“We’re about to zap you from head to toe!” the lead security guard snapped,

reaching for his stun gun. This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

“Hold on!” the hotel manager’s voice called from inside, causing the guard to freeze. “Everyone, clear the way!”

The manager’s eyes widened when he realized who was at the door. Even if I

don’t know Sage, I recognize Emmanuel Lowe. He’s Ms. Quillen’s husband and the Grandmaster of Nuthana. Shockingly, these twenty–four security guards

dared to challenge him. Are they looking for trouble?

“Mr. Lowe, I’m really sorry for the mix–up. If we’d known you were attending, we would have handled this differently,” the manager apologized, forcing a

polite smile.

Emmanuel’s expression remained icy. He looked at the manager with a cold smirk and replied, “Handled differently? Afraid your boss won’t make it out?”

“Huh? I…” The manager was taken aback, clearly surprised by Emmanuel’s

insight.

“Step aside and keep quiet if you don’t want things to worsen!” Emmanuel

warned before striding past them.

Sage followed right behind. Seeing that Emmanuel wasn’t escalating things,

he went inside, too.

“They’re so full of themselves! I’d love to put them in their place!” the lead guard muttered while glaring at Emmanuel’s back, clearly itching to fight.

“Put them in their place? Against the Grandmaster of Nuthana? Good luck

with that,” the manager stated dismissively, instantly deflating the guard’s

confidence.

Clearly impressed, one of the guards whispered, “He’s really the Grandmaster

of Nuthana?

“That explains his intense stare!”

“He’s got such a strong presence!”

The guards exchanged hushed remarks.

Ignoring the chatter, Emmanuel noticed the manager pulling out his phone,

probably to call for backup. Emmanuel swiftly ordered, “Sage, take their

phones and walkie–talkies. Oh, make sure to warn them as well.”

“Got it, Commander!” Sage replied. He was keen to handle the disrespectful

guards, especially their foul–mouthed leader.

Bam! Chaos quickly broke out at the hotel entrance as people were tossed

out one after another.

Without a second glance, Emmanuel headed straight for the elevator. His

mission for revenge was clear. A few people hesitated to join him, clearly

unwilling to share the ride.

Emmanuel relaxed in the elevator, selecting the 10th floor. The building had

twelve floors, with the top three featuring an opulent banquet hall that could

accommodate over a thousand guests.

At the entrance to the banquet hall on the 10th floor, a man was desperately

trying to get the attention of a provocatively dressed woman. It was Jacob;

he looked anxious and practically begged.

that, the Zimmerman family will be done for Jacob pleaded. “I’m not asking

for a fortune–just 60,000! I need it right away!”

His eyes were dark with worry, and his complexion was ashen as he held onto

Milori stayed calm and focused, trying to get into the banquet hall without

saying a word.

“Vacri, will you help or not?” Jacob asked, grabbing her arm as she

attempted to enter. He knew if she got through, he’d be left behind.

Jacob was taken aback. He pondered, Strange. Milani never turns me down

like this.

In a last–ditch effort, he threatened, “Fine! If you don’t help, then I won’t get

married. Let the Zimmerman family come to an end! Just wait and see how

Mom and Dad deal with it!”

Milani, who had been silent until now, finally lost her temper. Ignoring the

growing crowd, she yelled, “Fine! Go ahead and tell them! I’m severing all ties

with the Zimmerman family–I’m done with all of you!”

Jacob was stunned. “What did you just say?!” he yelled, his anger rising.

“Repeat it! Mom and Dad raised you to back me up, right? Why else would

they have spent all that money on you? They might as well have raised a

dog!”

Milani’s fists were clenched in anger. I’m so tired of being seen as nothing

more than Jacob’s financial backup. Even with my old job as a supervisor

making over 14,000 a year, I have nothing saved. I used to spend a lot, but!

could have saved something since I only covered my expenses. Yet, Mom’s
