Love Of Wind And Clouds

Chapter 41

Nancy looked around but didn’t see Dylan anywhere. When she asked the people around, they said he had not appeared in previous years, leaving everything to the two deputy general directors.

Amid the vibrant music, Stephen opened a bottle of champagne. Applause rang out and the party officially began.

The screen continued to show moments of the group’s employees’ activities over the past year.

Music shows, fashion shows, and games are arranged alternately.

Employees with good voices like Edana or Paul… also signed up to perform.

When the sweepstakes program for employees had just begun, Nancy accidentally dropped wine on her white dress, so she quickly went to the bathroom.

Fortunately, this fabric is very easy to clean, so she wiped it with water for a while and the wine stains gradually faded.

After cleaning her dress, she stepped out when she encountered a man wearing a suit. He looks very gentlemanly.

Nancy had just passed him when suddenly she was pulled back by him and he let out abusive words.

“Are you an employee of Global Corporation? Looks delicious.”

“This man, please have some dignity.”

“I don’t need dignity right now. I like women like you. How much money do you want a month?”

Nancy saw that he was already tipsy so she didn’t mind and quickly turned away.

He didn’t give up and pulled her back, pressing her against the wall. His breath filled with the smell of alcohol blew into her face, making her extremely uncomfortable, trying her best to push him away.

Suddenly an arm reached out, grabbed him, and pulled him back.

Nancy looked up in shock and saw that the man standing in front of her was Dylan.

“This is not a red light district. If you’re horny, go somewhere else and find someone.”

“This bastard, who are you? Dare to meddle in my affairs, you don’t want to live anymore, right?”

Dylan didn’t answer him, took Nancy’s hand, and led her away.

The man was furious, looked around, then ran into the bathroom, took out a mop, and rushed towards them.

Nancy heard footsteps and turned around to look, but it was already too late. Dylan pulled her forward and hugged her to protect her.

The force of the blow was so strong that she heard the sound of impact between the mop and his back.

The man aggressively raised his hand again, but Dylan quickly grabbed the mop, pulled him forward, and punched him in the face. Then Dylan kicked him in the stomach a few more times.

When the man collapsed, Dylan was no better. His back hurt so much that he couldn’t bear it, his steps were unsteady.

Nancy panicked and ran to hold him.

“President, are you ok? Let me go call someone.”

“Don’t cause trouble. No one knows I’m here. This matter should not be known to many people.”

“I’ll take you to the room first and then call Stephen.”

Dylan gritted his teeth and nodded. Nancy quickly helped him to the break room area. Luckily, at this time everyone was excitedly waiting for the draw so no one was loitering outside.

Nancy’s high heels began to betray their owner. Just as she had helped Dylan into the room and was helping him sit down, she slipped and fell backward onto the bed.

Reflexively, she grabbed his hand to steady herself, but in the end, she pulled him down with her.

This situation is so strange, if anyone else saw it, she would lose her face. If people spread rumors, she’s afraid she won’t be able to get married.

Thinking so, she quickly reached out and pushed his shoulder away.

“Don’t move, I’m in pain.” Dylan frowned.

“President, where do you hurt? If I don’t go, how can I call someone to help you?” Nancy was almost about to cry.

Outside, Stephen hurriedly walked along the hallway, his eyes roaming like he was roasting peanuts, constantly observing every corner.

Just now, when Donna invited Stephen to draw ten winning tickets and give prizes to the first ten lucky employees, he saw Nancy get up to leave and Nolan also followed behind her.

So he quickly drew lots and gave gifts at the speed of light.

When it was the turn of the last three employees, he let go of the gifts before they reached them, causing all the gifts to fall to the floor, but he let them pick them up themselves and quickly chased after her.

When he entered the bathroom, he saw Nolan rolling around like a turkey, crawling on the floor.Content © NôvelDrama.Org.

Stephen grabbed the guy’s neck and asked him. When he heard that Nancy had been taken away by a man, he called her but she did not pick up, so he immediately went to find her.

When the door of the room opened slightly, Stephen saw a man and a woman, the man lying on top of the woman, the woman lying below the man. As a result, he stood still for several seconds.

“Stephen, help me, the president is about to faint.” Nancy’s tears were streaming down.

“Nancy, please wait a moment.” After saying that, Stephen closed the door and ran away.

“Huh?”

Nancy was bewildered and cried. She thought Stephen would rush over and help her immediately.

Dylan was in so much pain that he sweated. Nancy felt each drop of his sweat falling, wetting her neck and hair.

She tried to ask questions continuously. At first, Dylan answered, but by this time he had fainted and did not reply.

In front of the room door, Stephen trembled and took out the phone to call Daria and Paul.

Paul was sitting with Ella, looking up to watch Lyle convey the message he wanted to send in the new year to all company employees when the phone in his pocket vibrated repeatedly.

As soon as he heard Stephen’s announcement, he jumped up in panic and ran straight, making Ella sitting next to him bewildered and not understanding why.

Paul ran like a rocket. For many years, Dylan had not come to these events. This year he suddenly changed his mind and came quietly without telling his assistant.

Now something happened to Dylan, so Paul is worried that if his boss dies, he will probably have to go to his boss’s house and kneel and beg Camila to spare his life. He couldn’t use himself as a substitute for her son.
