Chapter 1933 The Hidden Powers of the Summerton Pa
The three men couldn’t shake the strange feeling that had followed them
since entering the grand Summerton Palace. It was a masterpiece of
architecture, with intricate carvings and designs that hinted at hidden
mechanisms and traps. Yet, as they ascended its vast halls, the only
hindrances they faced were martial artists who tried and failed, to block their
path. No hidden traps sprang into action, and no deadly mechanisms were
activated.
The martial artists, though formidable in their own right, proved no match for
Gwain. They had fought their way through the palace with ease and now
stood before the imposing stone door on the top floor.
As the trio fumbled with the door, searching for a way to open it and confront
the master of Summerton Palace, it suddenly swung open on its own.
“Mr. Gwain, be careful. This could be a trap,” Hank warned sharply, his voice
low with caution.
Wyatt nodded, his face drawn with tension. “Yeah, something’s not right.

Everything’s been.. too easy.”
Gwain’s brows furrowed as he contemplated the situation. After a brief
moment of thought, he spoke with quiet confidence, “Perhaps we’ve
overestimated the reclusive Summer family. Maybe this is all they have to
offer.”
Hank chuckled heartily, his laughter bouncing off the stone walls. “Haha, Mr.
Gwain, you’re right! For most people, getting this far would be impossible. But
you’re too strong–nothing the Summer family can muster could stop you.”
Wyatt agreed, though a nagging doubt lingered in his mind. Could it be that the Summer family had spent thirty years building this grand palace, only for
it to amount to nothing more than a showpiece?
“Let’s go inside,” Gwain said, his voice firm as he led the way into the massive
stone hall.
Though his confidence was unshaken, Gwain remained vigilant, his senses sharp for any sign of hidden dangers, be it traps or arrows that might strike

from the shadows. Yet, even as they reached the innermost chamber, not a
single trap had been triggered.
“You’ve finally arrived.”
The sudden rasp of an old voice filled the air, breaking the eerie silence.
Hank and Wyatt stiffened in surprise. Unlike Julian’s group, they were attuned
to the immense power lurking behind that voice. They could sense the depth
of the speaker’s internal energy, but even as the sound echoed around them,
they could not pinpoint where the speaker was. It was the mark of a true
master–a figure of immense strength, one who had retreated from the world
for countless years.
Gwain’s keen eyes swept the room, and after a moment, they settled on an elderly man with a long white beard sitting in the shadows of the western
corner. Though nothing was hiding him, the old man seemed to merge with
the very stone walls, as though he were part of the palace itself, making him
almost invisible.

“Honored elder, I am Gwain. May I ask your esteemed name?” Gwain, always
respectful in the face of true power, clasped his hands and bowed deeply.
“Hmm, so you’re Gwain?” The old man’s sharp gaze scanned Gwain from
head to toe, his eyes glinting with approval as he observed the young man’s
powerful aura.
“Indeed, refined as jade, with features like a painting. You are a peerless
young master–your very presence embodies the regal grace of the
Lannister family. Impressive. Very impressive.” The elder’s voice was both
praise and recognition.
After his compliment, the old man introduced himself, “I am but a humble
man known as Finley. There’s no need to remember the name.”
“Finley?!” The three young men gasped in unison, their faces showing growing
shock and disbelief.
Wyatt was the first to bow again, his voice filled with awe. “So, it’s you, Mr.
Ford… the Six Sun Hermit, the Grandmaster of Zovince from thirty years ago. I

apologize for my earlier rudeness.”

Hank quickly followed suit, bowing deeply. He knew full well that a
Grandmaster from thirty years ago was leagues beyond the so–called
champions of today. What passed for the pinnacle of martial arts today was
mere child’s play compared to the battles of old. And who knew what
unimaginable heights the Six Sun Hermit had reached in the past thirty years
of isolation and cultivation?
“Hahaha, it’s good to know that some still remember my name. Very good,
indeed,” Finley laughed heartily, his voice resonating through the vast
chamber.
Gwain, however, was not swayed by the legendary reputation of the old
master. He bowed once more and spoke with unflinching resolve. “Mr. Ford,
we’ve come today not only to pay our respects to the Summer family but to
reclaim something that rightfully belongs to the Lannister family.”
“Oh? And what might that be?” Finley’s voice dripped with feigned ignorance,
though his knowing eyes gleamed with anticipation.

“The Dragon Tome,” Gwain declared, his voice unwavering. “If the Summer
family returns it, the Lannister family will let bygones be bygones. If not, then
I’m afraid we’ll have to resort to force.”
“Hahahaha…” Finley threw his head back, his laughter booming throughout
the chamber like thunder. After a long moment, he fixed Gwain with a steely
gaze and said, “Young man of the Lannister family, such arrogance. Do you
think you can defeat me?”
“I wouldn’t dare,” Gwain replied with humility, though his eyes blazed with
fierce determination. “But if you refuse to make things easier, then for the
sake of my family’s honor, I will have no choice but to fight, even if it means
shedding blood here today.”
“Very well.” Finley’s expression hardened as he reached into his robes and
produced a tattered scripture. Holding it up, he said, “If you can defeat me,
the Dragon Tome will be yours. But if not, you will leave this place and never
return.”
