Chapter 62: I Did Not Hurt Her

In the midnight, suddenly a fierce wind was blowing. The unclosed luffer boards were flapping and Belle in a light sleep was woke up by the noise. She thumped her swelling and numb knees several times then walked slowly to go to close the window dragging her right leg.

It was a gloomy sky and a rainstorm was coming.

As expected, when she just closed the window, rain drops fell like pouring water outside. It was a overcast black out there. Rain drops were flapping on the window making a crackle. Drowsiness was totally gone for Belle. She turned to look to the bedroom then moved to the door slinkingly.

Streets in Gang City was quite empty tonight since the rainstorm. Belle walked on a mud road alone. Wild wind of summer night was striking her face but it seemed that she could not feel it. "I'm fine. Just here to visit a friend. Please show me the way to the wardroom. You can go with me if you are still worried." Belle tried her best to use a mild tone. She knew that it was very weird she came to the hospital in the midnight. But without this chance, how could she come out alone?

" This is it. Miss Ning is in this room. Remember, don't do anything bothering the patient." The nurse said after she brought Belle to a vip wardroom on the top floor. Belle nodded. She stopped outside the door. Her hand was frozen in the air for a long while then she opened the door gently.

A intricate smelling combined with smelling of medicines blowed to Belle's face.

It had been five years. Things had changed a lot. Belle moved to the bed slowly with her lame leg. She watched May resting on the bed quietly. May looked the same as before. A complicated feeling raised in Belle's heart and the feeling was much stronger than the feeling when she just arrived here.

“I'm just here to see May." Belle lowered her head. She was not telling a lie. Tonight, she just wanted to have a look.

Then he rushed to the lift and pressed the button like a mad man. When Ethan got to the first floor, Belle had already disappeared.

The man looked for Belle all around the quiet hospital but she was just like vanished in this world.

How could a sick woman with injured hands and legs hurt someone else?

Echo was surprised when she saw Belle came back," I said that you can have several days off. Why are you coming here?"
