Redmption 200

Chapter 200

I had spent so much effort trying to get a ride in the car. It was a surprise that my wish was easily accomplished. But to get the address I wanted required a more detailed plan. Belongs to © n0velDrama.Org.

“Stewart, can you pull over? I feel sick, and I need to vomit,” I said, feigning discomfort when I spotted a pharmacy along the way.

“Sure, sure,” Stewart replied as he glanced at me through the rearview mirror.

The car stopped. Stewart nervously checked on me. “Maddie, how are you feeling? Do you need to go to the hospital?”

“I think it’s the coffee Zack made that upset my stomach.” I leveraged Zack’s name to make Stewart more concerned.

I clutched my belly and continued, “Stewart, could you get me some omeprazole? I might feel better after taking a pill.”

Stewart nodded repeatedly, but he still looked worried. “Maybe we should go to the hospital?”

I didn’t speak, but Stewart instantly understood.

He knew my status well over the years at the Gildon family. Even when I was no longer with Chris, he wouldn’t dare to take me lightly.

Stewart quickly got out of the car. I added to buy more time, “Stewart, could you also get me a bottle of water?”

“Cold water makes stomach aches worse. There’s warm water in the car. I’ll pour you a cup when I get back.” Stewart was still worriedly looking over as he headed toward the pharmacy.

I quietly got up after seeing Stewart rush off. I leaned over and opened the navigation route history.

It was nerve–wracking to engage in such stealthy activities. My heart was pounding.

I feared Stewart might return any time, so I kept glancing outside while browsing the navigation records. Fortunately, getting to the pharmacy required crossing a railing, so Stewart would take some time.

I quickly skimmed through the navigation routes. Strangely, I couldn’t find it even after going through routes from a month ago.

Could I have been mistaken?

I refused to give up and kept searching, but Stewart was already returning with the medicine.

My heartbeat accelerated as I alternated between looking out for Stewart and scrolling through the records. Suddenly, a private route entered my sight.

Normal routes wouldn’t be marked private unless someone wanted to keep them secret.

thad a hunch that this was the sanatorium I was looking for. But since it was private, I needed a password which I had no clue about.

Had Stewart set the password since he drove the car?

I pondered for several seconds and decided that Zack had most likely come up with the password.

After all, he owned the car and decided where it went. Stewart was just a chauffeur following instructions.

With that, I was going to input the password but refrained from making blind guesses. I had three chances, so if I got them wrong, it would lock and alert Zack.

What could Zack’s password be?

As I mulled it over, I watched Stewart approach. He had crossed the railing and was less than two minutes away, but I had yet to figure out the password.

I broke out in a nervous sweat. If I missed the opportunity, it would be harder to get a second try.

I decided to give it a shot. Since Zack loved Bree, I tried Bree’s birthday. But it wasn’t the password.

I gasped. Stewart was now less than a hundred meters away.

I closed my eyes and concentrated. I believed the password was related to Bree, so I tried their wedding anniversary next. Again, it was the wrong password.

Fear and urgency rose within me. I had one last chance. Another attempt would lock the address, but if I didn’t try, I would lose the opportunity.

Stewart was less than fifty meters away. I could almost even sense his gaze through the tinted windows.

I desperately searched my memory and recalled something Chris had mentioned. He told me that his parents never played favorites and used both his and Conrad’s birthdays as bank passwords.
