Chapter 125
"Are you trying to goad me?" Jaydon put down the spoon and took out a handkerchief to wipe his mouth.
"It's none of your business. Anyway, I'm going to join them now. Just stay here if you're afraid." Alita smiled provocatively and stood up to walk out. She silently counted the seconds in her heart.
"Wait for me." Jaydon's voice sounded behind her. She secretly snickered. She knew that he would definitely follow her before she counted to three.
She retracted her smile and deliberately turned around with a stern face. "Jaydon, have you decided to go with me? I might take the opportunity to mess with you. You're doomed. It's not too late to change your mind."
Jaydon grabbed her head and kissed her hard on the mouth. "Alita, don't pretend to be obedient after taking advantage of me. Didn't you say you were going to farm? Then go. I want to show you that I'm an all-rounded genius. Nothing can be a problem for me."
"I think you're more like an all-rounded megalomaniac," Alita said as she wiped her lips with the back of her hand. Then, she turned around and quickly followed the two villagers.
"You don't believe me? Then you'll know what I can do later. Don't worship me too much," said Jaydon. He didn't think it was that hard. "Is that so? Then I'll wait and see." Alita blinked and smiled innocently.
Jaydon looked at her face and could not help but feel uncertain. However, the reason why he went to do it despite knowing there might be trouble was because whether he would be tricked by this woman or not, this was a new beginning for them. He wanted to hoard more memories for each other. In those memories, she would smile brightly.
They followed two villagers, a man and a woman. They were middle-aged and looked like a married couple. They communicated with them in the local language.
"Hello!" Alita gave a friendly smile.
The middle-aged man and woman also smiled and greeted Alita and Jaydon, "Hello!"
"My name is Alita. His name is Jaydon. We came here from another country to have fun. Sir and Madam, what are your names?" Alita tried to get close to them.
The man in the camel-colored suit said, "My name is John, and this is my wife. Her name is Lucia."
Alita said, "Okay. John, Lucia, may I just call you by your name then?"
"Yes, no problem." Lucia smiled very kindly.
"Are you guys going to grow crops? Can we go together? My..." Alita looked at Jaydon and could not find the words to describe their relationship. In the end, she could only smile and try to muddle through. "My friend wants to experience it."
Jaydon's handsome face darkened when he heard her words as he wondered, 'My friend?'
"Sure!" John agreed readily.
Lucia looked surprised. "Are you just friends? I thought you were a couple because you were wearing matching outfits."
Jaydon smiled and said, "Actually, we're husband and wife. We're here on vacation, but my wife always likes to spend time with me like we're friends, so sometimes she's a little..." He pointed to his head, meaning that sometimes she would be confused.
"I see." Lucia nodded in understanding. Now that she had a closer look at Jaydon, she was stunned. "Young man, you're so handsome."
"Thank you! Many people say so," Jaydon replied directly without any modesty.
Alita covered her mouth and looked like she was about to throw up.
Many people said so. He just had no shame.
"My dear wife, you're not allowed to make such jokes in the future. Look, others have misunderstood our relationship. You have to know that the most unlikely relationship between us is friendship, understand?" Jaydon walked to her side and hugged her. He smiled at her gently and brightly.
Alita turned her head and glared at him. However, she did not want to argue with him in front of others and leave a bad impression on others. John and Lucia smiled happily. The young couple seemed to have a good relationship.
With John and Lucia leading the way, they came to a clearing.
When Jaydon felt the soil in his expensive sneakers, he furrowed his brows. He hated being dirty.
However, Alita squatted down and took a deep breath in satisfaction, revealing a look of enjoyment.
He asked in confusion, "Is this mud fragrant?" In his opinion, it was dark and dirty. Not to mention smelling it, just looking at it made him feel disgusted.
"That's right. If you don't believe me, you can squat down and smell it too. The fragrance of nature wafts over. It's really great." Alita put on an intoxicated expression and waved at him. "Come, try to smell it too."
Jaydon narrowed his green eyes warily. "Are you serious? I think you're fooling me."
"I am serious. You can only smell it if you squat down." She reached out and pulled his hand.
Even though Jaydon did not believe it, he still squatted down.
"Do you smell it?" Alita asked as she quietly reached behind his back to grab the mud.
Jaydon took a sniff and frowned. "Can I say no?" He knew that she was lying to him.
"I think your nose is malfunctioning. A little local medicine might be able to cure it," Alita said. Before Jaydon could come back to his senses, she wiped the mud on his nose with lightning speed.
"Alita, you're so naughty." Jaydon quickly waved her hand away and stood up. He wiped his nose and his hands were covered in black mud. His handsome face instantly darkened.
"Haha..." Alita held her stomach and laughed since he looked really funny. "Jaydon, you can only be down-to-earth by doing this. This is an important ceremony before labor. You look like a diligent farmer."
Jaydon took out a handkerchief and wiped his nose. However, there was still a gray mark.
Looking at Alita who was bursting into laughter, he grabbed a handful of mud from the ground and pounced on her.
Seeing this, Alita quickly ran away. "Stay, stay back."
Jaydon shouted, "Wicked girl, stop running!"
Jaydon was fast after all. No matter how smart Alita was or how fast she ran, he still caught her and held her in his arms.
Seeing that he was about to smear the mud on her face, Alita quickly begged for mercy. "Jaydon, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have teased you just now. I was just joking with you. Don't smear it on me, okay?"
"Humph, it's too late to be afraid now," Jaydon said with a wicked smile and a smug look on his face, He smeared the mud on her nose as he said, "Husband and wife should go through thick and thin together. Since there's mud, of course, we have to smear it together
"I don't want to smear it." Alita shook her head.
"Don't move. Otherwise, I won't be able to paint it nicely. I don't care if you look like a Pigsy." Jaydon tapped her forehead lightly, wondering, 'Wicked girl, you shouldn't have messed with me by playing tricks.'
"Jaydon, you bastard!" Alita cursed as she struggled. She thought to herself that her face must look absurd by now.
Jaydon smiled incomparably

happily. "Go ahead and scold me. Well, you need a little bit more here It'll be even more perfect after I make up for it." His expression was very focused as he smeared a bit more mud on her face before he said in satisfaction, "It's done."
Jaydon let go of her and stepped back. He held back his laughter and sized her up carefully. Then, he took out his phone and said, "I have to take a photo of this."
Feeling a flash of light, Alita came back to her senses in time. She pointed at Jaydon's phone and stomped her feet anxiously. "Jaydon, how dare you!"
"It's better to share the happy moment. I can't just keep it to myself." Jaydon saw her stomping her feet in anger and smiled even more happily. It was really rare to see her like this.
"Happy my ass. Why don't you send a post of your mud-covered face? I'm telling you, if you dare to send it, I'll execute you on the spot." Alita rushed over and wanted to snatch his phone to delete the photo.
Jaydon quickly ran away while hiding his phone in his innermost pocket.
"Stop right there!" Alita chased after him.
They were chasing each other in the fields. John and Lucia were already loosening the soil at the side and
preparing to sow seeds. Seeing that the two's faces were covered in mud and they were playing so happily like kids, John could not help but smile and sigh. It was good to be young.
Alita chased Jaydon for three rounds before finally catching him. Actually, he deliberately slowed down so that she could catch him.
"H-Hand over your phone," she panted, sweating profusely.
"What phone? Honey, are you hallucinating?" Jaydon played dumb.
"Don't play any tricks. Don't tell me that you've already sent the photo." Alita pulled up his collar and leaned over.
Jaydon looked at her face and pursed his lips, trying his best to hold his laughter in. In the end, he could not take it anymore and burst out laughing. "Haha, I'm sorry. Honey, your face looks so cute now."
He laughed until his face hurt. It had been a long, long time since he had laughed so heartily. He couldn't stop laughing.
Alita blushed and pushed him away. She first wiped the mud off her face with her hand, but in the end, it got her into a worse mess.
This time, even John and Lucia laughed.
"Ms. Lewis, go to the lake and wash up. It's right there." Lucia pointed to the lake not far from the field.
Only then did Alita run to the lake and wash her face with a handful of clear lake water as she thought, 'Damn you, Jaydon. I'll mess with you hard
later!'
Jaydon said, "Don't be so dark inside, it's scary."
Alita screamed, "Ah!"
His deep voice suddenly sounded in her ear, scaring her so much that she almost fell into the lake. She turned around and saw Jaydon sitting on the
side.
She wondered if he could read minds.
Jaydon wet his hand and wiped her chin. "You didn't wash it clean here!"
Alita waved his hand away. "Hurry up and wash your nose. I'm going to work officially now." She stood up and walked into the field.Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
After Jaydon washed the mud off his nose, he returned to the field.
She threw an iron tool at his feet. "You'll loosen the soil!"
"Loosen the soil? How?" Jaydon did not understand this.
Alita pointed at John. "Like what he's doing. Since you're an all-rounded genius, it won't be a problem to you at all, right?"
Jaydon looked at John, who was not far away, and sweat began to appear on his forehead.
