Belle was asleep on the bed again when someone shook her roughly. She woke up immediately and met Crow’s threatening eyes, it made her heart skip and she immediately sat up.

When Crow saw that she was awake, he set a new takeaway dish on the stool, squatting right next to the bed and looking her in the eyes to scare her more.

“Eat. This won’t be like last night, if you don’t eat, I’d make you. The boss says you need to be okay while you are here, and I have to follow that order. Don’t make me come back here and force you to eat, it won’t be fun.” He used simple words to make his threats to her.

He wouldn’t care if she ate or not but they had been given orders by the person who paid them to kidnap her; One of those orders was to make sure she was fed and treated right so he had to do just that.

Not waiting for a word from Belle, he left the room. Belle closed her eyes, a little bit of sleepiness still there. She was hungry but she didn’t want to eat what they were giving to her.

‘Why would the person who wants me kidnapped care that I am fed.’ She asked herself. For all she knew, that wasn’t how a kidnap was supposed to be unless they were trying to poison her, and if not that then probably another reason.

She had made up her mind, she wasn’t going to eat even if she was starving. She had not eaten since the day now that she was brought here, she hoped help came soon. She hoped somehow the police found her. She hoped Ben found her, somehow. She fell back to the bed, closing her eyes tiredly, and feeling dizzy.NôvelDrama.Org (C) content.

She sat up after some seconds, she was hungry, very hungry. One more stare at the takeaway on the stool, she sighed and went for it.

Crow was sitting in front of a screen in another room, watching Belle as she picked up the food.

“Did she agree to eat something yet?” Tiger came in and sat on a free chair, taking off his mask as he asked.

“She’s about to eat the salad I got her.” Crow clicked on the mouse on the desktop to zoom in on Belle in the room.

They saw her unwrap the packaged dish containing the salad but were surprised to see her keep it back on the stool.

She walked to the left part of the room where the camera was located and started to wave at it.

“Hello? Whoever is watching right now, if you can hear me, I don’t like to eat salad.” She said, a bit loudly, hoping they could hear her.

A smile crept up Tiger’s face when he heard her. He found it funny that she thought she had options to pick what she wanted to eat.

“Hello?” She started to wave again.”I know someone is watching… Crow? somebody? Anybody?” Crow’s brows arched when he heard her call him by his name.

“Her audacity,” Crow mentioned.

“You don’t blame her, she’s sleeping with a man who is feared by more than half of the population in city S and across. She most likely is used to getting whatever she wants at the tip of her fingers.” Tiger commented, a smile still on his lips.

“Send Mev to find out what she wants to eat,” Tiger instructed afterward.

“Are you serious?” Crow didn’t want to believe that Tiger was going to get her what she wanted to eat.

“You know how much I hate to repeat myself.” Tiger’s smile disappeared when he said this. Crow didn’t need to be told now that his superior wasn’t joking with what he instructed him to do. Without wasting any more time, Crow stood from where he sat, leaving the room to do as he was told.

As soon as he left, Tiger took over his seat which was directly in front of the wide screen displaying all corners of the room where Belle was left.

Rubbing his chin, he watched her stand there, looking weak and tired. He clicked on the mouse to zoom into her. Staring at the screen more fervently, he couldn’t stop watching her, she was beautiful.

Within his private thoughts, he knew he wanted to be more than just an abductor to Belle. He wished he didn’t meet her this way, he wished he wasn’t hired to keep her here, then he would make a move to get her.

It was more conflicting to him when he found out that his boss wanted her kidnapped because she was too close to Ben Clarkson. It was almost impossible to have an eye for a woman the dreadful Ben Larkson was seeing. He knew he didn’t dare.

Belle felt her eyelids get heavy and heavier, her vision getting blurry with every second that quickly passed. She felt dizzy, her legs felt too weak to keep her standing.

Mev, the woman who had been bringing clothes to her, walked in to do what Crow had just asked her to do; to find out what Belle wanted to eat. As soon as she walked in and the door closed behind her, she saw Belle drop to the ground.

“Shit.” Tiger cursed under his breath and stood from where he sat in the control room, picking up his mask before going to Belle.

“I don’t know what happened, I didn’t do anything to her, I just walked in and she slumped to the ground almost immediately.” Mev started to explain the moment Tiger walked into the room. She knew how well he was paid for Belle’s kidnap and was present when their boss dished out instructions to him. One of those instructions was to make sure nothing happened to Belle while she was held here so she had to explain that she didn’t fault why Belle fainted.

“Get out,” He didn’t want to listen to her now. Picking Belle up from the ground, he laid her on the bed, arranging her head on the pillow.

“Get some water,” He ordered Mev and she quickly left to get some.

“What happened?” It was Crow.

“She passed out.”

“Fuck.” Crow rubbed his hair after he cursed.

“I got the water,” Mev came back in with a bottle of water.

Tiger took it and sprinkled some of it on Belle’s face, and watched her blink her eyes as she sat back up.
