This was the rapid conclusion drawn by many in

the crowd.

Xan, however, scoffed. These spectators were

clearly ignorant. They failed to appreciate the full

extent of Rhett’s abilities and truly believed his only

skill was an energy barrier.

Even Mackenzie could discern that Rhett was more

than he appeared, and she secretly worried for Emmanuel.

This was a pivotal battle that determined whether

their family could return home to see Terence and

Felicity. Emmanuel could not afford to lose!

Certainly, Rhett quickly escalated the intensity of

the fight.

As Rhett flicked his cloak, Emmanuel was

confronted with a swirling, blood–red blur. His

punch, which should have struck Rhett, instead met

empty air.

Rhett showed his true form. Like a red phantom, he

had moved behind Emmanuel and delivered a

counterattack.

Emmanuel attempted to block with crossed arms,

but it felt as though he had been struck by a freight

train, sending him flying!

Many spectators were stunned with some even

fearing Emmanuel might be thrown off the stage.

Freya cast a sidelong glance at Mackenzie, hoping

to catch any sign of nervousness.

Mackenzie, however, remained impassive and

composed. Despite her lack of martial arts

knowledge, she completely trusted Emmanuel. She

was confident her husband would not be easily

overpowered!

As expected, Emmanuel performed an impressive

Swallow’s Reversal in midair and landed firmly on

the stage.

The duel between the two masters captivated the onlookers below!

Emmanuel smiled and remarked as he shook his

arms.

Rhett, breaking away from his usual pose, lowered

his arms and assumed a combat stance as he

said, “Your Swallow’s Reversal exceeds my

In the realm of masters, minimal words were

needed to grasp each other’s intent.

Emmanuel’s serious gaze conveyed his

understanding. Rhett was genuinely intent on

defeating him!

Moments later, Rhett launched his offensive.

His attacks became significantly more aggressive.

His red cloak, ripped from his body, was hurled with

Alarmed, Emmanuel used Dragon–Breaking Palm

to send the cloak flying back.

As Rhett reclaimed his cloak, he executed three

rapid kicks toward Emmanuel.

Given Rhett’s height, leg length, and sheer power,

Emmanuel found it challenging to block and had to both defend and retreat.

When spectators saw Emmanuel stabilize himself

with multiple tears in his clothing, they realized that although they saw three kicks from Rhett, only

Emmanuel knew the full extent of the attacks.

Rhett showed no signs of halting, pressing his

assault further.

Previously, many believed Rhett was solely a

strength–based fighter who relied on energy and

remained stationary during battles.

Imposing but lacking flair!

Even during his fierce match with Xarri years ago,

this was the impression. However, no one

anticipated his martial arts skills were so

sophisticated!

His red cloak was his most formidable weapon.

In the next moment, the red cloak, like an

all–encompassing net, surrounded Emmanuel in

an unpredictable manner.

Xan smirked. It had been a while since he saw Rhett

fight with full force. This was the true ruler of Dark

Night Islands!

“Ha! The outcome is imminent!”

“Rhett’s true power is indeed remarkable!”

“Emmanuel may be a king as well, but compared to

our Rhett, he is still somewhat inferior!”

Falcon, Anna, and others from the Ophanim Clan

awaited eagerly as Rhett led them to the pinnacle

of Dark Night Islands!

Unlike the Night Wolf representatives, the future of

the rest of Dark Night Islands was of no concern to

them. They were solely focused on dominating

Dark Night Islands and becoming its singular

legend!

As for whether Rhett would align with or oppose the Airspace Group once he became the overlord, they

would follow accordingly!
