Chapter 461
Constantine had spent the past month combing through all the streets of Seechertown, using his Magic Mirror to forge the glowing ball. A slight adjustment of the glowing ball would show him everywhere he had been. This is the property of Nô-velDrama.Org.
A moment later, he said slowly, "Everything's tainted now. Where is he hiding?" Over at Sealake Island, in Eileen's room.
Eileen had just returned from a walk. She closed the door of her room behind her, putting her hands on the ground. A wave of spirit energy surged out, forming a barrier between her room and everything outside of it.
Eileen took out something that looked like a flat disc after that, putting it on the table and channeling her spirit energy into it.
The disc lit up with mysterious patterns and symbols, glowing blue.
A few minutes later, four figures appeared in the blue glow.
They were an old and wrinkled lady with a hunchback, a muscular man in a classy suit, an elderly scholar in his fifties donning glasses, and a young man in his thirties in fashionable clothing.
The four of them appeared and asked almost at the stime, "What's the matter, Elder Fall? Why did you call for a meeting with all four of us at once?" "The people from the Church of Bloodism have entered Kardon Province, Elders. I'm sure all of you know about that." "Yes. You've already reported on that." "I've finally found traces of them after over a month." "How are things now, then?" "Seechertown is starting to be polluted by the blood fog. | suspect one of the Twelve Apostles is here in the flesh, laying down a ritual of sorts." "Do you need backup?" the scholar asked.
"Not for now. | have two Sanctuary level allies here." The old woman asked, "Are you talking about Constantine and Wilbur Penn?" "Yes. Constantine is from the Church of Holy Illuminati. They're a natural enemy against all forces of evil." "What about Wilbur Penn?" the man in the suit asked.
"He took the Blood Embryo with him. I'm pretty sure the apostle's after him, too." The young man in the trendy clothes said, "Ah, so all three of you have a common enemy." "Three Sanctuary Level cultivators against one apostle should be enough, right?" asked the scholar.
Eileen smiled. "It should be, but I'm saying this now. If we take the apostle down, whatever he has on him is going to be mine." The other four figures were silent, before the scholar eventually said, "I'm fine with that as long as you don't call for our help." "Well, | don't have anything to say against that either," said the man in the suit.
The old woman rasped, "That's alright." "Eileen, | think | should help you out. The apostle won't be an easy foe to take down," the young man in the trendy clothes smiled.
Eileen barked out a laugh. "No thank you. I'm fine." "Alright, then. | respect your decision, Elder Fall," the young man shrugged.
The scholar said, "Alright, we'll go with that, then." Eileen said, "Elders, there's just something I'd like to be sure of. Did our founders go missing, or did they die? Also, do they have any children?" The scholar's eyes widened. "There's not much of a difference between them going missing or dying, honestly. They do have a child, who went missing as well." "That's a shame, then. Our founders were so powerful. I'm sure anyone with their blood would be immensely powerful as well," Eileen mused.
The scholar said, "It is a shame, but the truth is tragic. If our founders had left behind an heir, the Kiwanis Club would be much stronger for sure. Our founders had been a godlike presence. Their child would have had so much potential." "Hypothetically speaking, what would we do if we managed to find the founders’ child?" Eileen asked with a smile.
The scholar said, "Well, they would automatically get the position of club leader. We wouldn't have to take turns, either." "Really? | find it quite hard to believe that our founders really entered an alternate universe," the young man chuckled.
The man in the suit piped up in a sharp voice, "Hey, show srespect to our founders! You'd be in big trouble if they're still alive, you know what Madam's temper is like."
