“Are you coming? If you don’t, I won’t tell my parents,” Ethan teased, twirling the car keys in his hand with a hint of mischief.
Dominick looked up, then suddenly tossed the pillow in his hand towards Ethan’s enticing face.
“Who says I’m not going?”
He thought it was Lola’s welcome party. How could he not go?
He felt that even though she was no longer his Lola, getting to know her again was the best outcome.
“What were you daydreaming about? I was talking to you just now, didn’t you hear?”

He was just thinking, would Lola also look at him lovingly when she got engaged to someone else?
“If you keep dwelling on the past, it’s meaningless.” Ethan seemed to know what Dominick was thinking.
Dominick felt like Ethan was implying something, but it wasn’t expressed clearly.
“So, what kind of person is Scott?” Dominick changed the subject.
Regarding Scott, Dominick couldn’t see through him.
He was usually good at reading people’s intentions at a glance, but he couldn’t see what Scott was up to.
Ethan raised an eyebrow, leaning back with the pillow Dominick had thrown at him earlier.
“He’s a very refined person, at least he used to be. You don’t need to worry about him doing anything to Layla, but I’m not sure about others.”
Ethan’s words were clear, and Dominick nodded thoughtfully.
“Are you worried he’ll do something to me?”
Ethan had been thinking about this for a long time but never had the chance to say it.
“The Jensen family’s power in this country is even greater than what you see. Do you think a family that can form an alliance with the Lewis family would be ordinary?
“Scott must have investigated your past with Layla. I’m afraid he might…”
Ethan’s concern was not unfounded. After a long separation, the last thing he wanted was an accident.
Scott was well aware of Dominick’s place in Lola’s heart. Now, Dominick was like a thorn to Scott.
Dominick suddenly smiled contemptuously, his eyes filled with disdain. “Do you think I have nothing left just because the Sinclair family has fallen?
“It seems necessary to take you to my company.” Dominick raised an eyebrow gracefully and got up.

Ethan knew Dominick had a trump card, but looking at his expression, he thought this trump card seemed to be Dominick’s true strength, even greater than he imagined.
Henry arrived at the villa after receiving a call. Dominick had already decided that he would probably spend most of his days in this country, so he bought a villa.

“Isn’t this Sylvanor Group? It’s the best and most powerful place around here. Do you have a partnership with this company?”
Dominick smiled meaningfully and got out of the car.
“You’ll see when you get down.”
Ethan was baffled. He wondered why Dominick still played coy.
He got out of the car and looked around. On the towering building was a bright letter L.
Ethan was slightly stunned. “What’s going on? Isn’t this Sylvanor Group? Yes, this place is Sylvanor Group. When did they change to this
letter?”
Dominick smiled and chuckled happily, “What do you think L stands for?”
Ethan looked at the letter, then at Dominick, his expression suddenly changing.
“No way. Did you buy this place? Is this going to be your company in the future?”
Dominick didn’t answer, but Ethan found the answer on his face.
It must be true!
“No, what real power do you have? I thought even though the Sinclair Group went bankrupt, after all these years, you should have saved up quite a bit of money for yourself. But what kind of power is it that allows you to buy out the Sylvanor Group directly?
“I didn’t understand, but I’m greatly impressed.”
Ethan was startled by Dominick. He wondered how much power did he really have.
“I don’t know if you ever heard of the Jaron Group?” Dominick strolled in casually.
Eight bodyguards stood at the door, and upon seeing Dominick, they nodded respectfully.
“Mr. Sinclair!”
This time, Ethan had no doubt that Dominick was joking.
“I have heard of it. Rumor has it that the Jaron Group is very mysterious, but it’s an enormous conglomerate with a wide range of industries. Pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, home appliances, electronics, tourism, entertainment, cinemas… The list goes on. When I

investigated, I was skeptical because I wasn’t sure if there could be a conglomerate that accommodates so many industries.
“Maybe the rumors are exaggerated. Anyway, I don’t believe a single group could accommodate so many industries.”
Listening to Ethan’s description, Dominick chuckled lightly.
“Well, why don’t you think about why I’m asking you this?” Dominick said and got into the elevator.
Ethan stood still for a few seconds, then widened his eyes and caught up.
“Don’t tell me the Jaron Group is yours?”
Dominick raised an eyebrow slightly, didn’t say anything, yet seemed to have said everything.
The expression on Ethan’s face was indescribable. Besides astonishment, he seemed to look at a monster.
Dominick furrowed his brows slightly. “Why are you looking at me like that?”
Ethan clicked his tongue. “I didn’t expect the big shot to be you.
“I even kicked you while you were drunk. You’re not mad, are you?”
Dominick was speechless.
“I didn’t know about that, but now that you’ve said it, I do.”
Ethan was slightly stunned, waved his hand, and chuckled, “Anyway, we’re here. Is the top floor your office?”
Dominick hadn’t planned on doing anything to him, but seeing Ethan deliberately changing the subject, he found it amusing.
“It’s not that I was ignorant. I heard of the Jaron Group a long time ago, but I never thought you would be the president.

“So when you told Heather before that managing the Sinclair Group was purely out of personal favor, you should return to where you should be. Is this where you should be?
“But why is it L on the outside? Did your group change its name?”
