It was the wedding day. I still had my doubts in the corner of my mind but I was tucking it away neatly. No one was so thrilled but they were all here for me and they had decided to embrace him in our family. If I decide that I don’t want to be part of this now then I’m just being so partial and self centered. I was in a bathrobe sitting on the bed. Looking up wards waiting for my professional make up artist to do my make up. That was Anika and Anita. They were rubbing minds together to make me look beautiful.

The girls were also running around trying to get ready for the wedding that was coming up in two hours.

Cara, Anita, Anika, Leah, and Claudia were also getting dressed in their peach dresses. They looked stunning.

I can’t remember most of the things that went on in the room all that masked my mind was doubt and fear of the unknown.

When my dad came to get me and my train the other girls had left to go sit in the church. My dad looked at me and he had tears in his eyes.

“My little girl is grown up,” he said hugging me in a tight grip.

“Dad I don’t want to cry,” I said fighting back the tears. “My makeup will be ruined,” I said and he pulled away.

“Don’t cry” he said wiping my tears from my eyes. “Are you ready?” he asked and I nodded before I changed my mind. I looked beautiful I will give the twins one for that. They really had it there and my dress fit perfectly. It was hiding the baby bump that was stretching out my skin.

“Nice car,” I said why my dad led me to it. My train and Hayley got into two other Benz there. We were driving to the church. When I got there. I waited outside until it was time to go in.

The wedding March song started and I went hand in hand with my dad inside the long aisle. With each step, I made up my mind that I was going to fight for everything to work. I don’t want to give my child a tough time. I was making the right choice and I was doing all this for the baby.

I stopped at the front of the church where Noah stood in a blurry tuxedo. He looked so handsome in that suit. In fact, he was looking like heaven rained on him personally.

Dad and Noah hugged each other. “Take care of her,” Dad said to Noah and he nodded Dad went and took his seat beside my mom. My mom looked like she was about to cry a river.

I turned to Noah with a smile I pulled on. “You look breathtaking,” he said and I could sense the honesty in his tone.

“You don’t look too bad yourself,” I say and he pulls on a smile that compliments that pretty face of his. What am I saying? Not pretty as in more than my cousins but I mean pretty as in he can pass off for a model. As if that makes it any better Rachael. I rant away in my head and conclude it won’t be too bad if he is pretty. I had to think he was pretty so I might like him in the long run. We turned to face the priest.

“We have gathered here today to witness the solemnization of Noah Lorraine and Rachael Mirchoff” he began and I know that I can’t remember each and everything that he said. We decided just to say I do instead of us reading vows like they do now.

We had nothing to say to each other because sue me we barely know each other. Rachael and you seem smart enough to know that people don’t marry strangers.

“So Noah Lorraine do you take Rachael Mirchoff to be your lawfully wedded wife for better, for worse, in sickness and health, in riches and poverty till you both shall live,” the priest said.

Noah looked at me “I do” he said and looked back at the priest.

“Rachael Mirchoff do you take Noah Lorraine to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and respect for better and worse, in sickness and health, in riches and poverty till you both shall live” he continued.

My voice hooked in my throat. “I do” I managed to croak out.

“By the power vested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife,” he said and then continued “I now present to you Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine,” he said. “You may kiss the bride,” he said.

There were collective gasps as people waited for it to happen. Noah raised the veil and planted his lips on mine in a quick kiss. We were married after all but why did it feel so right now?

There were cheers and soon we were all heading to the reception site. I was sitting in the back of the limo.

Another car? I thought to myself as we both rode in the back of the car the driver in front. He pulled up the window that was separating us from the driver and he turned to face me. I could feel his stare on me so I turned to him and his face was just a few inches away.

“Noah” I gulp. My throat moved up and down.

“Mrs. Lorraine,” he said his breath tickling my face.

“What are you doing?” I ask him and he leans forward. If there is any way he can do that.

“Mrs. Lorraine why do I have a feeling that you are nervous” he said and I just gulped. Great Rachael how will you deny that true fact now?

“I’m not nervous” I managed to construct out and he broke into a smile. “You are just too close,” I said.

“You have to be used to it,” he says and I gulp. Why don’t you turn into a gulping fairy?

“Meaning?” I ask and then realize that that wasn’t the right question.

“Because we are married now and we will live together and sleep together and I don’t think I’m letting you go,” he said and we’ll that’s a shocker, isn’t it?

“I know that but you don’t have to be too close,” I say when I feel his breath on my face.

“I just want to kiss my wife is there anything wrong with that?” he asked and yes I’m a gulping fairy.
