Invincible Heir

Chapter 149 Greetings Mr. Owen

Chapter 149 Greetings Mr. Owen

By the time Tracy got out there, the two were finished.

Sherry’s hair was loose, and her slippers were missing.

Terry was worse off. There were three gashes down his face, already bleeding. Sherry had scratched

him.

“Terry Perry, you useless bastard, I have married you for almost three decades, and what have you

given me for all these years?

“We’ve finally managed to lead better lives, but you want me to get out of here and go rent a place with

you?

“You can go yourself!”

Sherry placed her hands on her hips, her attitude rock solid. She wasn’t budging.

Baron and the sisters all realized that they’d gotten into a fight over the move.

“Sure, I haven’t given you anything, but what have you given me? What have you given this family?

“You loaf around all day watching television. You never do the chores, and you don’t even make dinner,

so what right do you have to stay here?

“You’re going no matter what you say!”

Terry wasn’t budging either. This was the first time he’d taken such a firm stand.

Neither of them was giving way right now.

“Yuri said that a nanny was coming next week, so there’ll be people to cook and clean from now on!”

Sherry said lightly.

“Have you no shame?”

Hearing that, Terry flew into a bigger rage. “You laze about at home all the time doing nothing, and now

you want your daughter to hire a nanny? Has there ever been a mother as shameless as you?”

“I didn’t ask her to pay for a nanny, so what are you yelling at me for? Besides, I raised them this long,

so what’s the problem with them spending some money to ease my burdens?” Sherry chuckled coldly.

Terry was about to explode. “What relation do my daughters have with you? Have you given them any

motherly love? Where the hell do you get off staying here and leeching off my girls?”

In the heat of the moment, Terry was letting it all out, but Tracy and Yuri weren’t aware of it.

Sherry, though, started to panic, her eyes growing shifty as she said cagily, “If you want to leave, Terry,

leave on your own. I won’t go with you.”

“You’re not leaving, are you, Sherry? Fine. Then I’ll wait for you at civil service tomorrow morning, and

we can get a divorce. You won’t have anything to do with me afterwards.” With that, Terry turned to

leave.

Sherry lost her nerve, her gaze fearful.

“Your dad wants to divorce me, Tracy! Talk him out of it!”

Getting emotional, Sherry grabbed Tracy’s hand and pleaded.

Tracy looked calmly at her. “You know Dad, Mom. No one can talk him out of a decision. If Dad wants

to move out, just follow him. Could take care of each other, after all.”

Hearing Tracy’s words, Sherry’s face grew slack. She could never have imagined that the usually

obedient Tracy could say something like this.

“You’re kicking me out?” Sherry demanded, eyes red.

Tracy’s reply was mild. “I’m not kicking you out. I just don’t want Dad to be alone.”

With that, Tracy left as well.

Looking at her daughter’s receding back, Sherry’s face grew more and more twisted. “Fine. Fine! Every

one of you wants to treat me this way. I’ll make you pay!”

At this moment, Sherry’s contorted face was full of hatred, but no one noticed.

“Everything all right?”

Baron asked quietly as Tracy returned to her room.

Tracy shook her head. “I’m fine. Let’s go to bed!”

The night passed in silence and in the early morning the next day…

Baron and Tracy took Lara out of the room and saw two trunks in the living room, along with a few

scattered items.

“Are you really moving out, Dad?”

Tracy still couldn’t bear it and walked up.

“Live on happily like this, Tracy. I already convinced your mother. We’re moving out. The place we’re

renting is a bit small, though. Just enough for me and your mom.”

The three scratches on Terry’s face had already scabbed over, and he laughed it off. “Yuri can stay

here, so you have some company.”

Tracy knew that Terry had already made up his mind, so she didn’t try to convince him. She looked at

Baron. “I’ll take Yuri’s car to drive Mom and Dad there. You take Yuri and Lara to work and school.”

Baron said, “Want me to take Mom and Dad?”

“I’ll go!” Tracy replied.

Baron nodded and didn’t say anything else.

Sherry came out with a handbag, her expression ugly.

“Mom, I’ll take your bag!”

Tracy reached out for Sherry’s bag, but she dodged off. “I don’t need your fake pity.”

Tracy’s expression dimmed slightly, and Terry glared at his wife.

Baron waited until Tracy drove off with her parents, and he looked at Yuri and said, “We should go too!”

Yuri’s eyes were puffy. She obviously hadn’t slept well last night.

Baron took Lara to school, then took Yuri to the Brone Group.

On the way, Yuri didn’t say a word. Her eyes were a little empty, and her thoughts remained closeted.

Her gaze lightened up a little when they were about to reach the Brone Group, and she looked at Baron

and said, “Sorry, big bro!”

Baron started at suddenly being called “big bro”, then remembered Yuri had taken to calling him brother

last night and laughed. “Why are you apologizing?”

“I’m apologizing to you for my mother. She’s always been so shameless, and my sister and I are used

to it. Besides, she’s our mother. However we dislike how she acts, she gave us life. We can’t hate her.”

Yuri’s voice caught. “But you’re different. You’re not related to her. She shouldn’t treat you like this.”

Baron chuckled. “Alright, don’t overthink it, sis. So long as she doesn’t cross the line with me, I won’t do

anything to her either.” Content © NôvelDrama.Org 2024.

Yuri dipped her head and smiled. “Thanks, big bro!”

They’d reached the Brone Group as they spoke. Yuri fixed her makeup and strode into the office

looking just like a strong and independent woman.

Baron, on the other hand, drove towards the Domom SPA. He’d given Jerome one night to consider,

and he was waiting for his reply.

Twenty minutes later, at the Domom.

“Good morning, Mr. Owen!”

Baron had just walked into reception when he heard a mumbling voice.

“Seems like you’ve made the decision.”

Baron looked at him liltingly and mocked.

Jerome stepped forward and was about to speak when Baron cut him off. “We’ll talk in my office!”

What they were about to discuss was huge. Domom was his place, but it was still necessary to be

cautious.
