Looking For Clara

“What… Clara wanted to say something before but Donovan shut her up with his gaze. She quickly sit down in one of the empty chair just pondering why Donovan was here.

Donovan on the other hand was so surprised to found Clara here. So his father was really the one that brought her here but what for? He thought as his gaze meet with her own.

“I really appreciate you for coming Donovan, father spoke to me about how you usually used to treat him and he explained to me what transpired between the two of you the other day you came to visit him.

“So what do you want me to say?” Donovan questions him his eyes fixed on Clara who was now looking somehow. They talk briefly for like Twenty minutes and finally reconcile with each other when they surprised Donovan with his favourite food (spaghetti) which his mother had prepared for him.

Donovan couldn’t resist to eat with them. He didn’t went to the dinner room but decided to eat it from where he was sited. He took two fork of the spaghetti and that was when he came to realise what was happening to Clara.

Clara fall down all of a Suddenly and that came as a shock to everyone thereby pulling his attentions. He quickly drop down the tray of the food and rush towards Clara who was now on the ground.

“What happened to her?” What have you done to her? He questions his father with so much angers as his father glared at Dennis who was confused as well.

On his way, he text his personal doctor to come immediately while he rush Clara to his house.

“Father did you hit the call? Dennis questions his father who was lost in thought as he nodded his head. “I didn’t do anything to her to be frank! I didn’t even touch her as well! Wilson uttered trying to explain himself to his son who had thought that he did something wrong to her.

“But Why’s Donovan carrying him? Could it be that they know each other because it’s seems like our plans just got spoilt by her, why did she suddenly have to ruin everything for us?”

Wilson questions him still trying to calculate what would have lead to her fall. Hope nothing bad will happen to her because she will be questions.

“Don’t worry father, this isn’t the end of our plans! There’s actually another way we can get hold of him and I think we can use her”. Can’t you remember the worried look on his face when she fell down earlier father?

Donovan cares about her and we are going to use her against him! His mind came down a little bit on hearing that. Dennis have a point there but that will really take lot of time though but it’s okay.© 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

“I just hope nothing bad had happened to her because we will be held responsible”.

Bentley find it so hard to believe after testing her and of course her have to deliver the bad news to him. “Is she okay? His voice came in as a whisper to her as she sighed deeply not trying to look sad so that it wouldn’t get him worried because she can see the care he have for her.

“She was poison!” Whatever that she must have eaten was poison. He was silent and speechless for a while as his thoughts went wide. Could it be that the spaghetti which he was eating was poison? He thought and requested for a checkup.

“Can you also check me up just like you did to her?” He shrugged at her as she brought out her stethoscope and other equipment and the results was negative. Nothing was wrong with him and neither was him poison.

“At this point what do you think will happen to her?” He shrugged at her and went to look her again. Luckily, the poison was small and it hasn’t yet settled down in her nervous system” I do hope that the medicine which I have given her will able to disove it out.

He was really so angry and pissed on why they will do such thing. But then another ideas came to him. What if he was the one meants to be poison and not her?

He thought as he glared at her just sleeping silently. He touched her hand and can feel how cold it was. She must have been really so hungry that she requested for a food. She must have been really so tired after all those beating and disgrace they lay on her.

He was feeling really sorry for her and can’t imagine himself being in her shoes. The good thing is that she will be okay again. That’s what he wants to hear and after that, she’s going to tell him everything that happened and if he found out that Dennis and his father was behind this, he’s going to kill them all because their plans was to Kill him as well.

“You can leave now sir, I assured you that she will be fine very soon”. She’s a strong girl and her immune system is strong enough to fight it off. Bentley had never seen Donovan so down like this. He must have started liking her which was the reason why he called her to come treat her if not he was going to ignore her but at this moment he looks like someone who cares about her and wouldn’t want to see her getting hurt.

Owen and the four people Which was remaining decided to go beg him. But he didn’t say any words to them. They all do understand what had happened and hope that he will forgive them for what they did. They were the cost of everything that happened and if anything happened to her they don’t think that he will ever forgive them. He will be so Angry.
