initiate the real showdown.” A wide grin was unmistakably etched on the middle-aged man’s face.
Rodrigo could only nod. Years of service to Luca had made him understand that any order given by his boss was akin to an irrefutable command. Therefore, without a trace of doubt on his face, Rodrigo immediately set out to execute what had been instructed.
“Well then, I’ll gather all the best people we have, sir. I’ll spread them out across the entire country. If there’s any new information, I’ll report it immediately.”
Luca then waved his hand in the air, signaling for Rodrigo to leave his presence.

Anne was concentrating on changing the bandages to cover the scars and abrasions on Kaivan’s arms and chest. Due to the brawl yesterday, several parts of his body were bruised and injured. Because of this incident, Anne felt guilty again. It was undoubtedly her fault that this attack had happened.
“Are you okay?” Anne asked after finishing cleaning the wound on Kaivan’s left chest. The bruising was quite evident in that area.
“I’m used to this,” Kaivan replied casually. “Long before, I even had to be hospitalized for serious injuries.”
“Oh my God,” Anne exclaimed. “Forgive me. This is all happening because they’re targeting me,” she whispered. She felt truly uncomfortable with what happened to her husband.
“No need to exaggerate,” Kaivan emphasized. “I told you, I’m fine.”
After cleaning the wounds all over Kaivan’s body, Anne immediately got up. She placed the medicine kit she had brought back in the drawer and then prepared to take a shower.
“I’ll take a quick shower,” she said. “After that, I’ll wipe you down like I did this morning.”
“Anne…” Kaivan sighed softly. “I’ve already said I’m fine. I can take a shower like usual.”
Anne didn’t care. Instead of listening to her husband’s protests, she walked casually towards the bathroom.
While waiting for Anne, who was busy cleaning herself, Kaivan chose to change his position to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed and checked his phone. He was afraid that there might be missed calls or messages he hadn’t responded to.
As he glanced through the incoming messages, Kaivan’s ears caught a sound coming from Anne’s phone, which was lying untouched on the nightstand. There was an incoming call from an unknown number.
Initially, Kaivan seemed indifferent. However, the unknown number continued to call, maybe more than five times. Curiosity getting the better of him, Kaivan moved closer. He reached for the smart device with the intention of answering the call.
However, instead of a call, this time a text message appeared on Anne’s phone. Kaivan could even clearly read the message displayed on the screen without having to open it.
Day after tomorrow, I’ll be at your hotel. You must meet me. I really miss you.
Kaivan raised both his eyebrows, trying to guess who had actually sent his wife that text message.
Before his curiosity could wane, another message came in. This time, the short message slightly startled him.
Are you ready? Remember, we have to leave soon.
Kaivan immediately squeezed Anne’s phone after reading what was displayed on the screen. In an instant, he felt fear and anxiety. Just when he had begun to open his heart and had even started to feel happiness with Anne, he was confronted with the reality that she would be leaving.
“You can’t leave, Anna Maria,” he murmured. “You can’t leave me. I’ll do whatever it takes to make you stay by my side.”
At the same time, Anne emerged from the bathroom, holding a wet towel in her right hand. Luckily, Kaivan had managed to put his wife’s phone back where it was before. He then tried to put on a calm expression, acting as if nothing had happened.
“Take off your clothes,” Anne said. Still wearing a bathrobe, she walked toward Kaivan. “I’ll wipe you down.”
Without many words, Kaivan obeyed Anne’s command. He removed all his clothes and allowed his wife to carefully clean his body.
“Tomorrow, I want to take you out for a walk,” Kaivan mumbled. He spoke a little softly.
“What?” Anne immediately lifted her head. “A walk, you said?” Anne asked to confirm. “Where do you want to take me? Besides, isn’t it dangerous? Just yesterday we almost lost our lives,” she protested. In her mind, until all the issues with the Sicilian mafia were resolved, it seemed she wouldn’t be free to do anything outside. Moreover, Anne didn’t want to take risks that could endanger her and Kaivan’s lives.
“Calm down.” He tried to reassure her. “I can guarantee that tomorrow not a single evil person will disturb us.”
“Why are you so confident that they won’t attack again?” Anne asked, squinting her eyes. She was skeptical about what her husband was saying. If they counted, the mafia had almost taken their lives twice already.
“You heard it yourself, yesterday I gave them a strong warning.”
“And you’re sure they’ll heed your threat?”
Kaivan smiled and nodded confidently.
“Of course, I’m sure. If you’re unsure, I’ll ask Dominique and his men to accompany us from a distance. I’ll do anything to make you feel comfortable and safe when we go out tomorrow.”
Anne fell silent for a moment. She appeared to be considering whether to accept Kaivan’s invitation this time. Because honestly, the fear and anxiety still lingered within her. For God’s sake, she didn’t want anything bad to happen to her husband again.
“We’ll be fine, honey.” Kaivan once again tried to reassure his wife.
After taking a deep breath and not long after, Anne reluctantly nodded. The woman agreed to Kaivan’s invitation to go out.
“But promise that we both will be okay.”
Kaivan gently stroked Anne’s fine hair that was flowing down. Offering a thin smile, he then nodded in agreement.
“I promise, we both will be okay.”
Kaivan’s hands didn’t stop at Anne’s hair alone. A moment later, he brought his hand to softly caress his wife’s cheek.
Anne blinked. The touch of his hand actually made her feel comfortable. Especially when Kaivan deliberately stroked the nape of Anne’s neck. She had to close her eyes, succumbing to the enjoyment of the caress.
Anne couldn’t even avoid it when Kaivan aggressively pressed his lips against hers. It was persistent, devouring, even kissing. He enjoyed the tenderness brought by his wife’s lips. Encouraging her to do the same. And it seemed like Kaivan succeeded. As he felt Anne’s hands, which were originally on his shoulders, slowly moving to encircle his neck.
Sweet, intoxicating, and full of passion. Those three words might describe what they both were feeling. Therefore, without breaking the kiss, Kaivan again used his hand to try and remove the bathrobe Anne was wearing. Leaving her bare in front of him.
Then, without hesitation, Kaivan slowly guided Anne to lie down. The next moment, he resumed tracing his lips along the curve of her neck, her back, and every part he favored. For some reason, to Kaivan, Anne’s body became more addictive day by day. Being the woman he touched for the first time, it made him feel utterly captivated.
Anne herself smiled silently. Enjoying how Kaivan continued to adore every part of her body. How he treated her gently and tenderly on the bed.
“Never leave my side,” Kaivan whispered amidst the surge of passion enveloping him. The statement was like the most serious plea he had ever uttered.
Meanwhile, Anne, with whatever sanity she had left, tried to respond to Kaivan’s words. Still gasping for breath, she softly replied, “I won’t leave your side.”
“Do you promise?”
In the embrace of Kaivan’s body, Anne nodded. “I told you before, if you ask me to stay, I’ll stay. But if you ask me to go, I assure you, you’ll never see me again.”
Kaivan grinned widely. He then pulled his wife closer until their bodies were pressed together without any distance. Making Anne clearly feel the warmth emanating from his body, which then enveloped her.
Without hesitation, both of them resumed their intimate embrace. Offering satisfaction to each other. Repeating the intimacy they shared like the nights before. Making this activity a habit that couldn’t be missed. Who knows how long this intimacy will continue in their relationship. Certainly, only time can answer that. What’s for sure is that Kaivan never wants all of this to end just like that.
