As Olivia walked into the bedroom, she suddenly remembered that the shower head in her bathroom was faulty. She had noticed it when she came back from the hospital before. The water would stop after a while and would take two to three minutes to start up again. She had planned to ask the property management to fix it, but Leah suddenly showed up out of nowhere, messing up her plans. After that, she was so embroiled in other things, like rushing to Pearson Group to reclaim her assets that she forgot all about it.

She looked at the time and realized that the property management company had already closed for the day. It seemed that she could only ask Thomas for help to fix it, but could he fix a showerhead? Well, there was a chance that he could do that as it seemed as though he was capable of anything.

With this in mind, she walked out of the bedroom and looked toward the living room on the first floor.

From this angle, she could only see Thomas’ profile. He had a furrowed brow and a cigarette in his mouth. He had a faraway look in his eyes and a solemn expression on his face as if he was preoccupied with something.

Her guess was quite right on the money as Thomas was considering how to quickly restore his body to its prime. He wanted to return to his peak condition as soon as possible so that he could confidently deal with the three major families.

He had decided to visit all the major pharmacies in Irieson and find the best wild manroot. He was even willing to buy it at a high price. After all, he was not short of money now.

There was an eerie silence. It was so quiet that both of them could hear each other’s heartbeat.

This silence lasted for about two seconds before Thomas finally reacted.

Bang! He hastily turned around and walked out of the bathroom while closing the door behind him.

“Why didn’t Olivia lock the door? Besides, didn’t she always take showers in her bathroom? Why did she suddenly decide to use that bathroom today?”

The sound insulation in the villa was terrific, and with the door to the separate shower room closed, no sound could be heard from outside. He genuinely thought that there was no one inside.

Thomas could feel his heart pounding. His heart rate remained stubbornly fast by the time he returned to his bedroom. So, he lit a cigarette and started smoking, hoping to calm his excited mood.

Alas, no matter how hard he tried, the intimate scene he had just seen kept replaying in his mind. It was unable to be dispelled.

There was still no improvement even after he finished smoking a cigarette. He could only stand up and practice his leg techniques again.

Jake sat on the couch in the living room in his territory, a private villa on the outskirts of Irieson. His eyes were bloodshot as he hadn’t had a proper rest these past few days. His mind was solely focused on how to kill Thomas. He firmly believed that Thomas and Chloe already knew about their relatives’ graves being destroyed. After all, they couldn’t possibly be unaware of it. Once the cemetery staff discovered that someone’s grave had been destroyed, they would definitely notify the family about it.

Based on his understanding of Thomas, he knew that once the man learned about this, he would be furious. What he had to do was prepare and arrange everything to kill Thomas!

Little did he know, Thomas and Chloe genuinely had no idea about the desecration of their family graves. The subordinate Jake assigned had never followed his instructions to destroy Chloe’s mother’s grave. They had simply discreetly taken out the ashes!

If Jake knew what had actually happened, he would probably be so angry that he would die before he had a chance to kill Thomas!

The door was pushed open, and three men walked in.

Jake looked up at the three men and knew that they were the ones he had been waiting for tonight.

“Please have a seat.”
