Chapter 362 Is He Happy With Another Girl
Chapter 362 Is He Happy With Another Girl
Carla knew that she and Terence were meant to torture each other since she got engaged to Noah.
On top of it, she was also aware that the ending of their relationship depended on her decision.
After stating his words, Terence walked towards the door and left without any hesitation.
Carla was left alone as she worriedly scratched her head. She didn't know what to do now. She
thought, 'Why is Terence so fond of forcing me to do what I don't want to do?
He shouldn't be warning me over and over even if there's only a month left before his deadline.
I'm not even sure if I should get there as he said.
I know that my decisions are meaningless now. I should go since he has ordered me to go.
But then, should I wait to see him dating Rena for real and watch them happy together? No.
How am I supposed to live if Terence falls in love with another woman?
Moreover, how could he treat me this way when he knows all along that I love him so much?'
A few minutes later, Carla was surprised to see a cleaner come in to help. She remembered Terence
talking about it earlier but she didn't take what he said seriously. 'I'll just let the cleaner help me clean
this place. I may not be living here for a long time, but this is my home for now after all.'
Soon enough, Carla received the address Terence sent.
Thus, she told the cleaner about some important orders and then went to her room to change. She
didn't want to fall behind Rena when it came to looks.
Although she hurried, Terence was no longer at the gate of that ski resort when she arrived. Thus, she
let out a long sigh, went straight to the ticket window, and ended up buying her own ticket.
BH City was a famous landmark for skiing. It could be observed especially in this season. There were
countless people in that place now.
While waiting in line, Carla heard someone call her and saw Rainer running to her.
"Mr. Terence already bought a ticket for you, Miss Carla," said Rainer as he handed her a ticket.
Realizing what happened, Carla smiled. It was obvious that Terence still cared for her.
"Where is he?" she asked.
"Umh... Miss Rena said that she wanted to see the snow inside the resort, so Mr. Terence
accompanied her. Please follow me, Miss Carla. I will take you to them."
Rainer looked shy when he gestured Carla to follow him to the entry.
Walking behind Rainer, Carla noticed that the place did have its right to boast. It indeed had high-
quality skiing devices inside. To top it all, it also had this charming ice sculptures and snow waiting for
the visitors to appreciate.
"Can I ask you something, Rainer? Is Rena intimate with your boss?"
Carla pretended to casually ask the man walking before her as she seemed to focus more on her
steps.
"Well, it can be considered like that,"
answered Rainer while thinking of how other girls couldn't even come close to Terence. Compared with
them, he could say that Miss Rena was of a little higher state.
"I see. Is Rena living in the Seaview Villa now?"
Complex emotions showed in Carla's eyes as she continued to ask Rainer.
"No. Mr. Terence sends Miss Rena home every time and then drives back to the Seaview Villa alone,"
blurted Rainer without even thinking about her intentions.
A smile cracked Carla's lips slowly when she heard those words. The fact that Rena hadn't spent a
single night alone with Terence filled her with satisfaction.
She went silent for a while, thinking of what to ask next. Then after some seconds, she looked at
Rainer's back again and questioned, "Has Terence ever mentioned that he will marry Rena in a
month?" She was more than sure that she wouldn't get the truth from Terence.
Thus, she chose to interrogate Rainer instead.
"Yes. He mentioned it once. You see, Mr. Terence's grandfather has been sick for so long and is
scheduled for surgery next month. Provided that nothing serious happens until then, Mr. Terence
decides to get married before his grandfather's surgery.
It is our president who arranged all of this. Since Mr. Nicholas's been sick these days, Mr. Terence
didn't refuse his father's proposal anymore and just went with what Mr. Nicholas wished."
Rainer secretly glanced at Carla after telling her the truth. He then sighed, "That's the reason why you
shouldn't be blaming Mr. Terence, Miss Carla. The most important person right now for Mr. Terence is
his grandfather. The surgery Mr. Nicholas will have is very critical. It may even be Mr. Nicholas' last
chance to live. All that Mr. Terence wants right now is for Mr. Nicholas to have nothing to regret until
then."
Carla was so shocked by what she heard that she suddenly stopped walking and became silent.Têxt belongs to NôvelDrama.Org.
Her mind was ticking inside her head as she thought, 'So that's why he is rushing everything?'
"Miss Carla? Miss Carla, are you okay?" asked Rainer concernedly upon noticing her reaction.
Hearing Rainer calling her, Carla looked up at him and replied, "I'm all right."
"Mr. Terence must be ahead of us, so let's just take the shortcut," said Rainer while pointing to a
beautiful slope right before them. Forcing herself to focus, Carla let Rainer guide her to the slope.
True to his words, she did see Terence and Rena in a distance as soon as she stepped onto the
slanted snow.
Rena was busy taking photos of everything there while holding Terence by his arms. The two were
busy taking selfies with the glacier behind them. The woman was even leaning on Terence's chest
intimately as she continued to click on her camera.
"Mr. Terence, Miss Carla has arrived,"
reminded Rainer to Terence as soon as he got close to him.
As soon as Rena heard Rainer's words, her face immediately turned sour. She shot Carla a glance.
Frowning, she looked up at Terence with upset eyes and complained, "Why did you ask her to come,
Terence?"
"It was I who asked if I could come. It's been a long time, Rena,"
said Carla, who happened to hear Rena's complain. Sweetly, she smiled at everyone there and added,
"BH City is my hometown. It was me who volunteered to come over as a tour guide. Aren't you going to
welcome me, Rena?"
"Oh my God! How can you be so naive? Do you think that no one knows why you came? What you
care for is Terence. You came here to run after him, right? You know what? I don't care if you want to
be our tour guide."
Rena sneered then turned to Terence, saying, "Ask her to leave right now, Terence. I don't like her at
all!"
Following Rena's gaze, Carla ended up looking at Terence too. Carla was aware of how her presence
affected Terence. More so, she also knew that he had been staring at her since she walked in. Hearing
Rena's demand, Terence broke their eye contact and glanced at Rena. He then smiled and said, "Well
look at the positive side of it. We got a free tour guide now. Why not just let her be? Rena, don't be
mean. You're just right beside me, so she couldn't do anything."
"But..."
"Guide Carla, shall we start?"
Terence immediately cut Rena's words off when the woman tried to continue complaining. He was
looking at Carla meaningfully with a smile on his face.
Looking back at him, Carla read what was inside Terence's mind. Thus, she forced herself to smile
widely and replied, "Sure! Let's start."
Carla walked in character before them, pretending to be a tour guide. As a matter of fact, the ski resort
wasn't a scenic spot with a long history. Thus, there was really no need for a tour-guide.
Moreover, she had only been here several times. Her memory could only support them not to get lost
here.
Carla was walking ahead the whole time. More than once, she felt that someone was staring at her
from her back, thus, she would turn. However, she didn't find anyone looking at her at all.
Nathan and Rainer, who were just walking behind, were silent with their heads bowed down. They were
secretly laughing silently.
Although Terence wasn't acknowledging Carla directly, the whole month that he didn't see her made
him terribly miss her. Little did she know how much he was dying to see her today.
He heard that Carla was on a business trip. Thus, he planned to come here too, pretending that he
needed to deal with some small matters.
His only purpose of being here was to somehow ease himself from missing her like crazy.
They walked for quite a long time.
"Ah! Look at that, Terence! It's so interesting. Let's go have a look at it!"
Rena pointed to the ski boat ahead and clapped her hands happily.
The ski boat was designed for two people with the woman's seat at the front and the man's seat at the
rear. It was made so the riders could slide down the snowy slope together.
Carla also looked up to what Rena was pointing to and found that there were a lot of couples enjoying
the ride. The men were holding their women tightly with their legs as they both slid down. She
immediately frowned upon noticing how intimate each couple was. Wanting to stop Rena, she turned to
them and tried to say something.
"You know what, I think that slope is ..." "I see. Alright then. Let's go."
Terence cut Carla off and didn't refuse Rena's request. Worse, he even smiled at the woman as he
spoke.
Rena immediately anticipated being held by Terence tightly, so she excitedly grabbed Terence's arm
and dragged him to one of the ski boats.
Naturally, Nathan and Rainer followed Terence to the ski boat, leaving Carla with no choice but to walk
after them even if she didn't want to.
They were already at the top of the slope when Carla noticed that the riders were all couples. Although
she was exhausted from the steep climb, an idea kicked in Carla's mind. Thus, she turned to the man
beside her and asked, "Rainer, do you want to try this ride with me?"
