Dominick stopped smiling and looked at Ethan sternly. “I found out that Scott and Jenna have been in contact privately. “They must have some common goal or reached an agreement in some aspect, so I regretted it.
“I don’t trust Lola with Scott anymore. Rather than letting her be with someone else, I’d rather take care of her myself.

starting today. I’ve decided to return to Lola’s side. But don’t worry, I won’t mention a word about the past.”
“You’ve got a point there.” Ethan’s expression darkened. “I just remembered something.
The initiator who persuaded Jenna to return to our family was Scott! I was wondering why he suddenly supported Jenna’s return to our family, and even spoke nicely to Jenna about it. Now, I know why.”
Ethan finally returned to his senses. “I get it now, completely!”

Dominick smirked. “Oh, I just thought about it. I still need your help with Lola and me, so I’ve decided to be nicer to you
from now on.”
Ethan felt like cursing.
“I’ll consider it. Are you trying to bribe me with just a glass of water!”
Dominick lowered his gaze slightly. “About Jenna, don’t tell Lola for now. I’m worried she might reveal that we already know Jenna’s true intentions.
“I need more direct evidence to bring down the Richardson family and Jenna.”
Ethan shook his head. That’s impossible. The Richardson family won’t go down so easily.
“You should find a good time to tell Layla about this. This matter is too complicated, and if we can’t control Jenna, she might tell Layla the things from the past.
“I got it, and I’ll be careful. I’ll head back now.” Dominick stood up and tidied up his attire.
“Oh, and the collaboration–qust continue, and I want Lola to come over and coordinate with me in person
Ethan nodded, then remembered something else. “Wait, if I’ve already publicly broken ties with you to make Jenna show her true colors faster, how can we continue to collaborate?”
This was going to be troublesome.
Dominick looked at him helplessly. “Forget it, I’ll figure something out. Let’s just put on a show tomorrow.”

They were the documents regarding the collaboration project with the Leroy Group that Lola hadn’t discarded.

Ethan wasn’t in a great mood today, and Lola wanted to do something about it.
“Layla, what’s on your mind?” Jenna walked in with a cup of coffee.
“I noticed you’ve been distracted since you came in. Is something bothering you?”

“I heard that Ethan doesn’t want to continue collaborating with the Leroy Group because Dominick betrayed him. Is that
Jenna was probing Ethan’s current attitude.
Lola wasn’t good at lying and simply lowered her head without speaking.
“It seems to be true. Dominick’s true colors have finally been revealed. Layla, be careful when you see him in the future. Don’t trust him easily anymore, okay?”
Since they met, Jenna had been telling her what kind of person Dominick really was and urging her to stay away from him.
Now that even Ethan had severed ties with Dominick, Lola seemed to have no reason to persevere anymore.
Lola tidied up the documents on her desk and threw them into the trash can.
“I know, Ethan has already said we won’t collaborate with the Leroy Group anymore.”
Jenna’s eyes lit up, but she quickly regained her composure.
“Has Ethan decided? That’s good. Even if we collaborate with such people, they’ll be a threat in the future. I’m worried that might happen.”
Lola was in a bad mood and didn’t say anything more.

Ethan’s voice was stern as he walked into the office.
Seeing Jenna, his expression softened slightly. “Since you’re all here, forget it. It’s not a secret anyway. Let me be frank. No matter who the Leroy Group sends, don’t let them in!
“What’s Dominick up to? We need to talk about such an important project, and he had only sent his assistant over. What the hell is that?”
A hint of satisfaction flashed in Jemma’s eyes. I’m afraid Dominick won’t show up anymore.”
Though her voice was low, Ethan heard it clearly.
“What did you say?”
Jenna quickly explained with a smile, “What I mean is that Dominick’s true colors have been exposed. He probably won’t have the nerve to show up in front of us anymore.
“Indeed. I’ve seen through Dominick now.”
Ethan frowned slightly. That assistant even said there’s no problem with this contract and suggested getting it notarized. It’s ridiculous!”
Lola pondered Ethan’s words, feeling that the assistant’s confidence seemed to imply something.
“Or should we hear what the assistant has to say? Ethan, don’t get 100 worked up. Didn’t you tell me not to make decisions when I’m emotional?”
Everything seemed to be unfolding as Jenna had predicted. Hearing Lola’s words, Jenna’s face darkened slightly.
“Layla, don’t you trust us? Don’t overthink it. Didn’t you already throw away the contract?”
Lola looked at Ethan, trying to gauge his opinion.
“We’ll just talk. Nothing unexpected will happen, right?”
Lola didn’t know why she was insisting, but based on her intuition, she wanted to know what the assistant had to say.
