With another furious roar, Quintus hurled himself at the equipment, his fist

crashing down with all his might.

As the old saying goes, even a master fears a young fighter’s punch. Though

the old man’s technique far surpassed Quintus‘, he didn’t dare block him now

that he understood his intent. If the Queen of the Dark Night Islands were still

alive, the old man might have fought with all he had, but with his fighting

spirit now diminished, there was no point in sacrificing himself for a machine.

Boom!

With a thunderous boom, the equipment was demolished by Quintus.

The old man’s fist, poised to strike Quintus‘ heart, stopped just short. Had he

struck, even Quintus‘ iron body would have been no match.

“Heh, old man, why didn’t you finish me off?” Quintus asked, turning around

with a twisted grin.

The old man sighed. “I have no deep hatred for you. What would be the point

of killing you? You’ve won–take your victory and go.”

“Thanks, old man! I’m out of here!‘ Quintus didn’t waste any time, knowing

that 6 a.m. was fast approaching.

Creak. The door opened.

Everyone was stunned to see Quintus walk out.

Emmanuel didn’t rush inside but asked with full confidence, “Did you take

care of it?”

“Heh, still don’t trust your number one rival? Of course, I did!” Quintus replied

proudly, though he nearly collapsed from exhaustion.

Emmanuel quickly stepped forward to support him, joking, “With skills like that,

you still think you can be my number one rival?”

“Heh, so you’d rather have me as your big brother–in–law?” Quintus grinned.

Emmanuel smiled back but didn’t continue bantering. Instead, he shouted, Exclusive © material by Nô(/v)elDrama.Org.

The Relentless Fighter

“Everyone, we’re heading to the southern region! The dockyard must be open

by now!”

As commander, he spoke with unwavering confidence. He trusted his

brothers completely, a habit he’d developed since his days as the Wolf

Warrior.

“Yes! We’ve won!”

“We’re finally getting out of this hellhole!”

“Freedom at last!”

The Alliance troops cheered loudly. They believed in Emmanuel. Many, like

Molly, saw Emmanuel as a figure of faith. And Emmanuel, in turn, saw them

as family, leading them towards the southern region. Despite the pressing

time, he made sure not to leave a single brother or sister behind. As for those

who had fallen, they would rest forever on the Dark Night Islands.

Deep down, Emmanuel was a bit worried, afraid that they’d reach the

southern region only to find the dockyard still closed.

But as he arrived at the dockyard, his face lit up with rellef,

“Look! The gate is open!”

“The Alliance has taken control of the ships!”

“What a huge ship!”

Behind him, the Alliance members were ecstatic

houting in excitement.

Rhett walked up to Emmanuel and respectfully said, “Commander, I ordered

the Alliance brothers to bring the ships to the dock–three in total, one large

and two smaller ones. But right now, they’re empty. It’s up to you to decide

who gets to board and who doesn’t!”

Emmanuel glanced at the three ships and quickly estimated that they could

hold no more than three thousand people.

With over two thousand Alliance members already at the dockyard, and the

forces from the northern region yet to arrive, there might not be enough

room for everyone!
