I woke up and felt someone resting close to me.

I managed to sit up with the wooden structure supporting my back then I realise it was my mate, she was watching over me all through the night I could see.

I know she will be having body pains now, I need to carry her to the bed to sleep properly.

I admired her face before I thought of standing up to place her on the bed properly when she yawned so loud, stretching her body.

“Oh Alpha Lorde, you are awake.” I smiled at her.

“Why did you sleep that way? Do you want your body to be aching you?”

“No Alpha Lorde, I was hum reading, yeah reading when I slept off.”

“Wow, I guess I am such an interesting book to study right? Were you worried all night because of me?”

“Son she was so worried that I doubt if she even got enough sleep.” Mom joined the conversation by entering my room sitting close to me on my bed.

“Good Morning mom.” I smiled at my mom and she also extended her morning greetings to my mom.

“Son I am glad you are recovering now, so Amelia you can eat food now and also get a good rest too.”

“Amelia, did you skip your meal?” I was unhappy hearing this.

“I am sorry Alpha Lorde, I lost my appetite that’s why..”

“Get the maid to prepare something for the both of us to eat.”

“Oh sure, I will do that immediately but hope you are not feeling any more pains?”

She left the room and I know mom is about to begin some talking about what took place.

“Mother you worry too much, nothing will happen to me, see, I can’t be killed by any wolves, I can only be injured then I will recover,” I assured mom.

“Are you sure you will be fit enough for the welcoming party?”

“Mom you know I am not in support of any party but since you all want it, I had no choice but to accept.”

“Yeah you need to accept that, can you walk? You need to have a nice bath now.”

“Yeah mom, I can, I don’t know Amelia will be this worried.”

“Why won’t she, she is your mate.”

I don’t wish to tell them I still have some crucial pains, I hate it when people I love get stressed and worried because of me.

Mom left the room, I turned on the shower trying to reach what exactly was the wolf that attacked me and how possible for Amelia to kill it, I know Simon will be searching for answers now but whatever that is, we must keep it from the pack not to be scared.

I mind link with Simon, “Alpha are you feeling better now? It pained me that we didn’t run yesterday because of what happened.”

“That aside, Simon what exactly is the wolf? I could only smell chemicals.”

“The doctors are still researching and taking samples, I guess a few days from now, it should be out but they found it having poisonous claws made up of wolfbane that is likely fo affect any alpha, I don’t think this is a wolf, I think an enemy is trying to create an army of such harmful creatures.”

“This is serious, whoever the person is, I guess he or she also has an informant here in this house.”

“Exactly but I know soon, we must find whoever that is doing this and make him or face instant judgement.”

“Where are the special wolves? ”

“They came in yesterday and presently at their various room, they will be waiting for you to welcome them fully.”

“I feel so bad that the wolf took us off the guard.”

“Lastly are you going to bath for an hour in the bathroom?”

Amelia informed the maids but she didn’t let them cook, she prefers to render little help to them, this is the kind of life she is used to already, not doing it Is like an illness to her.

The special wolves were all ready to have breakfast, a menu was sent to them on their various department and they are to resume working at the company the following weekend.

Katarina went to her room to rest when her mother call came in.

“Hello, Mom.”

“Hello my pretty daughter, how is it going over there?”

“Going well mom, now I am in the mansion, it will be so easy to get rid of Amelia.”

“Please do it so fast, I am in full support of it, she is not to be in that position, you are supposed to be there, she belongs to the life of a nobody.”

“I will do everything mom to make sure she doesn’t last a month in this place trust me, mom.”

“I do, let me know when you start executing the plans okay?”

“Sure mom.”

Immediately her mom ended the call someone opened her door, did the person listen to her conversation with her mom or what? She wonders.
