Amela’s Pov

I hope Simon comes tonight with news on that strange wolf that attacked us.

“Will you spend all day staring at my picture when I am here live with you?”

Oh no, I should have just taken a glance at his picture and left immediately.

“I am sorry Alpha Lorde, I was just taking a walk around the house to keep myself busy.” I lied.

“Are you bored in the house already? Would you like to work with me at the company to always leave the house?”

“I. I.” I didn’t know what actual response I could give to him.

“You don’t need to answer me okay? I know how to treat you well.” He caressed my hair and I loved it, it feels so good when he does that.

“It’s not safe out there, for now, the first time we went out together, I was unable to protect you, a big shame to me, I don’t ever want that to happen again, once we found out everything then you can be stepping out to work at the company.”

“I understand and thanks so much for showing this care to me.”

“You are my soul mate and not just that, I love you alone.” I was shocked when he said he loves me alone, I couldn’t stop blushing at the statement.

“Oh, someone face is turning red already.”

Oh no, I touched my face saying, “I need to keep the living room clean.” I lied just to leave there, it feels so hot already.

“Hey.” He yelled.

I stopped immediately and turned.

“Did I ask you to leave?”

“I am sorry Alpha Lorde, I didn’t mean to do that, please forgive me.” I almost went on my knees when he stopped me.

“Don’t you know how to act like a Luna? A luna don’t beg.” He said to me looking directly into my eyes.

“I will learn how to behave like one.”

“Remember I said when you do something wrong, I will punish you right?”

I nodded my head in approval as I could feel my legs shaking already, what punishment will he give to me this time around?

He insisted.

“Yes, Alpha Lorde.”

“Good.” He came close reaching for my lips when I closed my eyes expecting a kiss when he used his fingertip on my forehead.

“Ouch.” I expressed myself opening my eyes to see him smiling at me.

“Wow, you were expecting a kiss right?”

“No, I wasn’t.” I lied.

“Yes, you were.” He added and held me by my waist saying, “I am happy to have you in my life.”

I felt so happy like never before, I am also glad he came to my life to rescue me from my evil parents but I can’t say this out to his hearing.

“Oh, lovebirds get a room okay?” His mom came in and I became so shy.

“Mother, we don’t need a room, we can be anywhere.”

“Oh, you wish to make me miss my last husband right? You such a silly boy, well I want you two to come with me to the balcony.”

“What for mother?”

“Just come with me, Amelia lets go.”

She held my hands and he said, “Okay fine I will come with you since my mate didn’t argue.”

“Oh Amelia, I am glad to have you, now I will be using you to get my son.”

I started laughing when he said,”That won’t work.”

He held my hands while we walked his mother, but he kept staring at me repeating the words, “I love you.”

We got to the balcony and saw some set of werewolves.

“Now is time to choose the design you want at the welcoming party.”

“Really mom?” Alpha Lorde look so frustrated for his mother to bring him into female things.

“Wow they are so beautiful,” I said to make his mom happy.

He kept quiet all through the conversation when suddenly he jumped up saying, “I need to go.”

“What happened, son? Is there an emergency?” His mon asked and he nodded as he left at once

She asked immediately the other wolves left, we choose a design but my mind was not there but with Alpha Lorde, so I just went with any design his mother said was nice.

“Mom is it obvious on my face?”

“Oh yes, it is damn obvious love, wow my son is so lucky to have someone to love him this much, not all mates gets that.”

“Oh, mom what emergence were you talking about?” I decided to ask her.

“Well, if something unexpected happened to the pack or other wolves finally, Simon mind link with him to tell him.”

“I see, I hope is not a bloody war?”

“Hell no, that can’t happen now, the last time a great war that is bloody happened was during the time of his great grandfather, and a particular wolf pack, I have forgotten their name, but I heard they decided to be on their own when they got attacked and lost their newborn baby, till now my son is looking for several means to bring the life and happiness to that pack.”

“I feel for them, it’s painful to lose their newborn baby just like that.”

“You know some werewolves are heartless, maybe just some minor issues that’s why he left that way, he will be back soon, so do not worry yourself okay?”

“Thank you mom for telling me this, I will await his return.”

” so get ready tomorrow we will be going shopping for what you will be putting on for your welcome party.”

“Okay mom, can’t wait,” I said forcing myself to smile and she smiled back walking to her room.

Oh mine, hope Alpha Lorde is safe wherever he is right now.

I went to get water from the fridge when I had a bad feeling about what is taking place.
