Love The Roommate

Chapter 9

Chapter 9

I put the last touch being the earrings and stared at myself in the mirror.

It was Friday now, three days had passed since that little accident with the coffee.

I had seen Alex here and there, not much. But we talked normally. But it was just... Normal. So normal it's not like old times.

But at least we talked.

Now I stood in front of the mirror to see my creativity in choosing clothes.

I went with wearing a dark blue before knee dress with jacket jeans on it. The dress's sleeves stopped on my elbows, do if it got so hot I could just take the jeans off. And I went with white sports shoes with them. I kept my burette hair lose. And put so light make up. But I made the eyeliner heavy as always. I always love making it heavy. So it's more obvious. And also because I like how it got my blue big eyes out. I put small accessories on too like my ring that I never take off for some reasons. And some bracelets.

I got my black backpack that never leaves my side and took off to go meet Kelvin for our date.

Kelvin stood there, wearing black trousers with a gray shirt. His blonde hair styled in a messy way as always. Oh, he looked hot.

"Hey, gorgeous!" He said as he peaked my lips.

Yes, kissing had been taken as an action in the last three days. I didn't mind really. His lips felt wonderful and warm.

"Hey, handsome!" I smiled back, tangling my arm with his.

Here starts our date! Yay, I am excited, aren't you?

"I really enjoyed the night," I said as I got out of the restaurant with Kelvin beside me.

It was nine thirty now. The food was amazing! And the night too. We talked and laughed and got to know more about each other. I really liked it.

"Yeah, me too." Kelvin smiled back as he stared at me.

"What?" I smiled as I stared back at him.

"You are so beautiful." I looked down as I blushed at that.

"Thanks." I said shyly.

"Don't look down." I glanced up to see him shaking his head.

"You are beautiful, and the blush makes you look more beautiful." He smiled.

"Thanks, Kelvin." I leaned in a kissed him. Slowly and softly as he kissed me back.

"For what?" He whispered between the kisses as he sensed I meant something else. Which I did.

"For everything." I whispered back as the kiss continued going.

After a while we finally pulled away for breath.

"My roommate isn't here for the night. Come and spend some time with me?" Kelvin asked once our breaths finally settled.

"Sure," I didn't even hesitate as I answered.Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

He grinned, which made me grin back. His happiness just made me happy too.

But the roommate mention worried me a little. Not Kelvin's. Mine.

"Wait," I pulled away.

We had arrived at Kelvin's room and sat on his bed as he turned on his laptop.

The thing is just the movie we picked on Netflix started, so did our heated make out session.

I could tell it was going far but I really didn't mind as Kelvin laid me down on bed the laptop moved to the nightstand.

We kissed and kissed, our hands roaming the others body as if memoriesing it.

But then my dress was pulled off as I did the same with Kelvin's shirt. I was left in only my black bra and panties. But I still didn't care. I enjoyed it all.

Kelvin's trousers soon followed. Leaving us skin to skin. Only little clothes between us.

The kisses turned hungrier as we continued.

Kelvin's hand was on my bra clasper now as he moaned. "Jessy, oh Jessy,"

And just like that, a small pump in my head seemed to explode as I opened my eyes slowly and stared at Kelvin as he continued kissing me.

One thought ran in my head as I stared.

This isn't Alex.

I pulled away, saying, "Wait."

I kept my unclasped bra in place as I sat up straight.

"What? What's the matter?" Kelvin seemed in a daze as he stared at me.

"I- I am so sorry, Kelvin. I- I can't do this." And with that said, I quickly stood up and collected my dress as I clasped my bra back. I quickly pulled the dress on.

"Oh, I thought that- maybe you want to do it. But- its okay, I understand." Kelvin smiled, as if assuring me.

"No, Kelvin, you don't understand. This is-" I said as finally got everything in place. My dress, my shoes and my jeans jacket in hand.

Kelvin stared at me with confusion. I took a deep breath and sat in front of him on the bed.

"I- I am so, so sorry, Kelvin. I really am. I like you. Like really do I like you. I feel so safe with you. And I was more than willing to continue what we started because I really trust you. But- I can't. As I opened my eyes to look at your handsome face," I put my hand on his cheek as I continued. "This isn't Alex, that's what ran in my head. I like you. But I like Alex too. And I don't know what to do. I never even kissed him or got intimated with him and yet I like him. But I thought if I am with you then I will forget about it. But that seems like a bad idea now as I am still thinking of him. And I don't want to fool you. I like you. But I can't do this to you. I am sorry. I am so sorry." The words were rushing out as I stared at him with tears free now.

He stared at me back with hurt. As his tears ran past my hand that was resting on his cheek.

"I am so sorry." I whispered.

He took a deep breath. "I like you too. A lot. I don't know what to do about that. But- I kinda suspected that Alex-"

"I swear nothing happened between us ever. The only thing that happened was when he said he liked me but I chose you. But nothing else, I swear." I cut him off.

"I know, I trust you." He smiled.

"I am so sorry." I whispered again as I hugged him tightly.

"We have no control in our feelings. But I am happy you told me. It makes me trust you more."

"I am no worth of your trust." I sopped on his bare shoulder.

"You are. You are a good girl, with a good heart. You are kind and fun and extremely beautiful inside out. That's why you are worth my trust." He said as he stared at me, his hands on both side of my face as I stared back.

"Thanks, Kelvin. For everything." I hugged him again.

"We are still friends, right?" I pulled back a little and smiled. "Of course we are. I would never lose such amazing friend like you, Kelvin."

He smiled, nodding.

"Okay, off you go now and tell that Alex guy you like him back. Or I swear I will drag you there." He grinned.

"You would do that?"

"I want you happy. Whoever with whom I don't mind. All I want is for you to be truly happy." He smiled.

My tears increased as I hugged him one more time before standing up.

"I will see you tomorrow." He said.

"Yeah," I nodded.

And then took off to convince my undying love to Alex.

Wait what?!

Love?!

...Maybe.
