Chapter-63: She is my mother
Allison blinked up at Lyceon but didn't dare to retort at this situation with everyone around. She cleared her throat and murmured, "Alpha had burnt my home.." Her voice cracked recalling the warmth of her small cozy home which was built by her parents.
"That bastard!" Mason gritted from behind. Allison bit her lip, nodded and looked at her brother.
"But Nora told me that she managed to take hold of a few things out of my room when she saw the place was on fire. She grabbed some precious things she thought I would want by sneakily invading through the window of my burning room." She said with a proud face for her friend who always helped her.
Mason nodded and gave her a comforting smile. "Then we should head to Nora's home!"
Aztec ears perked hearing his statement. He could test if Allison's friend was his mate or not. Because he couldn't smell his mate's scent among the people gathered around. And he was hell-sure that the girl might be from this pack. So he followed them to her home.
"I don't know if she is here. I tried calling her but she didn't pick up my calls in the morning." Allison sighed, still walking towards her home. They reached the place and realised that the main door was locked from outside. Aztec was disappointed as he couldn't get to see her. "Where did they go?" "Do you know someone else here?" Lyceon asked her beside her. Allison thought about it and then nodded. She decided to go to her other friend's home which was just behind Nora's home.
"What is your friend doing inside when everyone is out enjoying the whole show?" Aztec asked her, sighing. Allison ignored him and rang the doorbell. She knew Noah lived alone here as his parents retired from their duties and were always on and off to the pack while enjoying their vacations.
On the third bell, Noah opened the door with sleepy eyes and looked at Allison but as soon as he spotted Lyceon standing beside Allison, his eyes widened in fear and in the next second, his legs shook with terror. He still was not over that bloodbath by Lyceon on the battlefield. It printed his mind permanently as he was the only survivor whom Lyceon spared to give the message to Alpha Ralph.
"Ah! He was sleeping soundly!" Aztec commented.
"Ali...." Noah whispered in confusion and astonishment. Lyceon smirked seeing his condition. He remembered Noah very well who literally peed in his pants when He gave him the first hit.
"I guess you are doing well, pup!" Lyceon mocked.
"K...King!" Noah bowed immediately with fear and respect. Allison gave an irritating look to Lyceon for frightening and intimidating her friend.
"Noah, can we come inside?" Allison asked. He nodded mutely and stepped aside. But his eyes widened seeing Mason alive in front of his eyes. Mason hit his shoulder with a small laugh. "What's up, buddy?"
"Mason.. you are alive!" Noah cried out and hugged him with happiness.
"I just wanted to see his innocent face turning into a puppy if he had witnessed his Alpha's colourful demise." Aztec sighed in dismay and rolled his eyes.
Allison looked at Aztec with the same look she gave to Lyceon and gaped at both of them. Why were they pulling the poor guy down? They walked inside, following Noah.
"Where did Nora and her family go, do you know anything, Noah?" Noah frowned at Allison's inquiry.
"You don't know? Her parents sent her to her mother's family a few days ago. Because Alpha Ralph ordered her family to do so. As everyone came to know she has been in contact with you and trying to get you out of the......" He clamped his mouth shut seeing Lyceon who was glancing at his surroundings with a vigilant gaze.
"Uh... so he punished her and Naomi for supporting you and prohibited them from keeping any contact with you and sent them away for a few days with a strict warning." He finished his sentence carefully not wanting to be the victim of the Dark Lord again by any chance.
Allison nodded sadly. That's why they were not receiving her calls. The Alpha might have warned them with their lives or banishment, she knew his tactics.
"But.... but she gave me a bag of your things before going...wait here. I will be back." Noah strode to his room to fetch the black tote bag.
"You wanna see her?" Lyceon asked her carefully. Allison looked at him knowing very well about what He was talking about. He would definitely yank her friend back out of any corner of the world. She knew his capability.
"I want to." Her eyes fell on the black tote bag which she gifted to Nora on her birthday and she smiled.
"She asked me to send you this bag anyhow without anyone's knowledge. It's good that you came here yourself." Noah said before handing her the bag.

"Thank you, Noah!" She opened the bag and glanced at the stuff inside. She rummaged through the things with the hope to find something precious to her.
Allison sighed deeply when her hand took hold of the book her mother gave to her. She smiled and pulled it out of the bag. Mason took a bag from her to look for other things. At least they managed to get their parents' memories through these belongings, all thanks to Nora.
A photo fell out of the book as Allison opened it. Lyceon, who was standing behind her, glanced at it and picked it up from the floor.
He stared at the gorgeous couple in the photo. He reckoned it was her parents and was about to give it back to Allison but then something caught his eyes.
He neared the photo to his eyes as the beautiful pairs of emerald eyes beamed at him. He turned shocked, utterly shocked.
'You will see me...'
The faded voice sounded in his ears as He kept staring at the familiar woman in the photo.
"She is..."
"My mother!" Allison smiled, looking at the smiling face of her mother in the photo.
'You will see me again through Her...Lyceon!'
And his eyes swirled with white waves when the glimpse from a past flashed in his numb mind, turning his every prediction wrong.
