Luna Of The 115
HELGA COULDNT rid herself of the uneasy sensation that had consumed her earlier during her encounter with Demian Despite being in the comfort of her own room now, she still shuddered at the repulsive way he had gazed at her. The thought alone made her skin crawl, and she hoped to never have to experience it again. "Your father's weird," she blurted out, her words hanging in the air as she turned to Riovanni who shut the door behind him, his frown deepening at her observation. "The intensity of his gaze made me uneasy. It seemed like he had no intention of getting rid of me... I feel like he had a different plan in mind," "I know, I noticed it too, which is why we need to be careful, he sighed as he carefully set down the Helga's belongings in her new room. He had made sure to choose one close to his own determined to keep her safe from any harm. At first, he was worried that his father would question his decision but when he explained why and told his plan to make Helga bait to lure her parents out, Demian surprisingly didn't protest. Instead, he agreed to his decision and planned to use Helga. However, Riovanni still couldn't shake off the uneasy feeling that lingered in the pit of his stomach, knowing full well the lengths his father was willing to go to for a woman who caught his attention
"I need you to promise me something. No matter what happens, do not leave this room. My father has his eye on you, and I can tell he's intrigued. He won't kill you, but there are things worse than death that he might do to you. I have a feeling about it: trust me. Riovanni warned. His tone had grown serious, and Helga looked at him curiously as a chill ran down her spine. "Do you recall the illegal activities I mentioned that he was doing before? You could potentially be a target, which is why I advise staying in this room. Also, I am the only person you can rely on here, so please heed my words." Helga nodded reluctantly, her fist slowly curling itself up at the thought of Demian doing horrendous things to her. She had always known that the previous Lycan King was a cruel and ruthless man, especially after what he did to her pack. But hearing about his even darker deeds from his own son was enough to make her stomach churn in disgust and her skin "Wouldn't they get suspicious if you keep displaying such an overprotective attitude towards me?" Helga's soft voice spoke upa after a while, watching Riovanni sit on the sofa and rest his back against it, seemingly lost in his own thoughts. "They sure will, but as long as we do a good job in deceiving them, we'll be okay?" he replied, looking at her, "I might treat you a little harshly from time to time to show that I was't really being protective, rather I was only keeping a close watch on you to make sure you wouldn't do anything reckless"
"I'm fine with that, but you're a king and you can't possibly have all the time to watch me yourself." Helga approached the sofa across from him and sank into it. The journey to Narva, despite it being a neighboring country of Verdentia, had been long and exhausting for her, leaving her feeling drowsy. She thought that for someone who rarely traveled, it was normal to feel this exhausted. Or perhaps the pressure of returning to her former home and facing the Lycan who killed her pack was taking its toll. "We need to secure my safety, a hundred percent." she sighed, closing her eyes for a moment before opening them when Riovanni spoke.
"Do you have any better suggestions on how we are going to do that without raising suspicion?" he looked at her, and as she gazed at him, she noticed the familiar features of his father in his eyes. But there was a gentleness and kindness in them that vermed
A sense of familiarity and relief washed over her for being in his presence, she felt like as long as she was by Riovanni's side, she would be safe, and she hoped he wouldn't betray this newfound trust and security she had in him.Text property © Nôvel(D)ra/ma.Org.
"How about chaining me?" she said, causing Riovanni to look at her as if she had sprouted another head. "What? I know it may sound absurd, but I honestly don't have a problem with being chained. If that would ensure my absolute safety, I wouldn't mind wearing a collar either. As far as I'm concerned, tam supposed to be a prisoner right now"
"I understand what you mean by that, but your husband would be furious if he knew I chained you up, let alone had put a collar on you" Riovanni tried to reason, but the thought of that actually happening was already giving him a headache. It was evident to him that Siegren's feelings for Helga were grimine. He would do anything for her, even

burn the world for her. If he were to agree to her suggestion and the Alpha King learned about it, he might also kill him during the attack that would happen soon.
"Besides, I don't feel right doing that to you. You may be a captive, but that doesn't change the fact that you're still the Queen of Verdentia" he added, hoping his words would prompt her to offer an alternative solution. No matter how he contemplated it, the idea of chaining her up did not sit well with him, even if it ensured her safety. "Then how about-Helga's words caught in her throat as a wave of nausea swept over her. She clamped a hand over her mouth, trying to suppress the sudden urge to vomit. Just then, Riovanni rose from his seat and gracefully sat beside her. wondering if the stressful events were taking a toll on her. After all, he knew it wasn't easy for her to be here, let alone meet the person who wipeed out her pack
"What's wrong?" he asked as he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, concern etched on his features. She didn't respond immediately, feeling her heart racing as she contemplated just how sick she might be. At that moment, she took note of every sensation, waiting to see if the nausea would pass or escalate into something worse. When the feeling subsided, she slowly removed her hand from her mouth and turned to face Riovanni when he spoke again.
"A-are you pregnant?"A sudden chill ran down Helga's spine as the words reached her ears. Her heartbeat started picking up its pace again in response to the memory of her recent symptoms. Dizziness, unexplained drowsiness, and now an overwhelming sense of nausea. She couldn't help but feel her stomach twisted into knots. Although she would be filled with joy if she were to discover that she was indeed pregnant, she couldn't shake off the worry that the timing wasn't quite right. Her mind raced with a thousand thoughts, causing her head to spin. Just then, another wave of nausea swept over her, forcing her to sprint towards the bathroom with a sense of urgency. She could feel the churning in her stomach, and the acidic taste in her mouth as the thought of pregnancy filled her mind. It was starting to overwhelm her, causing the walls of the bathroom to spin and sway, echoing the dizziness in her head. With shaky hands, she reached for the cold porcelain sink, gripping it rightly as she waited for the sickness to pass. Sweat beaded on her forehead and her breath came out in ragged gasps, her eyes meeting Riovanni's reflection in the mirror. He was patting her back with panic filling his expression.
"I'm going to call for a doctor tomorrow to confirm whether you're pregnant or not!
