Chapter 25
“Donna, do you know Dylan?” Nancy asked the girl again.
“Are you asking President Dylan?”
“No, he’s an assistant. I also don’t know whose assistant he is.”
“I’ve never heard this assistant’s name before. You go to the eighth floor and ask everyone.”
Because Nancy was suggested by her colleague, she immediately grabbed the bouquet and went straight to the eighth floor.Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
She did not want to get involved with Dylan like this. She secretly thought that she would have to strongly refuse for him to give up.
When the elevator door to the eighth floor opened, Nancy came face to face with Paul.
When Paul saw the bouquet, he knew something was wrong because early in the morning, Dylan told him to buy him a beautiful bouquet of roses, and now it is in the girl’s hand.
“Mr. Paul, I’m so lucky to meet you again. Do you know where assistant Dylan works?”
“Assistant?” Paul’s face turned pale. He thought his boss would reveal his identity before pursuing this girl.
“Yes, it’s the person who was with you the other day.”
“Oh, go straight, to the left, last room, he’s in there.”
“Yes, thank you.”
Nancy followed Paul’s direction and quickly walked to the end of the hallway.
Looking up at the sign above with the words General Manager Dylan, her feet immediately stopped.
She was hesitating when the door suddenly opened and Dylan appeared. Seeing her holding a bouquet, he was a bit surprised.
At this moment, Nancy seemed to vaguely guess something, her eyes kept looking up at the sign and then down at the man.
She started piecing together, let’s see, the president of Global Group is also the general director, and the president’s name is Dylan, and assistant Paul is the president’s assistant.
So who is this person standing in front of her?
“You looking for me?” Dylan looked at her with eyes that couldn’t be more gentle.
“Hello president, I’m here to visit you…” Wynn suddenly appeared with a cheerful face and approached them.
“President… president?” Nancy stammered.
“Yes, he is our president. Oh, editor Nancy is also very brave. You brought flowers to confess your love to the president, right?”
As soon as Wynn finished speaking, Nancy threw the bouquet at Dylan, and he reflexively took it.
Next, she quickly turned around and ran quickly towards the elevator.
Surprised by her actions, Dylan conveniently threw the bouquet to Wynn and hurriedly chased after her.
Wynn stood motionless, his eyes wide open like a car’s headlights, not understanding what was going on.
He was going to come here and ask Dylan to tell Lyle to let him go home a little early because he was about to make his public debut anyway. But what scene did he just witness?
His future sister-in-law boldly went to confess her love to the president, then ran away when he discovered her. As for why Dylan chased her, he didn’t understand.
Nancy quickly reached out and pressed the button for the elevator, which was going up from the second floor.
When she turned her head to look, she saw Dylan approaching her. She panicked and didn’t know what to do so she took off her high heels and ran barefoot towards the stairs.
“Stop and listen to my explanation first.”
The more he called, the faster she ran. By the time she reached the sixth floor, she couldn’t run anymore and was breathing out through her ears.
Fortunately, the elevator door was just ajar, so she quickly slipped in. The staff standing there looked at her with surprised eyes.
When she got back to her seat, her arms and legs kept shaking, and her eyes looked blankly toward the door.
Everyone in the room opened their eyes wide when they saw her panicked appearance.
When she was sure Dylan wouldn’t chase her, she felt secure and started typing.
“Nancy…”
“Yes.” She was startled and shouted, jumping up when she heard the voice calling her.
All eyes continued to focus on Nancy. Lyle also stood still, as surprised as they were.
“Deputy general director, are you looking for me for something?”
“Why is your face so pale? Are you unwell?”
“No, because I was so focused that I was startled when I heard you call. What’s the matter?”
“The company’s year-end summary program is for you and editor Donna to be in charge of. If you do well, you can participate in next year’s multi-disciplinary exhibition event.” Lyle said while looking at Donna.
“Yes sir, we will try.” Nancy and Donna responded simultaneously.
Lyle nodded and went back to the eighth floor. As soon as he entered the office, he saw Wynn holding a huge bouquet and sitting on the sofa.
“Why are you looking for me?” Lyle leisurely sat in the swivel chair and asked.
“Give me the key. Mr. Dylan has allowed me to go home.”
“Just a few more days until your debut. Are you anxious to go home?”
“Of course, I miss my nest very much. Please give it to me quickly.”
Lyle reached out and pulled out the desk drawer, took the keys, and threw them to Wynn.
He quickly caught it, stood up, approached, and placed the bouquet in front of his brother.
“This bouquet is for you.”
After a playful wink, Wynn quickly walked out. Just now, after asking Dylan for help, he conveniently asked about the bouquet, so Dylan told him to take it away.
Looking at his cousin’s frowning face, he immediately obeyed, took the bouquet, and left.
Wynn thought that if his future sister-in-law gave a bouquet to Dylan but Dylan refused, he would give it to his brother so that his brother would not feel sorry for himself.
Wynn also told himself not to say anything, letting Lyle find out for himself. He wanted to punish Lyle for the crime of love but refused to say anything.
Wynn guessed that when Lyle discovered he had lost his lover, he would cry loudly.
Wynn went straight to Mina’s office, quietly watching her through the glass door.
Her beauty while working seriously made him fascinated.
He told himself that when he succeeds, he will boldly express his feelings to her because if he continues like this, he will have difficulty breathing. He was afraid that he would be like his brother and lose his lover.
