Invincible Heir

Chapter 124 Her Graceful Body

Chapter 124 Her Graceful Body

Karson’s men were apathetic and composed. It seemed commonplace to them.

Baron was a bit surprised. Karson was so arrogant, and he couldn’t pull himself from trouble when

there was a gun fire, even though this was his place.

James intended to turn his pistols but failed. He didn’t show any fear but intense hatred and

unsatisfaction.

“Ha!”

A poker card dashed out and its strong force stirred up a sound of wind when Karson was going to took

a shot.

“Bang!”

He failed to do so, and his hand was cut from the wrist. The pistol and the hand fell on the ground

simultaneously, accompanied by a blooding poker card.

Then a miserable cry sounded inside the box.

Everyone turned to look at Baron and they were all terrified. A pile of poker cards appeared in his

hands and he kept playing with them.

James’s bald head seemed to be washed – sweat kept rolling down from his head and into his eyes,

and he blinked.

Karson’s brothers all shivered.

James aimed at Karson and forced them to put the guns on the table. No one dared to take them.

Karson held his right broken arm and wallowed. Soon he stopped and passed out.

Numerous onlookers had been waiting for the result since Baron entered the box with Karson.

Unexpectedly, they heard the cry before Baron came out.

“He must be broken by Karson. It’s Karson’s place anyway.”

“It’s a miserable sound. It seems that the boy has undergone a terrific trauma. Otherwise, he cannot cry

so terribly.”

“The sound had ceased. The man may pass away.”

Onlookers outside the door discussed in a low voice.

It was impossible to identify who uttered the voice. Under such circumstance, nobody could believe that

Karson uttered the cry.

Tracy was even more concerned about his husband. She was familiar with his sound, and the sound

was strange. Except Baron, other people were all Karson’s fellows.

Tracy directly rushed into the box but was hindered by two bodyguards standing at the gate of the King

Club.

“What’s your name?”

Baron asked James out of surprise.

James perceived that Baron was unique when he met Baron at the Neon Night. He reaffirmed his

thought when he found that he used a card to cut Karson’s wrist.

He shivered all over when asked. He was on Baron’s knees in a thump. He lowered his head and

replied deferentially, “My name is James. From now on I will follow your lead!”

Onlookers were astonished.

James had no real power in the King Club. The deputy manager was only a nominal title. However, he

used to be something in Cona when he took charge of the Neon Night, so why did he kneel down in

front of a young man?

They didn’t clearly see what happened, but thought that the card was merely a facade, although he cut

Karson’s wrist with a card. In fact, Karson’s wrist was cut by something else.

Therefore, it was unnecessary for them to kneel down like James even though they feared Baron.

Karson lost a hand, but he could still be in charge of the King Club.

Baron didn’t care but squinted, “Get up!”

“Yes, sir!”

James replied in respect and then stood up.

Baron rose to his feet slowly and glanced at the folks calmly. Then he pointed at James and said,

“From now on, James is the owner of the King Club. Any idea?”

James was ecstatic, as he was sure that Baron was extraordinary, and he admired Baron so much. He

was sure that he would be the king all over the entertainment venues throughout Cona so long as

Baron held his words.

“Our master was still alive! You dare to occupy the city? You are so arrogant.”

Howard said suddenly and his words were full of disrespect.

“Now that you disagree, then you can just...”

A card between his two fingers flied out instantly before Baron ended his words.

“Ha!”

“Go to hell!”

Then Baron finished his words.

Everyone was watching the scene and it was found that Howard’s eyes opened wide and a blood red

string turned up on his neck. Soon blood oozed out from it. Within seconds, blood gushed out.

Howard collapsed, twitched and ceased to move. His eyes were still open and wide, full of

astonishment.

Senior members who doubted whether Baron used a card only to break Karson’s wrist discarded their

confusion. Their eyes were fraught with fear only.

James couldn’t hold his breath either, as if his heat would jump out.

A card to cut one’s wrist; a card to take one’s life.

Was it possible for a normal person?

“Thump!”

A dozen people hurried to kneel down and vied with each other to speak, “From now on, we will follow

Mr. Baron’s lead!”

Baron ignored them and looked at James, saying, “You decide Karson’s life!”

“Yes, sir! Thank you!” James hurried to answer.

Baron didn’t kill Karson not because of his mercy. The villain like Karson had done all the evil

wrongdoings. It was okay for him to die. But he could tell James’s hatred to Karson.

There must be something else that made James so hostile to Karson.

Baron strode away and stopped when he got the gate. He said while his eyes showed a gust of

chillness, “All entertainment venues across Cona are banned from illegal trade. If I knew about it, you

are to be punished!”

James shivered and understood that it was an order to him, and he knelt down out of fear. He

promised, “No worries, Mr. Baron. No illegal venue in the future.”

Baron would never forget his identity anytime or anywhere.

Illegal trades took a heavy toll on numerous households. He wasn’t able to pull everyone out of this

trouble, but he could root out it from Cona.

Baron put on his mask again and walked away.

Baron walked out in composure when the door was opened. Onlookers who were waiting for the result

were all stunned.

Baron came out alive, so who uttered that miserable sound?

Baron was looking for Tracy. Suddenly, a fragrant wind passed over followed by the soft body sending

itself into Baron’s bosom. He held her hotly.
