Ernest's POV:

Aaron passed Evelyn her juice, thank god! she

didn't got injured seriously. Just a cut on leg. I patted her head as I sat

beside her, I said, "Cherry.... Now you are not going anywhere alone... and you too

Aaron... Alexis will be in N country in few hours, he is already on private

plane..."

Evelyn said in

anger, "I will kill him!!! is my life that easy.. Steven tried to kill me... I

Celeste POV:

I am telling dad today about the engagement...I

took a deep breath.. I knocked on the study door, and got in,... dad was doing

something on his computer, Ace was also there..

I looked at them and

said, "Dad.... I have something to tell you..."

Dad studied my

expression and said, "yes.. come in, Cele..." I walked in and sat in front of

dad.

Dad looked at me then he passed me a

invitation card...

Dad said, "King's

birthday is in week.. we are invited.... I know what you are going through but

you know we can't turn down this invitation.... It's ok if you don't come.." I

smiled and said, "it's fine with me dad... I work for him... I will come with you."

Dad smiled and said,

"you are really good daughter... it's strange a person like me has a daughter

like you... maybe your mom did right to raise you by herself... or you would have

turned out like me..."

Then he dad, "but... my

Dad said, "Cele... Ace

engagement... I made a mistake and I fixed it.." I looked at Ace and then at Dad.

Dad got up and sat in

won't die in such waste. I promise if Steven tried to harm you ever again, I

will not mind wasting bullets. I won't let you suffer again... just tell me and

let me help.. ok.." I nodded, dad wiped my tears and said, "such a brave girl..."I

embrace dad, I whispered, "I wish I had dad like you early..." this assurance

that he will protect me is everything.

I heard a clap, I

turned to the door and I am stunned. I see Steven, he walked in and said,

"perfect.... Celeste... can we talk?.. I mean both of you..." he walked close to us.

And Ace stood in between.
