Fear gripped him instantly, many thoughts started running through his mind, did Lorde find out something he did? He was a dirty wolf in secret and that’s one of the reasons he was getting scared.

He instructed them to entertain Alpha Lorde with a bottle of the best wine in the house while he gets prepared to meet him.

He entered his room walking up and down, luckily his wife came In asking, “My love is everything okay with you? Why are you walking to the same spot and leaving the same spot than going back again?” She describes with her hands.

“Honey guess who is in our house?”

“Amelia?” She said.

“That will be better so I can bring my wrath on her for harming my child Katarina and trying to run away in the woods.”

“Then who? Who my love?” She asked touching his shoulder so he could sit on the bed with her, she focused on his lips moving.

“Alpha Lorde.” Her eyes almost popped out from her eye socket.

“How? He left last night, how possible is that? Or did he come here for an emergency meeting with our packs?” She questioned.

“That is exactly what I don’t know, Alpha Lorenzo would have informed me as the beta of the pack to get things in order which means that he didn’t come for business.”

“You are right my love, even if he wishes to come for a visit, he won’t come to the beta home but the alpha home and according to custom, you will go pay then a visit, why do you think he is here?” She asked.

“I wish I could give a response to that.”

“You know what love, let’s go and find out before concluding so fast, moreover we didn’t do anything wrong.”

“What of Amelia?”

“I doubt if he even saw her again, he might be here for Katarina, who knows.” The wife said trying to cheer him up a little and it worked.

“Kiss me before we go.” He said holding her neck as she placed a kiss on his lips.

They both stepped out and got to where Alpha Lorde was, his coldness already filled the whole place and the wine remained untouched.

“Alpha Lorde welcome to our home.” He said with a smile.

“How many daughters do you have?” Was the first question that came out from his lips.

“Two Alpha Lorde.”

“Bring them out.” He said in an authoritative tone.

“Yes, Alpha Lorde.”

In no time, Katarina was present.

“What of the other?” He asked.

“She went out.” He lied to Alpha Lorde.

“Is she the waitress girl?”

“Alpha Lorde, I don’t get..” Lorde didn’t even let him finish his statement when he said, “Answer me, Yes or no.”

“Y…. yee… yes..” He stuttered when he finally answered.

“Why did you do it?”

“Do what?” He asked, immediately Lorde gripped his neck saying, “Never in your life reply to me with a question.” Everyone around went on their knee to plead with him before he let go, Amelia father started coughing as he fell.

“Bring her in.” He ordered and The beta along with his family was in shock to see Amelia, Katarina was so stupid to say, “You Bastard, you dare show your face….” Her mother tried giving her signs to keep calm.

“Oh Amelia you are here, we have been worried about you, good to have you back.” He tried pretending to worry but Lorde’s eyes started glowing at the word Katarina used.

“You used silver on her as a punishment why?” He asked as his claws and fangs were already out, Amelia was already in fear, everyone in the room panicked at what Lorde will do next.

“I… I….” Amelia dad didn’t know what response to give, he was caught off guard.

“How dare you lay a finger on my mate because she spoke to me, have you forgotten who I am, you even lied to my face, therefore this is your punishment for hurting your fellow wolf with what could have killed her and depriving the alpha of all alpha his mate, instant death.” Everyone got scared at his pronouncements, he raised his hands to target the beta heart so he can reap it out.

“Father it pains me you were not opportune to live longer to fulfil the quest to set us free for good and claim back what is ours, I will make sure not to disappoint you, keep an eye on me from now henceforth dad.”

I spoke to my dad photo I was holding in my room, suddenly a knock came on my door.

“Who are thou?” I asked.

“You loyal bird Lynx.” He responded.

“Come in,” I added.

“Greetings Lord Andre, I came with good news from the lab.”

“Shoot,” I said without giving him a gaze for a second but my focus was on my father picture.

“Lord Andre, the doctor after conducting a series of tests and experiments with the werewolves in our custody, he finally found a way for you to be able to shift.” He smiled.

“Are you smiling?”

He frowned his face saying, “No my lord.”

“Good, if it’s true then take me to the secret lab at once.”

“Yes, lord Andre.”

“Father, your son is almost there.” I kissed the photo and dropped it on the table before stepping out with Lynx outside while he drove the car out from the parking space as he opened the door for me to go in, then he drove at ease to the lab.

I entered the lab and one of the human-wolf hits the cage angrily, “You Monster.” I ignored it as I got to where the doctor is.

“Good to have you, Sir Andre, after all the new formula and so many experiment, finally I.”

“Hold it.” I paused him without letting him finish his statement.

“Lynx told me you found a way, am I correct?”

“Yes, you are.”

“Then you may begin by testing it on me at once.”

“Sure.”

I watch him as he started infusing some stuff he has gotten from some werewolf and others I have no idea of, then I pulled my shirt, he was shocked at the tattoo he saw on my body, just my cousin and I has this on, it’s a family mark.

He injected my arm and suddenly I became wide and angry as my claws started coming out, it’s working I told myself then suddenly I felt a sharp pain that made me scream, “Arhhhh.”

In ten minutes I got myself back, “Failed.” I said, seeing those changes were just my imagination that it was working, I did feel it but in the end, he failed.

“No, no, please, give me another chance sir, seems something went wrong, I will.” I gripped him by his neck lifting him up as he struggled for his life, in that same position, I twisted his neck and he died immediately, “Burn the body and get us a new doctor.” I ordered leaving the place.
