Love In Twilight By Tiny Mountains Chapter 100
Chapter 100
Chapter 100 Add My Wife’s Name to This Property Clarissa only returned to her senses when Lily
called out to her. “What did that woman say to you? Don’t fall for her tricks!” Lily advised. “She went on
about how stingy and cheap I am,” Clarissa replied dejectedly. “Come on, let’s go shopping. President
Lawrence deserves to have his money spent for having a mistress!” Though Lily knew to take
Madelynn’s words with a grain of salt, the latter probably wasn’t stupid enough to lie about the house
belonging to Damien Clarissa was upset as well. They took a laxito a mall, but not New East Mall. If
they were to spend money at his mall, wouldn’t it just be going back into his pocket?
She even texted Damien to demand money. Clarissa: (Give me money. I want to shop for clothes!)
Damien hadn’t given her money for a long time.
When he received her message, he felt that something was afoot, but he still replied to her.
Damien: (How much do you want?]
Clarissa: (200,000 dollars.] Shortly after that, she received a transfer ol 200,000 dollars.
She didn’t expect him to be so generous. Lily was infuriated about Damien having a mistress, but
Clarissa was infuriated about him not mentioning what had happened in the past. All he knew was that
the cornea wasn’t his, but he didn’t know that the person who had donated the cornea was…
Clarissa wanted to cry
She bought a lot of clothes, all of them branded and expensive. Each one cost at least 20,000 dollars.
When she got home, she was dressed in an expensive cashmere sweater and miniskirt, and she had a
pair of sheepskin boots on. Aside from that, there were several shopping bags hanging from her arms.
Damien was seated on the sofa downstairs and reading a book.
He could tell that she had spent a lot, just by looking at her shopping bags. “What, you were only willing
to spend 2,000 dollars on a shuirt for me, yet you bought something so expensive for yourself?” he said
mildly. He was teasing her.
Clarissa ignored him and headed upstairs. She flopped onto the bed and started crying, feeling bad for
her father. However, she knew no matter how bad she felt, she couldn’t bring it up with Damien. Her
father had banned her from ever bringing this up, and Damien didn’t want people to talk about it either.
Moreover, there was no denying his and Madelynn’s history. She knew that nothing would affect their
relationship, whether she was present. She was nothing but a tool, and she would be licked to the curb
once she was no longer useful.
“Who dares bully my wife? Talk to me.” Damien followed her upstairs and put his book down on the
coffee table. He looked like nothing and no one would ever bother him.
Clarissa knew she couldn’t mention a word about the grievance she’d suffered. It would make her
seem too petty if she were to say anything.
“It’s nothing.” She wiped her tears away and sat up on the bed before grabbing a book and pretending
to read it. “You’re not going to tell me?” Damien asked, his tone a little morc forcesul. “Stop asking,
please.” Her voice was hoarse from crying, and she still sounded a little choked up. She wiped a few
more tears away, looking pitiful.
Damien called Landon. “What happened tonight? Why has my wife come home in tears?” he
questioned. “In tears? Is she crying?” Landon suddenly felt at a loss. “Nothing happened at all! Did
something happen on her way home?” Damien glanced at Clarissa, who was still pretending to read.
She hadn’t turned the page for a long time now, and she was still weeping. “Where do you stay?”
Damien asked after some thought.
“Me? At Southern Paradise, on East River Avenue,”
Damien hung up, finally understanding what had happened. Clarissa had probably bumped into
Madelynn, and Madelynn had told her about staying in Damien’s house. She had probably also
mocked Clarissa’s clothes, which was why she had suddenly gone on a shopping spree. He texted his
assistant, instructing him to handle something the next morning. He also told his assistant to inform
Madelynn.
The next day, Damien brought Clarissa to the housing bureau.
She was going to put on something that she normally wore, but Damien said, “There’s no need to
change. Put on what you wore last night.”
She did as he said. NôvelDrama.Org © content.
Her eyes were swollen from crying, and she didn’t know where Damien was taking her to. She didn’t
ask, though.
At the housing bureau. Madelynn and Monica were already there. Damien’s assistant had texted them
to come here on this day to deal with the house deed. They figured Damien was probably going to
transfer the house to them. Madelynn even went so far as to think that once the house was under her
name, she wouldn’t be able to say she was staying in Damien’s house. She wondered what Clarissa
had told Damien to make him come to such a decision.

Madelynn was greatly pleased by the sight, Clarissa obviously held a grudge against her. She
appraised Clarissa, who was no longer dressed in the shabby outfit seen the night before. In fact, the
latter was dressed fashionably, ‘Well, how’s she supposed to wrap Damien around her finger if she
doesn’t dress up well?’ Madelynn told herself.
“I want to add my wife’s name to this property on East River Avenue,”Damien told an employee at the
housing bureau. This surprised Clarissa. She turned to stare numbly at him, perplexed. Madelynn and
Monica were even more flabbergasted. They hadn’t expected this at all!
