Upon hearing her disgusted tone, Jared paused and stood motionlessly.

Amber held her head, feeling highly uneasy.

It was Jared!

The man that night turned out to be Jared!

She sneered ironically and said, "I was drunk that night, but you weren't, were you? You knew it was

me that night, but you didn't tell me. Instead, you used the nickname "Z" to contact me. Whenever I

thanked you for helping me, you must be mocking me at my back. You are amused at how stupid I am,

and I don't know you are Z."

Jared frowned deeply. "I admit I've hidden my identity to contact you, but I've never lied to you or

mocked you. Z is also short for my name. As you know, I have another name, Zackary."
