The tense atmosphere in the quiet room suddenly became tense, with Miriam’s sarcastic remarks. Andre, who had been dozing off, now widened his eyes and stared intently at Miriam. The shoulder-length haired woman only pursed her lips in annoyance, or perhaps… jealousy?

“Why do you ask?” Andre replied lazily. He didn’t feel the need to explain everything, especially to his unrecognized fiancee.

Andre’s chest thundered when Miriam brought up Lara. He had even been kicked out, and now? The topic about that girl seemed forcibly dug out of curiosity by Miriam, who knew nothing.

“I’m your fiancee, Andre! I should know about your past,” Miriam said softly. She seemed unable to grasp Andre’s love, even a little. Andre never opened his heart to her.

“Fiancee? Are you now bringing up that fake status? You’re a FORCED FIANCEE from your family to tie me down, right?” Andre glared. This time, he even rose from his chair.

With his breath growing faster, Andre drove Miriam out of his room. “Go!”
