It’s a welcomed distraction from the tension and anticipation that has been building since we discovered the whereabouts of Lottie’s stalkers….

Del and I share a few laughs and lighthearted conversations as we shop, allowing ourselves a momentary respite having heard no updates of the three leaving the trailer park yet

But despite our shop, amidst the laughter and natural chaos of the mall, my thoughts kept drifting back to Lottie… and our heartfelt conversations…

As I browse through the displays, my eyes catch sight of a jewelry store…

I decide to go towards it, leaving Del at the makeup counter as he attempts to explain to the female staff member what he was looking for… humorous to say the least since none of us had a single clue about makeup!

The bell above the door jingles as I enter, and I’m immediately greeted by the glimmering showcases filled with exquisite expensive pieces.

I approach the counter, my attention drawn to a delicate necklace adomed with a heart–shaped pendant. The pendant can be engraved with a personalized message, and I know instantly that it’s the perfect gift for my Lottie

I had never bought such a gift before, especially for a female since it always seemed too mature – that is until Lottie came into my life.

I want nothing more at this point than to make her feel special. After everything the girl has endured, it’s what she deserves….

“See something you like son? The small woman comes to my aid, as I clear my throat awkwardly.

I quickly purchase two pairs, envisioning the joy on Lotte’s face when she see them and finds out they will be matching.
