“Good day, sir,” A policeman saluted Ben as he walked into the station. He was escorted to an interrogation room where Tiger was being questioned.

The moment Ben stepped into the room, Tiger wanted to stand and approach him but an officer made him sit back down. His eyes were challenging Ben but he could do nothing as he was being held to the chair by chains.

A proud smile took over Ben’s lips when he saw how badly Tiger wanted to get at him. He was smiling because he knew he had ended his streak of invisibility from the police.

Ben had worked with him before and knew where to find him after he discovered that he was the one in charge of Belle’s kidnap. Tiger’s biggest mistake was agreeing to kidnap Belle because now he was in jail after being able to successfully evade the police for almost a decade; he was in jail, thanks to Ben.

“Did he talk yet?” Ben threw the question to all the officers in the room, his hands in his pocket as he tried to remain calm after remembering what Belle had told him about Tiger.

“Not yet, seems like the person who paid him to do this paid really well.” One of the officers who walked in with him responded.

“No,” Ben disagreed, earning a surprised look from the men in the room with him.

“He usually doesn’t disclose the name of his clients no matter what, it’s not money keeping his mouth shut, he is just been ethical,” Ben decided to explain the reason for his disagreement, laughing shortly after his words.

“I need to know who asked him to kidnap her, do whatever you can to get a name out of his mouth. And when I say WHATEVER, I mean WHATEVER.” Ben made his order clear. He didn’t mind whatever they did to Tiger as long as he got what he wanted, this was motivated when he remembered Brie’s accusations, he needed to make that person pay.

“She says he also worked with Crow on this job, find him, I want him here with Tiger, she doesn’t feel safe that he is still out there,” Ben added another command.

“Okay, sir.”

No more words to say to the officers, Ben looked at Tiger for a short while before deciding to go closer to him.

“This has to be the biggest mistake you’ve ever made, accepting the deal from whoever it was who wanted her kidnapped.” Tiger’s eyes got redder when Ben spitted those words to his face and he could do nothing.

“You better help yourself and give them the name I want, it’s either you or this person you are trying to protect, be wise.” With these last words, Ben left the interrogation room.

Belle came out from her room and was about to go into the kitchen when she almost bumped into a burly man.

“I’m sorry ma’am,” he apologized even if it wasn’t his fault. He did not want to provoke her because provoking her was provoking his boss and risking his job as well as his life.

“Yeah, it’s fine,” she told him. She had forgotten that they were around the house with her.

She tried to get a pie she had baked out of the oven but it felt too hot to her even though she was wearing a mitten over her fingers.

“Heyy, can you help me out?” She called the man.

He came and took a towel from the counter before she could take off the mittens and hand them over to him, taking out the pie still in its baking pan and setting it on the board she had prepared.

“Oh,” she said when she saw that he had already gotten it out.”Thanks,” she smiled and he just nodded and return to where he stood before.

Randy walked into the house from where he was outside, about to go knock in Belle’s room when he saw her in the kitchen.

“Ma’am, there’s someone here to see you,” He informed and before she could ask who it was, someone walked into the house. It was a lady, Belle wasn’t sure she really knew her but she was sure she had seen her before.

“Belle, I was so glad when Ben told me you were okay.” Belle heard the woman and looked on confused.

Randy excused himself and returned outside without waiting for her to ask who the lady was but the lady noticed her confusion and decided to introduce herself.

“It’s me Jenna, Ben’s sister, you accompanied him to my brunch party. Remember?” Jenna smiled at her as she explained.

“Oh, it’s you.” Belle laughed shortly. Now she understood why Randy let her in. “I’m sorry I couldn’t recognize you faster.”

“Yeah, that’s fine. This is Alex, my very good friend.” Jenna introduced her friend to Belle.

“Hi,” Belle just said to her. Alex faked a smile.

“Alex, this is Belle.”

“Nice to finally meet you,” Alex kept up the fake smile.

‘Is this her? So he’s actually fucking her? Since when did he like girls like her? I can’t believe this is her, she looked a little better at the hotel that day I saw her. Urghh.’ Alex thought in her mind while she retained her smile on the outside.

“Ben must really care about you, he has Randy staying here with you.” Alex pointed out, making Jenna turn to her with a ‘not now’ look.

“Oh, you can bake?” Jenna decided to change the topic when she noticed the pie sitting on the table.

“Yeah.” Belle just nodded.”Good timing, you guys can join me.” She added.
