CHAPTER 34

Dua was in the kitchen. She was making coffee. Her body was suddenly craving for it. At 3AM. She

was beating the coffee. When she began to feel being watched. The hairs on her neck stood erect. It

was really hard that dua could sense anything behind her. Her reflex and senses don't coordinate really

well. But today all of sudden she was felling really suspicious. Nôvel/Dr(a)ma.Org - Content owner.

"Stranger." Dua said and turned. She check to her left and right but no one was there. She left a breath

that she didn't knew she was holding. She turned back and began to focus on her task again.

She was now adding milk in a cup. She placed the milk bottle down on the counter.

Suddenly her alarm went all high. Her heart beat was running double it's normal. She was completely

frozen on her place. She heard footsteps. Someone was right behind her. A hand draped on her waist

and picked her up and twirled her around. Dua was having a heart attack. She felt like a doll being

picked up twirled around. She was having a panic attack. The person let her back on the ground with

it's hand on her waist. It made her turned around slowly.

Dua's eyes popped out of there sockets. Her hands automatically went to her chest in order to calm her

heartbeats. As she realized who was in front of her. Whom she was least expect to see.

It was him. It was armaan.

"You...you made me scare. You... when did you came. Why didn't you informed me. I... you." She

began her ranting but stopped as armaan engulfed her in her arms.

She wasn't mad at him, not any more. she hugged him back. A tear slipped her eyes and landed on

armaan's shoulder. After a while which felt like infinity they parted apart.

"Well. I wanted to inform you but my phone's battery was dead. And surprise." Armaan squealed on his

last word.

"What are you doing in the kitchen it's late you must be sleeping. Why are you awake." He asked dua.

She smiled as she answered. " I was making coffee. Couldn't sleep."

"Well, let's get some sleep I am very tired." He said.

Both of them carried armaan's luggage to armaan's room.

Armaan just crashed down on his bed like a child coming after a long day in school.

"You. Mr. Get up and go change first. Might take a shower too." Dua said coming and sitting beside him

on the bed.

A grown left armaan's mouth. "I am too tired to move even an inch." He said.

"You weren't tired to scare me." Dua said.

"It was worth it. I saw you in the kitchen and it was perfect. You should have seen your face." He said

looking at her.

"Yet you didn't laugh." She asked him.

" I have seen that face many times. That's why. And the smile that came to your face made me smile."

Armaan said.

Dua blushed hard on his comments. Armaan shot up from his place and sat in front of her. Making a

direct eye contact with her.

"Tell me dua. Did you miss me." He asked her.

Dua was looking everywhere except back at me. With her red cheeks.

Armaan was watching her get nervous with amusement. He began to smirk. His signature one.

Dua swallowed a lump in her throat before she spoke up. "You. Go have a shower."

"Not the answer I was looking for." He said.

"Armaan." She yelled at him with annoyed expression.

"Okay. Okay. Fine I'll stop now. But one condition." He said. Dua looked up at him. "I am hungry. I want

that turkey sandwich. Nothing else." He said.

'Some is fan of your cooking' dua's subconscious said to her.

"Fine. I will. But go have a shower and then come down." She said.

A goofy smile appeared on his face. He got up and walked towards the bathroom to have a shower.

While dua went down to made her husband a sandwich.

"You won't go for office then." Dua asked from the table to armaan who was stuffing his mouth with the

sandwich.

'Does he really like it.' She began to wonder.

"Yes. I need an holiday after working these lot. And also I want to see ammi abba. I brought gifts for

them." He said with food still in his mouth.

Dua began to wonder if he bought her a gift. Or he forgot about her.

"Where did you lost now" armaan said looking at dua who zoned out.

"No where." She said taking a sip from her coffee dramatically.

The rest of the conversation included armaan talking about japan and some other stuffs. Dua told him

that his gym was fixed completely.

When armaan was done with his sandwich. They plan to go sleep. Armaan helped dua clean the

dishes.

"You know armaan watching me working is not a way of helping." Dua said placing the now clean plate

back to it's place.

"Yeah. But it's kind of satisfying." He said.

"You are weird" she said whipping her hands with a towel.

"It's not weird it's like some people watch ASMR videos or some people play with slime for satisfaction

it's similar." He said thinking very hardly.

" I was right you are weird." Dua said and yawned.

"Look's like our princess is sleepy." Armaan said as another yawn left dua's mouth.

"Yeah. Let's go." She said.

Armaan took her hand in his and began walking back to his room.

It wasn't the first time they would be sleeping on the same bed. But still dua was happy. Like a child on

Christmas.
