I didn’t want to tell Alpha what I think, it might be stupid so I intend to keep things to myself for now without disclosing anything to him but I know what I saw, she had the yellow eyes and wolves from the Blue Moon pack just have blue eyes, this is strange I must say.

I walked to my room to have a cool bath before going to bed, I hardly see Andre around, most times I just get this feeling that he might wish to hurt Lorde but I got no proof.

Waking up so early, I had to leave the house to the company when I got a call from one of us that the Beta is dead.

“What of the surveillance camera? Have you checked it?”

“We did Beta and it was clean as ever, no sign of anyone coming in or going out, I am confused at the whole thing.”

“This is strange, I want to see his body and also the surveillance camera too to know if it was tempered with.”

“Yes, Beta.”

I walked to where the body was kept and perceived wolfbane.

“Did you got the smell of wolfbane around him?”

“Yes Beta and that was how I found this syringe in his hands, I didn’t take it off, seems he was the one that killed himself with it or.”

“Someone did it and made it look like he did.” I finished his statement and he nodded.

“Alpha Lorde will not be happy to hear about this, I will see the surveillance now.”

I went to the room to check each cam, I saw everyone on duty and things went well but something strange happened, it was repeating the same thing over and over again for the next twenty minutes, which means someone did something and I have a feeling, an insider that works here but who? Is the question?

I got so confused that I don’t know how to break it to Lorde, I went back to the usual office and I have informed the set of special individuals who Lorde invited to work for the company will be coming today, special means from different wolves pack.

“Okay then, make sure you treat them well when they come and take them to the mansion to show them their rooms and one last thing, they should never come to Lorde main place in the mansion except they are invited in okay?”

“Yes, boss.”

“Good.” He left, I hope I get to meet my mate soon, I know Lorde will be spending more time with his mate.

Amelia’s Pov

I keep having a repeated nightmare about being killed by someone, I opened my eyes, I remembered I didn’t come to the room myself but how come I am here?

“Red do you remember what happened to us?”

“We could not control our rage, we almost ended the life of a wolf but got stopped by our mate, I think we fell asleep because we overused our strength, remember we haven’t done any running to make us not to get weak.”

“Yeah true, we will run today so you can have a chat with our mate wolf form, remember he said we will get to know ourselves once the sun is down.”

I got up from the bed and I took note it was empty, Alpha Lorde is not here, did he go to work so early?

Oh no, we slept together in the same room, did I snore while sleeping? Did I sleep talk or hit him? What if he gets mad at me?

The door got opened revealing the maid having a beautiful smile on her face, “Good Morning Miss, Alpha Lorde wants you to wear this today and also, breakfast is ready.”

“Thank you so much.” I took the dress from her as she walked out of the room, I need to get ready for breakfast.

I entered the bathroom to have my bath when I remembered what the monster wolf said, why do I have the birthmark of the last bloodline, what does he mean by that? I also have heard this same word in my dream.

I finished having my bath when I decided to have a look using the mirror but I found no birthmark, I guess the wolf is not normal as well to think of seeing one here.

I wore the clothes the maid brought for me and I looked so pretty in them.

I went out for breakfast and I was a bit lonely, I stopped one of the maids, “Excuse me, Where is Alpha Lorde Mom?”

“She went out ma.”

“What about Alpha Lorde? Did he go to work?”

“No ma, he will be back soon.”

“Okay thank you.”

I finished breakfast and went back to the room feeling so sleepy as I felt something on my back.

I can’t believe I doze off just like that, checking the time in his room, exactly 11 am, I came out from the room when I noticed the maids and guard running helter-skelter, what must be the problem?

Then I heard an authoritative howl, it’s Alpha Lorde, what must have happened, luckily I saw his beta.

“What problem actually?”

“We caught the Beta working for the wolf hunters who destroyed a whole pack of wolves and he was under interrogation, I don’t know how it happened but someone killed him now we have no clue.”

“Oh no, this is tragic.”

“Yes, since you are his mate, can you go in and calm him?”

“Me?” Fear gripped me when he asked.

“Yes, only his mother can calm him but she is not around, since you are his mate you should be able to, please give it a try so we all can be happy.”

“Okay, I will try.” He smiled at me as he directed me to the part Alpha Lorde is.

“Red what if he kills me?”

“There is no harm in trying.”

I was left alone in the empty room that has planted roses that are fake just to beautify the place.

“Alpha Lorde,” I called his name, immediately he gripped me asking,” Why are you here?”

I stammered not knowing what to say or how to calm him down.
